    Shelved bow - no khatra. Narrow handle - some khatra. Fat handle - LOTS of khatra. At least this is how I use khatra with my bows.

    There are more benefits to khatra: spine is not that important and arrow speed is faster, penetration deeper.

      That is certainly the case when if you don't know arrow spine but in modern times; knowing arrow spine is very easy.
      As far as penetration, both I and others have done videos testing this, and the penetration effect is minimal or nonexistent in most cases when comparing khatra vs. no khatra.
      When it's been speed tested, it may add less than 5 to 10 extra fps, which is also minimal.
      It does have benefits though. I would certainly agree on that

    I don't think I've ever done kahtra

    What if you shoot med fingers? Are you still able to shoot kahtra? I tried shooting thumb release but my fingers are short and a little twisted & deformed from martial arts. That or I just need someone to teach me in person.
