Yeah he didn't use hyperview on the GoPro, but yeah GoPro picture better in the shadows ...still, and the mic in this example is much better on the GoPro also, can't wait for the GoPro mini myself!
@@cyber8019 I'll wait for actual tests on the low light, everyone thought the GoPro was using the same sensor size as the 10 but it's bigger so we'll see
@@ugpfpv361 There's actually a comparison video on another channel that shows DJI is better on the low light than Gopro Hero 11. I think it's called Potato Jet channel.
@@cyber8019 oh yeah potato I watch him, I'll check it out, in the end, for me as an FPV pilot it comes down to image quality, which GoPro is still the leader in action cams, but better low light is also a plus.
Dynamic range does seem a bit disappointing in comparison on the DJI. The audio difference seems more stark, but even then perhaps not so much as the price difference.
Yes GoPro mic sounds much better in this example, also picture shadows better in GoPro, not to mention with it being 10bit now... With protune and color grading, you'll be able to get even more out of the GoPro picture!
@@ugpfpv361 Don't bet your money on it. It's a software problem, Gopro software team is not as good as DJI software team. DJI Action 1 did not have any overheating or crashing problem as Gopro Hero. lets be honest.. they are walking around.. any 2022 action cam would do very well.. nobody stresses the cameras here.. the advantage gopro has image wise i can create in post with a click of a button.. i think there are no bad action kameras.. they only thing is.. if dji says it works then it works.. if gopro says it works some of it wil work and some will be fixed down the line...
gopro seems sharper, has more detail, better HDR (see clouds). osmo has lots of great features that gopro doesn't but if you're just looking at image quality gopro wins.
GoPro was always going to be sharper given the resolution and the fact its lens has has a less wide angle - so you're right there. The wider angle of the Osmo will come in handy in some situations, though. That said, for vlogging, GoPro is the clear winner.
The Osmo Action is excellent value for money, especially in the Adventure Combo. It really does depend on what you want from your phone. If you're going to be shooting expansive landscapes, DJI goes wider, costs less, and lasts longer. If you'll be vlogging, pick up the GoPro Creator's Edition with the Volta and Media Mod and you'll be spending more, but getting better results. Neither are great in lowlight.
@@techeditotg I don't care about cost and the batteries in the Adventure combo. I need to have the best on the market so I can mix the footage with my 6K mirrorless camera and drone footage. I bought the GP11 and love it. Still sucks in lowlight, but I figured it would. Hope it does well with the tropical heat here in Florida because the GP10 would would shut off after 10 minutes or so in the hot sun. The 10 bit really is noticeable and I already used it for a music video mounting it inside a car for a scene and the artist was blown away by the image quality. Happy shooting.
@@janhvizdos Action cams are terrible for vloging. Terrible low light and audio and you have to rig them up with a good mic. I would go with an APSC sensor mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses so you can get yourself a nice bright f1.2 or f1.4 lens. It will also make your face look better and you have way more control on your lighting situation.
the gopro is raising the sound, you can hear at 1:09 the gopro has more ambient sound, and the dji reduces the background sound. you can just adjust in post the dji to the gopro level or vice versa. none is "better" than the other. yes straight out of standard profile the gopro footage looks better, but again the dji has dcinelike and can easily be adjusted.
Great comparison! Long shots like this are great for having time to compare all the details.
That’s very true, and good narration/explanation helps too 😃
I love the osmo action due what deliver with the price point, but this Dinamic Range on the Gopro is the seeling point for me.
Osmo got better field of view but GoPro got better details & dynamic range with best stabilization

osmo sound quality is good 👍, gopro picture quality is good 👍 greetings from surabaya indonesia 🙏
Both have some drawbacks, GoPro 11 still has that heating issue and DJI is lacking with controlling dynamic range, clouds are over exposed in dji

not a fair comparation. Put them on the same view angle
