I'm an extremely queer, pretty damn autistic person- PLEASE ALWAYS CALL OUT PEOPLE ON THEIR BULLSHIT EVEN IF THEY HAVE AUTISM!!! So many people use their autism as an excuse to treat other people horribly without apology. It's not the same at all as someone who cannot identify immediately what they said was wrong and then is apologetic when they learn why it was wrong/hurtful. It is also not the same as someone who can't combine the thread between being autistic and behaving/interacting in a way not conducive to the environment (my cousin is like this, but I'm pretty sure he can't tell he's different in any way). Folks who pull out the "well, I'm autistic!" card when they essentially misbehave are horrendous and even more so the people who pull that card out FOR them.
Four months late to agree with you completely. As much as I try, I can and will miss things or accidentally hurt people because there's something I haven't accurately read, *but that doesn't lessen the damage.* I would always, always rather be called out so I can apologize and not do it again or fix my behavior then have others assume lack of malice means it's not fair for them to be hurt. Good intentions only matter so much. Furthermore, while I do think it's fair to explain why you did something wrong (I always prefer an apology that tells me why I was hurt to a 'sincere' apology that's just saying sorry), no explanation can truly absolve guilt for someone's pain.
❤thank you for your perspective. I agree that people use that label as an excuse to act like a-holes. I know at least 100 people with autism who have manners and know how to be polite and courteous. Everything takes practice. The people who act like jerks and blame a condition were raised by idiots with zero consequences, and likely a ton of entitlement.
answering like that is definitely why french ppl are mad at you lmao just say bonjour back and by the way you say it they will immediately know to switch to english
1:09:25 oh mine is pretty niche *goes on to talk about the thing every single person on the internet talked about that week* it was me, i felt silly immediately after, i was too focused on gianmarco's legs lmao
Im here to understand the salt and pepper due 😂😂 is it because they have matching esthetic or because they also look the same but with different tones? 🤔
Yeah I really appreciate Russ 50:17 like I’m autistic and it’s just another neurotype. Treat us like normal people because we are? Autistic adults can be assholes too and should be treated as such and held accountable. Ugh this conversation made me so uncomfortable and I’m glad Russ has some sense
And it’s just so weird because Giann Marco has ADHD and the two neurotypes are very similar and about 70% of autistic people are adhd too. Like you’re one of us? You and that guy in the crowd are both neurodivergent and have more in common neurologically than different. Really hate how even people with ADHD infantilize autistic adults.
I assumed his hesitation was partly also to do with being at a community centre and the show needing to be more family/kid/elder-friendly than a club show. Although I still don't think he couldn't clap back on the guy.. Maybe he just needs to prep some suitably non-offensive shutdown lines that won't get him in trouble with the venue if he needs to take out a heckle, homophobe/other dick..? But yeah, you can be ND and a shit person, or physically disabled (like me) and a dick, and it does noone any favours to patronise us if we're being wrong/hateful.
I love gianmarco talking about Judas saying, "He brought you a fourth gift." and me not immediately getting the reference going, didn't Judas GET 30 silver? and then realizing the wise men brought the three gifts. Love love love
12:45 okay when he stands up, the thighs. 🫠🥵🦵but also does anyone else ever think or have the realization that gianmarco is like this real life sexier version of Rasputin from the Anastasia cartoon like doing all those yoga bends in a chair? It’s wild.
Comic: I have this gay friend...
Audience Jerk: Eww!
Comic: Relax, you're not his type...
"Relax, you're not attractive to any of us and probably more people than that."

Idk these chairs don’t look comfy 😂 Gianmarco can’t even put his legs up 😮
It’s so nice to see Joel here! Big fan of him and ‘Fire Island’ was a gift to humanity.

Comic: Dad?!
As a homo that has gone through 3 religious experiences and didnt get why i couldn't be muself . Its really lovely to hear Joel's Senior year.
Omg I’m randomly up at 2am and this just dropped. Always fun to hear you live!
At the risk of embarrassment, and disregarding being an absolute nobody...I'd gladly answer all foot fetish related questions as an enthusiast
He could play a young Hugh Jackman …..who also studied musical theatre.
Comic: I have a gay friend
Heckler: Ew
Comic: that guy just got a nude from his mom
if you use the single use plastic as a raft, it ceases to be single use

love seeing joel!
Can’t hear the crowds answers :-(
Love a queer guest though 🏳️🌈
The clinical term for a person with a foot fetish is podophile.. reason enough to avoid feet.
😲🤭
Interesting!
Please invite Taylor Tomlinson as a guest!

@Imbatmn57 So like, two guys with similar hair, face, build, but maybe one's black and one's white?
perfect trio!
Listening to the theme during the walk in is so hype
Please do a show in Toronto.

There's no way Gianmarco isn't gay.
Wishful thinking. But a guy that confident/comfortable about his sexuality wouldn't likely hide it if he was.
Our loss but what can I say. We win some we lose some. Give and take
um, stand ups just need to stick to stand up..esp. when they are great stand ups like these three..watching people sit around and talk is boring.
