This is happening to me right now. At 14 weeks (8/10/23), my water broke. I lost all amniotic fluid. The doctors called me in to abort my baby, and gave my husband and I all the horrible detail of what would and could happen to both me and baby. After the ultra sound, and seeing and hearing her little heart beat like it should, there was no way we were going to abort her! They sent me back home for "nature to take its course", refused to put me on bed rest, and denied me any antibiotic and/or steroids. They told me I would go into labor in about 12-48 hours. Fast forward...I'm now 16 weeks today (8/22/2023). I have yet to go into labor. I have a desk job, so I sit down all day. When my water broke, it gushed all at once! The doctors think it had to be a large hole bc of the sudden and huge gush. I drink plenty of water, and as fast as any amniotic fluid replenishes, it leaks out slowly. No matter what, I know with every fiber of my being that God's (Jesus Christ's dad) gonna take care of us both! I won't go into labor until He says the viable time is right! If I remember, I'll update this in about 5 months after I've had her, Lord willing ❤
Hang in there. I ruptured at 12 weeks, same thing they wouldn’t do anything for either of us or even really talk about the future at first. I’m now two days short of 20 weeks and gearing up to go into the hospital at 22 weeks for the rest of the pregnancy. Miracles do happen!
@briannadetwiler6618 I'm currently in the hospital. They wouldn't take me before 23 weeks. I'm relaxing amd taking it easy until the remainder of my pregnancy. Today, I'm 24 + 6!!!! I hope the very best for you and yours!!! Ik God still works miracles

Many people will be surprised at the amount of women who struggle through pregnancy from conception to the end. It is vital to be around people who are supportive and kind during this time as well as being kind to self. Happy belated birthday to our little princess and may the most high continue to uplift and bless Jamelia and her family.
Thank you for sharing! That was emotional! I can only imagine how scary that must have been. I recently gave birth 18 weeks ago, and I was worried the whole pregnancy with the 'what ifs' due to my age! I did not go through half of what you did, but by you telling your story, I felt very lucky and blessed! Children are such a blessing and a lot of us take pregnancy for granted!
Thank you for sharing! This gives me hope! I pprom'd 1 week ago at 19w2d. I thoughtmy pregnancy was going perfectly. I am currently in the hospital for the next two days being monitored. Like you said many emotions but I am keeping positive and patiently waiting for my beautiful baby boy! Thank you again for sharing your story, I never heard of this until i started researching when it happened to me.
Hi Jem, your story had me in tears tbh. I've never heard of this condition in pregnancy (p-prom?) and can only imagine how difficult and draining such an experience must of been at the time. Wow, your honesty and positivity is inspiring. Thank you for sharing. Your daughter 'True' is definitely another blessing and nothing short of a miracle. Oh, wish her a happy birthday too xx
I am 21 weeks today and found that I have PPROM few days ago. Earlier today I was trying to give up, but when I heard from the doctor that my baby girl is fine and normal it made me decide to fight for her. I can feel her moving and the heartbeat’s totally fine. Her amniotic level is around 4cm and I am fully decided to fight for her every single day. Thanks for sharing this! I believe I will share my testimonies like this soon!

Where you diagnosed with oligohydramnios? Basically low amniotic fluid due to PPROM. Every doctor I have been dealing with tell me the babies demise inevitable.
