BionicSkins™️ of Bionic Skins™️ and Spaulding Research Study Overview (1 minute version)

Are you using a leg prosthesis because of type ii diabetes?
The Spaulding Rehabilitation Motion Analysis Lab is recruiting for an on-going study!
Are you 18-80 years old?
Did you receive your prosthesis within the past 2-24 months?
Do you own a smartphone?
If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you may be eligible to participate in our study exploring use of digital health technology to encourage you to be active (i.e., walk as much as possible). You might be randomized to a group receiving a new liner and socket technology.
Participation involves:
6 in-person evaluation visits,
a 12-month walking program,
remote monitoring using wearable technology,
remote visits approximately every two weeks.
