I've seen some of those restaurant out here in Orlando. I think that video from the Uber eats driver was from Dollins food kitchen. There's like 30 restaurants in 1 address, most serve specific hours, some are advertised open on the site but whenever you go place an order the site says not accepting orders for that restaurant or it's closed down. There's a Chinese place called Bentos but it also had 10 to 20 Asian restaurants in one place as well
The Chuck E. Cheese I used to work at had a ghost kitchen running out of it called Pasqually's. It was basically just Chuck E. Edit: whelp, there go my chances of getting rehired lol
Yes the ghost kitchens can get pretty bad, I've worked in kitchens for many years and one of the kitchens I worked in we actually tested to sell some of our items in a ghost kitchen. We did not sell our entire menu there because they would have needed access to our proprietary recipes. Those particular menu items that called for special recipes we did not sell their because we could not allow them access to it. And there are some small mom and pop kitchens that will utilize it to help get their name out there. Though as you can see it can be a problem overall. But if it's used correctly it can actually help kitchens to expand without having to put up their own capital for a kitchen.
@@wildmoose3979unfortunately my good for nothing useless lame and spineless excuse of a “country” has ghost kitchens or dark kitchens as they are appropriately called (I unfortunately live in the UK)
People act like this hasn't been happening for decades. My mom use to work in a sewing factory and they made jeans for all sorts of companies. The highland milk bottleing factory bottles for all the milk companies.
Most factories are like this. There are very few companies that make their own factories. It's why companies like in and out and mcdonalds have such distinct tastes but pretty much any other burger tastes the same. Same with clothes, electronics etc. It's why name brands are stupid in most cases
Y'know, didn't Mr Beast just this same year have a controversy where he went to the Ghost Kitchen place that set up his kitchens and complain at them over the quality of his Beast Burgers being inconsistent from place to place? And they told him to go shove himself because they control Mr Beast Burgers?
Ghost kitchens always seemed fundamentally flawed idea. To give an example, McDonald's has a burger academy to teach the workers how to make consistent products. Who was going to establish Beast's academy, and who was going to pay another company's employees to attend? And if the restaurant is actually several ghost kitchens? How many menu items are the workers supposed to memorize?
When he says "wild west of food" he means how wildly unregulated and how little quality control there is. We've had actual enforced standards for food for over a hundred years and these places completely sidestep all that in a manner that everyone living has never really known in this country.
I ordered form a Chipotle in my area. About two weeks later, I tried a similar meal from Qdoba. The only difference between them was literally just a stamp on the box for the logo.
And I bet you every single one of those 44 restaurants is counted as a "new business" when the government does it reports about how great the economy is. Even though it's all actually 1 restaurant.
I would've said "It's stupid that a large company is pretending to be a small business when I've never seen a small business that didn't have more outrageous prices that bigger companies" until I remembered that the bias of people towards larger companies would be the only reason they might give the smaller name with the same food a chance because some people's ignorance and pride would lead them to be the biggest clown of the day.
i'm glad i live in a town instead of a city, yeah we still have our fast foods, but there are always the mom and pops restraunts that have recognizable names and signs basically "nobody would try this in a small town"

Either it’s a blank kitchen that has maybe 20 something “restaurants” across several apps Or The chain restaurants (Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Dennys etc) aren’t getting enough online orders in that area, so they create several fake restaurants on apps to boost their numbers, but you’re still just ordering food from an Applebees kitchen when you didn’t want Applebees Both are basically tricking people into ordering food from places that don’t really exist It’s like alt accounts but for restaurants, which is super weird

Step 1: Produce food in a warehouse and drive real restaurants out of business. Step 2: Deliver all the food. Step 3: Reduce menu to Soylent Green. Stay in your pod and wish you could get some real bugs.

If ghost kitchens shutting down mom and pop stores upsets you, you must be pissed at and not support places like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Dollar General, McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, and every other corporate chains that do that and take that money out of the community.
Cheese food but significantly cheaper as well as having some other things. As employees, we could order from the Pasqually's menu. The meatball dunkers were so fucking good tho ngl.
Edit: whelp, there go my chances of getting rehired lol
I remember this
I Think That's What Kickstarted This. They Did It When They Had To Shut Down Due To COVID
Man that Tommy Innit clip makes me so uncomfortable, that is just wild.
It's like when someone insults your mother. DanTDM raised a generation. These new youtubers best mind their elders.
In my country there is no such thing as a "ghost kichen".
Congratulations you don't live in a corporate hellscape like most americans
yet...
How is your oil situation?
@@wildmoose3979unfortunately my good for nothing useless lame and spineless excuse of a “country” has ghost kitchens or dark kitchens as they are appropriately called (I unfortunately live in the UK)
Does your country have the capacity to grow tea?
I can’t wait to see Nux’s reaction to the lawsuit against MrBeast and Amazon
People act like this hasn't been happening for decades. My mom use to work in a sewing factory and they made jeans for all sorts of companies. The highland milk bottleing factory bottles for all the milk companies.
Most factories are like this. There are very few companies that make their own factories. It's why companies like in and out and mcdonalds have such distinct tastes but pretty much any other burger tastes the same. Same with clothes, electronics etc. It's why name brands are stupid in most cases
"Grandpa Luis Armstrong". Full Metal Alchemist fan much?
Me too...
Me too
1 youtuber order 2 chickens sandwitch from these kitchens and got raw chicken. in one of them. and if i remember correctly it was MR.BEAST BURGERS,
The idea of ghosts kitchens is nice but there's some problems with it
Y'know, didn't Mr Beast just this same year have a controversy where he went to the Ghost Kitchen place that set up his kitchens and complain at them over the quality of his Beast Burgers being inconsistent from place to place?
One more comment so you're more likely to see: the Three Stooges, I mean Lunchly owners, shot back at DanTDM and got destroyed
I would've said "It's stupid that a large company is pretending to be a small business when I've never seen a small business that didn't have more outrageous prices that bigger companies" until I remembered that the bias of people towards larger companies would be the only reason they might give the smaller name with the same food a chance because some people's ignorance and pride would lead them to be the biggest clown of the day.
i'm glad i live in a town instead of a city, yeah we still have our fast foods, but there are always the mom and pops restraunts that have recognizable names and signs
basically "nobody would try this in a small town"
After I start my new ghost kitchen, one of my ‘restaurants’ will be Pants at the Soup Store
New title “JADEN AND I OPENED A CHICKEN SOUP KITCHEN”
The dystopia is strong, enough to almost make a man want isekai.
26:53 ah yes, the famed lineage of Armstrong-Goldberg Chicken soup 😂
Why do I want their to be a can with a man wearing a kilt and yarmulke so bad🤣
Saw the thumbnail, thought it was Man Carrying Things.
Speaking of ghost restaurants, when's Nux gonna release his autobiography with blank pages?!?!?
I had a buddy whose place sold ghost kitchen stuff, the "celebrity's" cookies were literally just the same bakers source, culinary secrets, brickfire bakery etc house brand cookie you'll get from sysco, reinhardt, PFG, snd us foods in a different wrapper 😂
MrBeast responding to the criticism of his new money printing machine before addressing any of the serious allegations against him really shows where his priorities are.
When he says the biggest real-estate company is Starbucks, the real fact is their stockholders are the biggest real-estate investors. Blackrock, vanguard, Morgan stanley, state street and geode are all involved in that.
So glad we could all be in this video together!
Mr. Beast is taking notes from disney in the hiting department
Every single thing you said about Chinese food is 100% correct and the people that don't like it are just plain wrong.
Either it’s a blank kitchen that has maybe 20 something “restaurants” across several apps
Or
The chain restaurants (Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Dennys etc) aren’t getting enough online orders in that area, so they create several fake restaurants on apps to boost their numbers, but you’re still just ordering food from an Applebees kitchen when you didn’t want Applebees
Both are basically tricking people into ordering food from places that don’t really exist
It’s like alt accounts but for restaurants, which is super weird
Honestly wouldnt mind that if Applebee's didn't offer steak for example but not Applebee's but from Applebee's does. It's the Lil shit shacks that are scary.
Damn Jaiden and Nux are putting in the work. Can't wait to see what sort of LORE or rabbit hole you both go down to together. However, no offense meant, maybe you should reduce Jaiden's volume down a bit, it's hard to hear you Nux.
Another reason to add to why I do not care or use food delivery apps (main reason is price) and now it feels nice some
Places are scams
First time i saw MrBeast i didn't like him, he felt off to me and creeped me out so i never watched any of his content. Right now i watching Nux reaction years after to see how right i was about him.
Unfortunately i have picked up food from a ghost kitchen when beast burgers first dropped. Waited 2 1/2 hours for my food and door dashers just camped out at the location
This is market manipulation, inflating supply and removing competition, it's also monopolisation
Looks like the virtual kitchen is more like a food court slash office space
Step 1: Produce food in a warehouse and drive real restaurants out of business. Step 2: Deliver all the food. Step 3: Reduce menu to Soylent Green. Stay in your pod and wish you could get some real bugs.
Mmm Soylent green
If a ghost kitchen can afford to have the licenses for 44 restaurants in 1 spot, just higher a cleaning company and have them focus on keeping the place clean that way the cooks can focus on cooking issues,
34:16 that got me, dude 😂
"Jaiden and I opened a soup store"
I'm used to the parasocial jokes with Jaiden, but that one, for some reason just made me laugh
Remember the Sylvester Stallone movie Demolition Man where Taco Bell won the fast food wars and it was like a 5 star Michelin rated restaurant I think this is what's happening
This is why I stay local when I eatout or order out I always make sure I know where it's coming from
Ghost kitchens...
I heard glowing reviews...
Was that an intentional pun?😅
Bro, Mr. Beast, KSI, and Logan Paul just started going after Dan TDM. It's not worth a video, but it's fun to look into.
So theoretically an actual burger restaurant handed down to somebody by their father before he died, could just open 20 fake burger restaurants all from his same location and do the exact same thing
Imagine the next YT Intro "Chesticles, testicles, Jaiden and I!"
Every single time Nux says "Jaiden and I/me and Jaiden", I chuckle
Nux needs to do a full "how to create a thumbnail video" because that was actually good.
“There is no such thing as not being in the mood for Chinese food” ah my Jewish brother
That is why I only buy from restaurants that I have gone to the physical store
i love the description. Then he did a collab whit Logan Paul and ksi
Interesting. In Europe they disclose its a virtual kitchen on the apps like Wolt and Bolt
Yeah, this was the one thing I could actually defend Beast on, cuz it's actually a deal he wanted to get out of. Even Matpat commented on this, saying he likely took the contract not knowing full well what he got into.
And when I mean "defend," I'm pretty much saying this is like the 1 thing Beast shouldn't get too much hate over. We have way too many allegations to focus on now to be going over a bad business decision. Unless there's something I just drastically missed but I watched this vid when it came out so idk.
Jimmy didn't care until Eddie's video came out. That's what I remember, at least.
There's a MrBeast Burger 15 minutes away from me. Its just a sports Bar that sells that stuff.
Ned Flanders really is sticking up for the worker
i actually think that mr beast burger is making kids stronger, not because it’s healthy, but because it’s exposing them to diseases early so they build a resistance fr
Ghost kitchens: *concept exists for ages*
This guy and Nux: *surprised Pikachu face*
What a terrible thing, 1 food processing place with 100 restaurant names. Pushing over-priced food, slowly taking away variety.
You know what, I'd genuinely order food from a Nux-styled restaurant
If I a nickel for every time Mr. Beast had a PDF file working for him, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
