For me the most difficult part in English is pronunciation, when I hear a native English speaker, It seems to me as that person is speakng with his tongue back or with something inside his mouth

@@EnglishFluencyJourney I would support you, but we use R, not $.So they pay in casino R. And sorry, but I hate $ haha.Since I usually win from a small sum to big they turned on the long payment regime, so I have to wait for money for a long time. Pity 'cuz i have the rule not to play till I receive my payment. Funny, because Americans are able to speak about any other support beside money. Hahaha.

in brief: The video focuses on the pivotal role of pronunciation in attaining English fluency. Anna argues that improving pronunciation is crucial for learners at all levels, contributing significantly to overall fluency.
Key strategies for enhancing pronunciation include:
    1. **Listening and Imitating:** Utilizing native speaker content in shows, movies, or podcasts for practice.
    2. **Using Pronunciation Apps:** Leveraging technology for feedback and guidance.
    3. **Online Videos and Tutorials:** Accessing a wealth of free resources on platforms like RUclips.
    4. **Recording and Analyzing Oneself:** Self-assessment to identify and work on weaknesses.
    5. **Phonetic Exercises:** Understanding and practicing challenging sounds.
    6. **Tongue Twisters:** Fun and effective way to tackle difficult pronunciations.
    7. **Reading Aloud:** Improving flow and comfort with the language.
    8. **Singing Songs:** Enhancing rhythm and intonation.
    9. **Mirror Practice:** Visual feedback on mouth movements.
    10. **Speaking Slowly:** Starting slow to master pronunciation before increasing speed.
    11. **Shadowing Exercises:** Simultaneously repeating after a native speaker.
    12. **Focusing on Problematic Sounds:** Targeting specific pronunciation challenges.
    13. **Online Forums and Language Exchange:** Benefiting from feedback and interaction.
Anna highlights the benefits of these methods, such as improved listening skills, increased confidence, clearer communication, and better understanding of English nuances. She shares her personal success story and that of her mother, demonstrating the effectiveness of these techniques. The video also includes a promotion for Lingoda, an online language school, offering a special discount for viewers.
In summary, the video emphasizes that while pronunciation practice is vital, it should complement, not replace, grammar studies. Persistence and patience are key, with the assurance that grammar becomes more intuitive with improved pronunciation skills.gpt4

I can't agree with you more.
Like you said, for me, I've been listening to podcasts and pause and repeat.
It's really helpful to polish my pronunciation.
Although it takes time, I look up tricky words in the dictionary and check the pronunciation symbols.
Learning and understanding about pronunciation symbols in more detail is helpful as well.
Like you said, phonetic alphabet is a game changer. If you study about it, you could know why your pronunciation was awkward.
By the way, I am wondering what apps you recommend using for pronunciation.
You said that there's a whole bunch of pronunciation apps out there, but I don't know and I haven't seen them yet.
Could you recommend some apps for me?

You are very intelligent and very beautiful. Wish you a wonderful luck and successful stay in the U.S.A! Too much love to your Mother! I still remember when I taught my Mother for U.S. Citizenship and She became U.S. Citizen. I use to leave Her on grocery stores and let Herself deal with store employees. When you listen in a language, your brain changes when you sleep. Half education is when you sleep. Your brain changes its pathway and your personality changes too. Tell your Mother to engage with English speaking Americans as much she can.

English pronunciation is merely a part of English phonetics, but not any way of how to master the language.
If you want to learn and become fluent in English language, or any other human language, you will have to master its grammar system , including the parts of speech, sentence structure. There is no other way. But it is merely the first step for you to understand the language to use it to communicate with English speakers
Being fluent in the language doesn't mean being good at it because to be able to use it at higher levels of education, you will have to learn how to use it in critical thinking or creative writing and public speaking at college and university levels of education.
Human languages are always accompanied by cultures because a human language is a part of a culture. It means that if you want to understand English language profoundly, you will have to understand the culture of the country where the language originated in.. At this high level of mastering the language, you can understand the language contextually, but not merely accordingly to the language's dictionary - defined meanings. No English dictionary has contextual meanings, containing only basic and commonly used narrow meanings of words . A contextual meaning is
a meaning drawn from a particular social or political or economic or cultural context in everyday life, in a historical event, a professional activity and suchlike. Contextual meanings are what you will have to get by yourselves, which are expressed by your levels of understanding of such specific and different contexts. Hence, you will not be able to get such contextual meanings if your knowledge of the language and other subjects of study is not very good or profound.
GA phonetics is not any standard phonetics, having so many distorted sounds, such as the voiceless consonant t sound is pronounced as a quick tapping or flapping voiced consonant d sound, which makes it impossible for GA speakers to make any difference between such two different words, when pronouncing them, as atom and Adam, bottom and boredom, Maddy and Matty; The short low front vowel "a" is pronounced like the short middle front vowel "e" in such words as "and" , which is similarly pronounced to the pronunciation of "end", and "at" is pronounced like "et", and the long low back vowel |a:| in such word as "art" is distortedly pronounced with the short low front vowel a with the retroflex sound r as |ar|
The pronunciation of the retroflex r sound in every word which has it distorts all the vowels before it, while the qualities of vowels determine the qualities of an English accent, and affects the qualities of other sounds around it, making GA speakers sound rowdy. Additionally, the intonation is unnatural or boring with almost no change of pitch of sounds, or no falling pitch and rising pitch of sounds in sentences. All the sounds are pronounced at almost the same pitch and strength , which makes GA phonetics unattractive or boring
Your English pronunciation needs improving because at the very beginning of the video, it displays the distorted short low front vowel "a" | æ | as the short middle front vowel e in "channel" , which should be phonetically correctly pronounced as | t∫æ nl| , but not |t∫e nl|
