Very cool to hear Tony Atlas talk about wrestling back in the day. Very real and honest. I hope he is doing well now, financially.

To hear these experiences and how Tony just roughed his way through it; it’s amazing. I am married and wish I had a wife like Tony’s that just unconditionally loved him for him. That’s irreplaceable for a man and plenty of us have been with or are with, someone and it’s conditional (usually financially conditional but sometimes not) and we just accept that as a part of life. That’s how capitalism has brainwashed us. I respect his toughness and drive and his pride in not asking anyone for anything. People are not built like that anymore. Much love and MAD RESPECT ✊🏿 to you Tony!

I've watched about 6 of your videos i must admit I enjoy you and Tony just chopping it about the wrestling I grew up on ! Being a 40 year squared circle fan, it is true pleasure to listen and watch the vids, I don't agree with everything Tony says on the New Era but I do respect him as a wrestler and as a black man in the business! Pass that on to Tony and please keep up the great work!

Tony always had star power in the big events in the Omni. He could just explode and end the match quickly. A real example of human strength coupled with agility.

I think whole Saba simba gimmick was a way for Vince to humiliate atlas. I remember when fist showed Saba simba . then I realized it was tiny atlas . this example of Vince McMahon packaging great wrestlers . he did to many example was Kerry von Erich, one man gang, dino bravo. Dustin Rhodes n dusty Rhodes. List goes on n on
Vince quest to be KING of it all negatively affected many people even onto death I wonder if he is even aware of the damage.

Wow amazing story. He was a huge inspiration to me as a kid. He and Rocky Johnson were my favorite. I lift weights, and I am muscular to this day due to wanting to be him as a child. My part time job is located in Downtown Dallas, and I have homeless people asking me daily for money, so much so that I even see them anymore. To think if he was homeless in Dallas, I wouldn't have even noticed him.

TONY is not exaggerating, I used to take bus from midtown Manhattan going up to the bronx area and on several occasions I saw bodies covered with white sheet and pool of blood near victim's head. This was 124th street and Madison in rush hour traffic. TRAGIC.
