The first 2 days after the bodies were found, it was treated as a murder scene, then out of no where the cops came to the conclusion it was a "murder suicide".
And if you question this you're viciously attacked by people who believe whatever the media tells them. Even if you bring up how ridiculous it is about how fast they wrapped this case up. They came to this conclusion so fast it boggles my mind how people can't think for themselves to even just QUESTION it.
Well, they did find that Chris Google Searched “quickest and easiest way to break neck” so it’s safe to assume that He did Hang himself.

This is one of my favourite Boston Wrestling episodes I find myself coming back to this quite frequently.
Tony says he won't get into it but we all know he will. I could listen to Tony all day. He's the most spoken truther behind wrestling and what happens.
I have thought about the same thing Tony said about Owen Hart. I think the possibility he was murdered for payback is believable.

One of the creepiest things about the Benoit Family Tragedy case: who sent those text messages from Chris and Nancy Benoit's cell phones to Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Scott Armstrong's cell phones? How can you hang yourself with a weight machine? How is that possible? The knife under Daniel Benoit's bed: whose knife is it, who does it belong to, how did it get under Daniel's bed and the knife was never examined for fingerprints and blood by the Fayette County police. The mysterious Wikipedia entry talking about Chris, Nancy and Daniel's deaths: who wrote the article? Does CTE really cause athletes and professional wrestlers to commit murder? And last but not least: who killed Chris, Nancy and Daniel? Who did it and why? The 2007 Benoit Family tragedy case needs to be reopened.
So according to the autopsy report nancy died friday late evening. Daniel exact time of death is unknown but it's speculate he most likely died saturday morning. Chris died on sunday night. The Text Messages were sent between 03:53 and 03:58 sunday by Nancy's and Chris's Cell phone, so by the autopsy report it is possible that Chris himself send the text messages. however during the first investagiation, the police believed Chris died saturday evening maybe sunday morning, but this was before the autopsy.
He not really hung himslef in a way most people would think off. Chris pulled a cable around his neck while sitting on the weightmachine. On the other side were the weights that he relased. And don't forget according to his google research his goal was not to hung himself but to break his own neck. I don't know if his neck was broken i never read anything on it either ways.
So the knife wasn't investigatet because there wre no signs of stab wounds on any of the victims. So that is in my opinion the reason they don't investigatet the knife because there was no need to do (Just my theory). But it's still suspicios why it was under Daniel's Bed?
The first Wikipedia Article which reportet the death of nancy benoit said: "However, Chris Benoit was replaced by Johnny Nitro for the ECW Championship match at Vengeance, as Benoit was not there due to personal issues, stemming from the death of his wife Nancy." was added June 25th 2007, 04:01 GMT on the english/american Wikipedia Site of Chris Benoit. The second time Nancy Benoit's was written on Wikipedia also the same page as prevous at June 25th 2007, 05:11 GMT which said the following: "However, Chris Benoit was replaced by Johnny Nitro for the ECW Championship match at Vengeance, as Benoit was not there due to personal issues which according to several pro wrestling websites is attributed to the passing of Benoit's wife, Nancy." So the police investigatet the IP Adresses of the Wikipedia Edits. The first Adress was from Stamford/Connecticut and the person who did this was matthew Greenberg a 19 years old student at that time. according to him he was searching for reasons benoit no showing at Vengeance and found in a Forum which he don't remembered Some person has written that his wife has passed away. The second IP Adress comes from Sidney/Australia and was added by wireless lan conection and the person if they ever searched for them was never official revelead. The Body of Daniel were first discovered June 25th 2007 18:45 GMT by neighbour Holly Schrepfer who was pleased by the police to check for the family because she could control the dogs of the benoit Familiy. The Police than discovered also the Bodies of Nancy and Chris and they ruled as double homicide suicicde. however for the Media they only said they investigatet the case as homicide with no further deatails.
So the Problem with CTE is that it can be only proven by an autopsy of the brain which is only possible by the death of the person. So till that it is only speculativ if this person who commits murder has CTE like for example OJ Simpson. CTE was proven in Aron Hernandez and Chris Benoit who boths are ruled as murders . We also have to understand that the effects of cte is different from each person. Some ar heavily influenced in his behavior or the control of his behavior while others are more effectet in his memory skills.
So Chris Benoit is most obvious the person who commited these murders, but his reasons or motivs behind it becomes secret till eternety as he decided to take it with in his own grave.
I also read that that Chris Benoit has a conversation with Holly Schrepfer on Saturday Afternoon where he informed her about the food poison of his wife and son. So even there was another Person involved in this situation why didn't Chris ask for help in this situation he was alone with her and he knows his wife and son were dead. It could also be possible that I mistaken the article and Chris informed Holly via phone but to my understandings it was a face to face conversation.
So If you ask me why Chris did it I and No one else will ever be able to answer this question. But I will give you my theory what could happend at that fateful weekend at the benoit House. "It cannot be ruled out that due to his paranoia and his damaged brain he fatally imagined a burglar or his persecutor in his wife. In order to protect himself and his family, he tried to incapacitate him, who was actually his wife. The end of the result is known. In the belief that he was confronting his persecutor and making him temporarily safe, he pursued other activities. When he came to or came back from a psychosis, he realized who the supposed intruder really was. His wife. Chris didn't know what to do and decided to take the life of his 7 year old son too. So that he doesn't have to grow up with the conscience that his father, his hero, became his mother's murderer. In order to at least spare him the suffering of the conscious murder, he persuaded him to drink a glass of water with Xanax. After he was certain that his son would not notice, he put the Crippler's Crossface on his son to allow him to die by suffocation with the help of a pillow. After a while he realized what he had actually done, he had just taken the lives of his wife and son. But how should it go on now, should he face himself and with the consequences of life most likely to be sentenced to death or to evade it.
Perhaps in deep repentance and contempt for himself, he put the Bibles down with his victims to ask for this forgiveness or to say a last prayer for them. Now he was looking for the safest option to take his own life so that all three corpses would be found in the best possible condition, he sent the familiar text messages. Now he was preparing for his end to prepare one of his fitness equipment so that it would become his place of execution."
The reason I think it went that way is because first Hardcore Holly reportet that Chris invited him friday evening to his house and how akward would it be if you planed to kill your wife while another person is in the house who could preventet your plans. Next Chris was acoording to close people very paranoid at the end of his life he actaully believe he was followed by someone but never said who it was. And I don't believe he was actually followed but I think that he thought he would be followed. Next Obvious CTE was part of it but is unclear how much of it. And Don't forget the Testotsteron Level of him which was (more than?) 10times higher than an average person. And all of this comes together at this tragic, fateful, horrofic Moment which lead to in my Opinion Chris's incredible, unthinkable and inexcusable crimes.
But Don't forget I was not there and my theory could be total bullshit and he really planed everthing out as well. But the most person who commits murder and stayed at the same place as their victims are most likely heavily mentally ill a normal person would at least leave the place.
When some said the Name "Chris Benoit" I nearly always had the person in mind that I know, The Crippler, The Rabid Wolverine, The Wrestler (One of the best I have ever seen) who I watched on Television and yeah I know what he did. But for me he was not an evil person but he was also not an victim he was an mentally ill Person who commited an horrible/monstreous crime. His troubled mental health must not relieve him of the burden of guilt of his actions, but neither should they be ignored. But if someone said the word "Childkiller/Childmurder" Chris Benoit's Picture is what comes to my mind if I heard this word.

Yeah if he had a history of beating Nancy or having fits of rage then u could perhaps accept that there was a terrible argument that got out of control and he struck her and accidently killed her but even then why would he kill his son? Even if he was going to kill himself out of guilt for killing Nancy.
If there was hints that she was planning on leaving him & maybe told him she was leaving him and he went nuts. But there was no hints at all of that, in fact the evidence showed that she was planning on having a bbq that day, she had been to the store to buy the food. That's not whar she had planned but didn't happen that's what she did! There was proof that she had been shopping with witnesses and receipts. So it just doesn't add up! That doesn't suggest there was any arguments or bad feeling that day it was supposed to have happened.
I met Tony in 2018 at Tommy Rich's wrestling school in Myrtle Beach and his triceps are very impressive. Tony is a fantastic artist and sold me several pieces he drew of other wrestlers. Great guy !

I never thought Tony Atlas would be so interesting to listen to but he's really great at telling stories about what happened back in the day and he's got a sharp mind and he's really down to Earth. I agree once suicide was part of it then case was closed. The police contaminated the scene before they secured it. They walked all through the house to find all 3 bodies instead of securing the crime scene after finding the first body.
There was one report i heard too that the police weren't even the first ppl to enter the home. Something about how the police had asked one of the neighbors to go into the backyard to secure the dogs that were running around and apparently this neighbor entered the house. Not sure if that's true but if it was i could see that being swept under the rug. Also it seems like incompetence that they would send the neighbor in by him/herself before them to a potential crime scene.

Great episode this week! Tony's not the first wrestling personality to suggest that there may have been a hitman involved. The comment he makes about putting the Bibles next to their bodies (if you're a Christian) makes a lot of sense. (If you're going to hell, why bother doing that?) And so many wrestlers say Benoit loved his child, that this doesn't make sense- the story we've been given.

At the end of the day nobody will never know what actually happened unless u were there and all 3 parties are dead and if there was another or others there then they aren't talking & likely will never talk. But the official conclussion is based on assumption, they just concluded that the scene they walked in on told the whole story, case closed! They had a small town police department with no experience in these types of cases never mind a high profile ones, investigate it. They had a small town mentality where anything other than what's in front of their nose is just dismissed.
The fact that Nancy seemed to have as big a, if not a bigger a pill habit than Chris did. With the sheer amount of pills she was prescribed and he was prescribed they either had severe habits or else were dealing these pills out which leads to possible other lines of enquiry. Maybe there is individuals who owe money or addicts who knew they had all these pills and wanted to get revenge for something to do with them or to steal and get what they were owed from them or just heard about the amount of pills kept at that house & wanted ro get them then stage it as what we are told happened.
The lack of motive alone just makes it suspicious.
I have enjoyed Boston Wrestling MWF and Tony and Dan for quite awhile now but it is my opinion that the addition of the youngster is a mistake. He is so young he doesn't have proper knowledge of most of the issues presented. He never heard of Kevin Sullivan?

Ironically, what happened with Benoit and his family is eerily similar to the death of Kurt Cobain. The cops in Seattle INSTANT;Y declared Cobain’s death a suicide without any in depth investigation at all. Drugs, booze, mood swings, depression, rage, etc...were all declared the symptoms of suicide in one and a murder suicide in the other. I say that Benoit’s murder and his family’s murder was a passion crime. Whoever killed those people made sure NOTHING of Benoit would exist in this world ever again; his name, his genes - his son, his work, his career - in America, Canada, and Japan, and beyond, etc...
Cobain was definitely murdered. I believe that Courtney had him killed. There's no doubt in my mind. She tried to kill him once with pills and tried to hire a guy to kill Kurt but he refused to do it. That guy was found dead on train tracks not long after that. He would have talked about Courtney wanting Kurt dead, so she had him killed too. The Seattle police were paid off. They fudged that case on purpose. It needs to be re-opened.

Tony Atlas is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Great guy
I get sick of all the people who missed out on pro wrestling, blaming Kevin Sullivan. Benoit’s best matches were in wcw when Sullivan was putting him over. I get that nobody will ever know what happened, and conspiracy theories are fun but Benoit killed his family then himself. Whether it was concussions or he just snapped, all the evidence proves he snapped. There’s not even a .5 percent chance Sullivan had anything to do with it and the saddest part is that people blame a guy who was probably very close with the whole Benoit family. Imagine if everyone in the internet was blaming u for the murder of your ex wife and friend years after you separated. If somebody did murder them, Tony’s theory is probably more accurate, heck it could have even been someone Nancy brought into their life which I doubt but if any of them were on drugs who knows. It’s sad but conspiracies regarding such an event are kind of disrespectful.

You have to think like the Murderer in this case. Too many fingers point to a different direction that the cops pointed to. Look at the crime scene photos from dark side of the ring, the paintings on the wall seem to be slightly moved by a person; not a door slamming shut!!!! The computer search history could have been a work/setup also. The murders Were planned pretty well, but always their is a clue/indicator to some sort of foul play(it just needs to be identified then processed) the cops never processed shit in this investigation

How can you remember everything so vividly when Chris never used the crossface on Daniel and it was just a rumour, if he'd used it then his son would've had a bruise on his face because Benoit was using it as a real move not a fake move for entertainment, also Daniel never had a broken neck his dad obviously did and I think Nancy had a broken back but he had no broken bones, I can't stand how people exaggerate and make things like this seem ten times worse when they don't have to do that, Chris murdered his wife and son and then killed himself, nonody has to do or say anything to make this story sound even more tragic and disgusting than it already is

I'm only watching this because Tony is an entertaining speaker. I can't stand this story and I would rather talk to a squirrel than someone who thinks Benoit is innocent.

I forgot, Tony is right. I always thought the only possible motive for Kevin Sullivan to kill Benoit, was solely because Sullivan lost his wife. Also Benoit took the book out of Sullivan's hands.(Benoit kept Kevin Sullivan from making potential of multiple millions of dollars in WWE during this century) Sullivan never had a job on the books or he never made a TV appearance for WWE while Benoit was in WWE. When Sullivan's contract was up with WCW in 2004, BENOIT WAS THE WWE CHAMPION.(untouchable at the time) Benoit had multiple years left in ring still when he died.

Just two things real quick. The first is, while I may not know all about this, what I DO know is, former referee Teddy Long said on youtube that Nancy Benoit wasn't always the easiest person to get along with. He recalled a night that she, Chris, & Teddy were at this place eating food when I think Chris reached for something on the table & Nancy either stabbed Chris's hand with a fork or came awful close to it, saying something like "I can be mean when I want to." Or something like that. I may of miss-worded this, but I think Teddy's version is still on youtube somewhere. Point being, if what he said was true, Nancy at times could be a real bitch to be around. And again, I'm saying IF its true. And two is, this is kinda in regards to the death of Nancy on wikipedia before the news came out. Right around this time I was thinking of a "angle" to work with my NWA tabletop wrestling game. So one morning while drinking my coffee I decided to recreate the Roddy Piper-Jimmy Snuka feud. The "angle" would call for Piper saying that Snuka had "murdered" that gal that later was mentioned that Snuka was to of done in. So the same morning I was drinking my coffee & coming up with the Piper-Snuka angle, I went to read the google news which I do every morning & IMAGINE MY SHOCK WHEN I READ WHERE SNUKA REALLY WAS BEING CHARGED WITH THE MURDER OF THAT GAL from back in the day!!! You can't make this stuff up. I dropped my cup of coffee & freaked out. It was like how the hell did I know about this BEFORE it was even announced? So needless to say, I dropped that angle cos it would've been in bad taste & I read up on the REAL one that was taking place. I even posted this on my wrestling forum too. My point being, it goes back to that wikipedia page when the news of Nancy being murdered found its way there, before anyone else knew about it. I know, crazy right? Go figure.
@Allan Cove, the fact that Sandra Toffoloni ( Nancy's sister) describes him as an agressive man with mental problems annoys me, while she describes Nancy as a good wife and mother. Well, I read an article in internet where it's witten that Kevin Sullivan told that Nancy stabbed him with a knife and spent 3 days in jail. Moreover, after Chris' death, his son David told the police that once Nancy hit Chris during an argument and he didn't react, just went out to have dinner with David. Unluckily the majority of people think that women are angel and men are evil, but I don't agree. I feel that Chris is innocent.
Please, write the link of that video about Teddy Long. I'd like to watch it.
@@dddddd7455 Ironically they seemed to of removed that shoot of Teddy Long from youtube. This is what I DO know. I know what I saw. I saw a youtube shoot interview with Teddy Long recounting an incident at what was a diner inside a hotel or perhaps it was on the road, but anyways, Teddy said, "So the three of us were at this table, (Nancy, Chris, & Teddy) And Chris reached for a pork chop that was on this plate, when Nancy either stabbed Chris's hand with a fork, or came awful damn close," though I can't remember which, but this was Teddy Long's account of what happened that night & saying that Nancy wasn't the easiest woman to get along with & that she really did in fact at times had a mean streak about herself. Now why this shoot was removed from youtube I have no idea. Maybe it was by the request of Nancy's family, who's to say? But as God as my witness, I know what I saw when I saw that shoot interview by Teddy Long. I mean how could I make that up in such detail unless I heard it from Teddy himself? Bummer I can't find it on youtube as I tried & nothing came up. The irony of it all is a bit strange. Just saying. Oh, & Happy New Year to you & yours!!!

Dan look at the photos of the Benoit Family Murder scene on the dark side of the ring. If I killed my wife and young son in a "24 hour spand" and then if I stayed in the house for 24 hours with the dead corpses of my family, I WOULD HAVE TORN EVERYTHING UP IN THE HOUSE OUT OF STRESS, BEZERKNESS, I WOULD HAVE THROWN EVERY DISH AND GLASS ALL OVER OUT OF STRESS. The crime scene photos of the Benoit house show hardly any destruction in the home. The crime scene photos of the BENOIT MURDERS were never released until 2019.
What does what you 'THINK' you might do in that circumstance matter whatsoever?
On point but there could be found two pictures where is all messed up, you can see everything on the floor, some clothes, sneakers, soda and beer cans, food leftovers etc... But later, on every published picture the damn house were clean.
