Hi Robin, how wonderful to know you made this doily. I do have many doily patterns that I designed in my Etsy and Ravelry shops, perhaps I'll make more doily tutorials in the future.
Hi Heather! I"m so happy to hear you made it! Thank you for letting me know! If you are on instagram and have a picture, you can tag me olgapoltavacrochet and that way I'll be able to see your doily! Happy crocheting!
Thank you Olga! I just completed my first project with thread! I found the 1.5 mm hook too small for me, but was able to finish the project with a 1.8 hook. Cannot wait to try something else!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've been crocheting for almost a year now and wanted to try making a doily. I just finished this one and it turned out great.
Hi Mai! Wow, congrats on starting crocheting! My goodness, now you'll be hooked on it for the rest of your life, which is a great thing, of course! Happy crocheting! ♥️
@@OlgaPoltava Here is the picture of the finished product imgur.com/a/nBnL9yr It took me really long haha, 3 nights, but I'm glad I made it (even with mistakes here and there). Thanks again!
This was an amazing tutorial! It was my first ever lace crochet and first ever doily and you did a perfect job explaining as you worked! It was super easy to follow and the outcome is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to make more!
Hi Angela, sorry I missed your comment somehow. I'm so glad to hear you completed your first doily from my tutorial! I plan to add a few more doily tutorials to my channel!
Please let me know after finishing the 10th row how can I extend and make it bigger by 3 times I want to extend by 20 more rows Please guide me for this
Hi, I"m sorry I missed your comment. Yes, blocking is exactly that. I usually soak my finished doily in water, then squeeze it, and lay flat on a towel, straightening and stretching it to a perfect round shape. Then I leave it to dry.
Hi! You work your stitches directly into the ring (not into chains), and that way all 24 stitches will fit in. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions!
I am confused as I am watching your video and printed off the instructions but in the directions you are doing double crochets and in the video it is treble stitch. Which pattern is correct?
In Only America do we call double crochet, well, double crochet......but for example for people who live in Europe, they call double crochet, treble crochet
Thank you. Mine turned out beautifully. I love doilies...they are really works of art.
Thank you so much olga
Your instructions was so easy to follow without making any error on my part.
Thank you, for your video. I appreciate how you display the stitches, at the top of screen! Very easy to follow, for us beginner doily crocheters.

Please let me know after finishing the 10th row how can I extend and make it bigger by 3 times
I want to extend by 20 more rows
Please guide me for this
I'm afraid you would have to choose a different pattern for a larger doily.
What do u mean blocking on the last part? How to flatten your word and eliminate all the waves
Hi, I"m sorry I missed your comment. Yes, blocking is exactly that. I usually soak my finished doily in water, then squeeze it, and lay flat on a towel, straightening and stretching it to a perfect round shape. Then I leave it to dry.
I want to make doillies for my dressing table. In easy way. As I am biginer
Hi i have just started doing this doily. I wanted to know in the round 1 you did 24 dc but there are only 9 chains how did you do that
Hi! You work your stitches directly into the ring (not into chains), and that way all 24 stitches will fit in.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions!
@@OlgaPoltava thank you so much! I'll definitely try this again now
I am confused as I am watching your video and printed off the instructions but in the directions you are doing double crochets and in the video it is treble stitch. Which pattern is correct?
Hi Karen, double crochets in Rounds 1, 2, 5, and 10; treble crochets in Rounds 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
I hope this helps!

Hi.can we use 2.00 mm crochet needle??
Yes, you can work with whatever hook is most comfortable for you. You can even use thicker thread.
