I know she was in a lot of pain throughout the show. She was being supported by 2 other members when they came out for retreat and when they went to get their medals.
All respect to every member of pulse, but this show had some of the most creative writing both in music and visual design, it is absolutely absurd that they didn't win, as it's tradition for whenever they get 5th they always come back with a win the year after😢
It is criminal that this didn't win. Love pulse, but this was some of the most fantastic and impressive visual design that the activity's seen. Kudos to these guys
no, that's why judges split hairs in sub captions too. RCC beat pulse in every caption but music, and music is worth the most. No denying how clean pulse is
@@opem1383 if you look, the only reason why RCC lost is because Giff Howarth put them IN 4TH FOR MUSIC??!!!! RCC was absolutely robbed last night. Easily the fan favorite show this year, they deserved to win.
My heart goes out the middle 3rd bass girl. I played tenor drums in my high school marching band and that shit hurts like crazy when u land on ass! 50 pounds of weight coming down on u! Honestly cried like a bitch watching this show! Entirely masterful writing! It’s always like who’s going to just do a smidge better while every show is a master piece! 😂

i honestly liked this show more than pulse, and they should’ve won. also i felt really bad for the bass player that fell, but it was a great recovery which probably score then more points
I cried watching this show at finals because it was my brothers(Kaleb Roney) age out and it was just so good. Also the day after awards we got a call from my brother all excited because the judge for music was being fired because he wasn't true to the scores. RCC got three perfect scores in everything and pulse did not and music because the judge was either biased or something else. He gave RCC 4th, Pulse 1st, and Rhythm X 7th. So anyone who knows, knows that RCC won finals but that one judge messed it up. also I'm realizing it and I'm pretty sure if he wasn't biased and did give them the score they deserved then they would have broken every record in history with the highest score recorded a perfect 100. Im pissed but Im also happy because my brother aged out as best in the world.
That judge was aberrant af. It seems like he or she was actively trying to tank the show on purpose by giving our randomly low numbers to all the groups, except Pulse. Maybe Mapes has dirt on Giff Howarth and Giff knows it.
It really says a lot about the activity that this show got second and it’s as amazing as it is. Tbh Infinity’s show was my favorite overall, but if this is the type of stuff groups are putting out every year, WGI has a super bright future.
You can do it! Practice your guys out and learn as much as you can. I marched RCC WAY back! So if I can do it, so can you. And when you're done read this, go practice. Now get to it! 😎👍🏼😊
was so lucky to get to see this grow from their first performance at Great Oak to their last in Dayton, was so unlucky to never get to watch it from the front haha
My interpretation of the show is the struggle to find a place to call/build a home; in the end, it’s the people that you surround yourself with that make a place feel like home, no matter where that may be. Hence the violin player being visually and musically separated from the ensemble at the beginning of the show, and then completely immersed and surrounded at the end.
saw this live in Feb when it was still only halfway finished, knew then it was gonna medal. one thing that has surprised me and kept me wondering is why they chose not to cover their harness uppers, visually the silver/aluminum clashes against the orange. i know this is a nitpick but it almost breaks the immersion ever so slightly. if they had the version of the randall may harnesses with black uppers that would have probably looked ok. I was expecting them to cover up the uppers by finals week to blend into the uniform better, like many other groups do
@@TreDaviousSuperbOwlpulse had a good show but the battery book was kinda boring The pit writing was very musical but from a music theory standpoint kinda basic

Both groups did exceptionally well, ~0.4 from WR (98.92) I'm just happy that they got to perform for such an active crowd! 👏

Yea wild scores like that proves that judges are honest and flawed at the same time. They write down what they hear but they only hear so much.

Won 3/4 captions (2nd in the one they didn't win) and still lost. Highway robbery by Pulse
Cannot believe this didn't win. Screw Giff Howarth for giving RCC 4th in music and robbing them of a title
We will not be silent. This was the biggest rob of the decade. No fckin way this was 4th wtf

Haven't paid attention to WGI in almost 15 years. Wow is it more artistic than it used to be
I saw this live at a comp in SoCal.. it was very very good. The energy was next level

Why not join RCC?

The real star of the show is the drum set player. That intro is incredible and incredibly hard to play. Props to him
