Oh goodness, Vinted! I fell down a Cath Kidston rabbit hole last week and now have SEVEN very usable bags of all sizes (all like new and designs that I coveted back in the day) for less than one would have been new! I really miss these stores that have disappeared - hope Wilko can be saved 🤞🏻

Mr. Carrington's face when looking at the kittens is just adorable. You sure have become a fabulous cat daddy ❤.
I'm quite a bit of a window peeker. But just because i love to see the sky, birds and trees. I live in a small village and on the back side of the flat there are fields so I watch people walking their dogs, sometimes whith my cats 😂. On the front side there are buildings but they are quite apart, because my building has a little garden and the buildings on the opposite side of the street also have a garden and a small playground, so i have a wide view. Only a few cars pass by, its a one way street so its not very busy and there is hardly anyone walking by, specially now with this heat.
As always lovely finds, you were lucky to get the new basket to match the one you already have.
I hope you will soon let us see the new bathroom and kitchen makeover. I'm sure they will be wonderful!
I always love seeing the kitties! And, the ottoman makes the purrrfect bed. The "new" swimming trunks are nice. I love the tropical prints. I can't wait to see the new paint in the kitchen.😊
Morning Mr C. Happy Sunday! The weather down here in Devon has been horrible - lots of rain and grey skies and simultaneously very muggy and hot. I went to Cornwall for the weekend last weekend and on Sunday morning we had blue skies, it was lovely, so we decided to go for a morning swim in the outdoor pool - within 5 minutes of getting in the heavens opened up; we just carried on swimming as we were wet anyway! 😂
A Man Called Otto is good and so is the book it's based on, "Ove". The silk scarf is beautiful and will make a lovely gift. The plaid shirt is good looking.
The weather is the same here in Exeter . So much rain and cool temperatures . ❤
You find the coolest things on the street--that little shelf unit is perfect. It's raining here today, too and I do love a rainy day to enjoy your videos. My cat used to retrieve, her favorite ball, too, and then one day when she was six months old she gave me a look--essentially, "you threw it; you pick it up"--and never did it again!
I liked the second pair of board shorts the best!

hahaha we have a nosey neighbour in our street called Mourene, when i see her coming, i think , oh no,il b kept talking 4 ages! i once saw her in town, and she some how ended up getting me to carry all her shopping home 4 her lol .

Here in Bethlehem PA we are suffering the curse of Musicfest! A lot of rain. We had tornado warning this week as well. Woke up at 1 to really scary thunder and lightning for hours! So glad today is the last day!😊

Love the little lamp, in the corner, with the white light....very classy looking. I usually shop on Ebay but after seeing your bargains, i will be on vinted next. That little bamboo table is perfect. Our two lady cats love the baskets and boxes too, even both very different , one is very reserved and the other into mischief all the time. They are both getting closer, but i still think our tom cats were more loving... These are surprising us every day though.😻😸

Allo Iwan, many thinks for this Vlog today, always a treat. Love the F&M basket, and the swimming shorts are great. The shirt a nice autumn colour too! Sadly Wilkos will be no longer, if you look on their site, you will see a farewell letter from the CEO and also no online shopping with no deliveries or collect either. Amazing to think no more Wilkos soon, not sure how long the stores will remain open, but I hope to get down to my local one this coming week sometime and stock up on some of my usual stuff I buy from them. Have a good week to come x

You can never go wrong with a F&M hamper and such a wonderful price!! The weather here is South West Scotland has been almost the same as London (surprising as that sounds) but today (Tuesday) has been glorious!!!

Here in the US northeast we have had way too many rainy days this summer. Such a disappointment! So funny because last year we were in a drought and we prayed for rain! 😂

Hi Iwan thank you for the video. Pumpkin has such good taste in beds. The two F & M baskets together look fab, how lovely would it be if you found one a little smaller to make up a trio. Can't wait to see your kitchen makeover, looking at the sneak preview its going to be perfect. Your paint choice looks ideal for the shelves. Love the idea of storage jars for leftover paint. Might be a good idea to buy a small rubber spatula to scrape the last drops of paint from the tin into the jar. So pleased you found another checked shirt, the deep pink one looks so good on you plus the second one you bought is your colour. Take care Gale x

Next time you go on holiday I would like to see you going around looking for stray cats in the area and feeding them and leaving water out for them that would be a lovely thing to do as so many wee cats and dogs abroad suffer so much.

Bit late to this one Mr C. Spent a glorious day in the sunshine yesterday in the capital. We usually drive from Bedfordshire but yesterday we took the train and tube. The South Bank was glorious. Love your F & M basket. Really nice Starbucks mug. Pumpkin really has claimed the footstool and I don’t think he is gonna share it with anyone. Lol! If you are going to go on a short vacation to get out of the humidity and heat, you really don’t want to come to the United States. It’s like hot and humid in almost every state here. Some states have temps over 100°F. You know my air conditioner is working double time here on the southeast coast of Florida. It’s also hurricane season so, you might want to look for someplace like New Zealand that might still have a lot of snow on the tops of the mountain region. Hope you have a nice week. I just wanted to let you know that the table you a placing in your bathroom should be water proof.
You can get a " water proofer " in a spray can in any home improvement store or even in a handcraft improvement store. Otherwise the wood will rott away with the humidity.
I thought I'd been here with you for a very long time, but I did not know you had been to Chengdu!!! My daughter lived and taught there for a year, 15+ years ago now. I am going to go and look those up and I'm sure I will very much enjoy them! And I will be sure to share them with my daughter. I really enjoyed today's haul; collecting Fortnum & Mason's baskets is quite fabulous!

Modern Rarity is a John Lewis brand and I thought the scarf was beautiful. The F&M hamper was cute too. I havent had a good rummage in a charity shop for months.
Like you, I hope Wilko doesnt disappear, I have bought several things from there over the years.
I have three cats,the youngest is Milo. She thinks she’s a dog. Scratches at the door to go out,scratches to come back in. Comes when I call her,unlike the other cat that just judges us. The other day my daughter was making supper. Milo was sniffing the air,lol. I told her to “go ask Alicia for some chicken.”That darn cat jumped off the coffee table and walked to the kitchen and meowed for some chicken. I think cats are incredibly intelligent.

Love seeing your charity shop finds. Over the last year ive come to love going to the charity shop & finding stuff for so much cheaper than the original shop would do it for. I also love vinted too, selling & buying. A great way to also find items 😊

I'm guessing it's Luke; but on second thought; he crafty as well.🤷🏽♀️ When said Dune it reminded me of the Dune perfume for women by Parfums Christian Dior, introduced in 1991. There was a men's version as well. Did you ever hear of this Dior fragrance? I use to love it.

That is a gorgeous scarf. I would be happy to get that as a gift! Always like F&M baskets. Wish we had a similar store here. Swimming trunks nice too. I like the last aqua pair best. I would LOVE rainy days. Scortching sun 95 everyday. We had to buy a new much larger AC to be comfortable. We don't have a hint of Fall til October. Live in FL panhandle. A brutal Summer 😢. Kittens so adorable.
