A masterpiece cover. Fantastic foot drum control. You made it look easy. We, who play drums, know it isn´t so. Keep on playing drums that way, so relaxed and focused. Congratulations!
Probably one of the best covers I have seen on this song... outstanding job on the triplets and i loved how the music was softer so you could hear more of the drums.
Amazing how Bonham came up with this drum exercise at just 21 years old. The idea of it alone is incredible and then to be able to play it, is another story. He was way ahead of his time. Great execution man, good job!!!
Totally agreed Michael! It’s tough to play all these parts, imagine being able to create them! He was a genius on the drums! Thank you for your comment.
Truth. I can play like 5 instruments. Play guitar to a pretty decent standard. Could never do it on drums. Tried for a year, lessons, the whole bit. My brain just couldn’t make it happen. Something about my hands and feet doing completely different things and from one hand to the other in different rhythms. Plus I certainly wasn’t trying anything like this - couldn’t even do the basics.
Man, that was totally acceptable. JK..lol I mean You hit it AND kicked outta the park!!! Awesome job and unbelievable timing. Great vid, Thx for posting and keep up the good work!!!!
Song is as old as me and I still can't get the bass drum right ! Your footwork is awesome great song and album as John Bonham was one of the greatest drummers who lived ! A lot of drummers were inspired by Bonham as the Appice brothers for instance ,Carmine is absolutely phenomenal as Vinnie also !
Come across this by accident, but very impressive play man !!! This is the perfect example of a pro player just nailing it with years on bonanza experience when this was recorded this. John Henry bonham was the God of drumming, case closed
I love this music, too.So I played it using my rythme machine the other day, then I put the rest of the parts up onto RUclips. In fact, I took the rythme after your beating on RUclips. It was quite easy for me to repeat after you, thanks to the camera focused on the bass drum. I appreciate a lot.
Great footwork, nice triples.
+thanks mate S_P_O'Narge
I came here for the foot triplets. Not disappointed.
While they are triplets bohnam only ever played two notes at a time on the kick drum with the 3rd note in the triplet being the cowbell.
A masterpiece cover. Fantastic foot drum control. You made it look easy. We, who play drums, know it isn´t so. Keep on playing drums that way, so relaxed and focused. Congratulations!
Fernando Marques thanks a lot for your kind words my friend! All the best!
Probably one of the best covers I have seen on this song... outstanding job on the triplets and i loved how the music was softer so you could hear more of the drums.
Nailed it. A lot of these RUclips covers miss the subtleties, you sir did not, and it’s much much appreciated. Bonzo would be proud.
Fantastic cover!
John Bonham was one of a kind. Nobody before or after plays like him.
Thank you mate and I totally agree! X
That bass drum though...
Great sounding snare and toms. Your bass triplets had me laughing, they were so good.
Right on!
Amazing how Bonham came up with this drum exercise at just 21 years old. The idea of it alone is incredible and then to be able to play it, is another story.

@@MiggyonDrums In my opinion he was the greatest rock drummer, he had so many unique qualities.
it takes two brains to play like that

John Bonham was the Hendrix of drums. Change my mind.
No

Probably one of the hardest drum covers to do. Copying bonzos staccato bass drum is in this song is hard as hell. Well done

Holy smoke! What a surprise! This guy's good!
Awesome job man! So glad there's a great drum cover of this drum masterpiece out there. Hard to believe Bonzo wrote this when he was 17 or 18 lol
Thank you bro! It's hard to believe that he wrote that when he was that age, but it's true! He was insane! x
He was 19
Man, that was totally acceptable. JK..lol I mean You hit it AND kicked outta the park!!! Awesome job and unbelievable timing. Great vid, Thx for posting and keep up the good work!!!!

Great cover. It's an unbelievably creative and complex drum beat to pull off tight.👍
Nice one. Great kit. Great cymbals. Great Bonhaming.
Well.... congratulations !!!
Flawless brother.
Thank you Cory. All the best! 👍
Sounds even more awesome than when I put the needle down on that first album for the first time back in 1968, I was 12. Lol
HOLY SHIT!!!! THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!! YOU nailed that note for note and I am just a damn guitar player!!!
Awesome

How could anybody give this a thumbs down? I enjoyed every chest-thumping beat man! Good job!
Cover more Led Zeppelin!! Great cover!
Great sound, you really did a good job with the mics. On top of nailing it lol
Come across this by accident, but very impressive play man !!! This is the perfect example of a pro player just nailing it with years on bonanza experience when this was recorded this. John Henry bonham was the God of drumming, case closed
Loved it ! Awesome !!!!
Bro, how? Your bass kicks are insane man I always thought it was a double bass!
very good
Mad swinging there, fella. Just like Bonzo.
0:32 ahh the bass drum. So fast and satisfying.
Nice! One of the better ones I've watched.
Good job
Good stuff indeed

Great job brother!
Thank you Bracewell! All the best!
Very well done!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥....that was a masterpiece of a cover...drums sound amazing and so does your foot work...
Wow - very impressive!! (perhaps cowbell is a bit high in the mix) Excellent kick pedal work!
MrCJK84 thank you! I’m not sure when I’ll record another one using the cowbell but if I do I’ll be more careful with the mix. 👍
That's some amazing footwork! Has anyone else been using heel-toe for those doubles? That's how I've been playing it.
