This fight gets my heart pumping even almost a decade later. I remember I yelled out when me and my guild beat the Lich King.

I not feel good, I don't think this should be the way of killing Arthas, he is a great character and have a lot of charisma. In my opnion, he died in the wrong time, and the cinematic aren't good enough for his death.

I agree completely. Maybe not the best, but it was the perfect place to bring things to a close. All things had come full circle, and it seemed right to end it there.

The guy is Bolvar. I am not sure if you have done ALL quests in this expansion but there is a quest which leads to the video where dragon comes and burns everyone with its fire, this bolvar guy is thee one that gets burnt there. He plays a good amount of role in the lore and things leading to that place.
why does it bother me that Arthas is the only main expac villian to actually kill us.

O que posso dizer é que na minha opinião Arthas Menethil/Lich King ... pra mim é o melhor personagem desse universo , o cara é simplesmente lendário demais , Gostaria de ver o Lich king sempre.... pra mim WOW morreeu com Arthas ,,,, a Blizz achou que ia ser épico e corajoso estragar esse personagem , sem saber do ouro que eles tem na mão ,,, dane-se a Silvannas , Bolvar , Anduin , Uther e seja mais quem for .... Arthas é a essencia desse universo !

In ice crown, Ice crown citadel. One hell of a raid.
Blizzard should of gave The Lich King 1.1 Million Health. And 40% more powerful attacks than he had. Also with a 60% resistance to all magic attacks. Plus his armor rating should of been 50% more powerful. And the raid decreased to 15 people. Also with the ability to summon up to 5 Elite level 82 Death Knights, since the 80 was the level cap in Wrath Of The Lich King, and also some Elite level 85 Scourge Dragons. I know it sounds OP but this was my favorite expansion pack and I think Arthas should return , or possibly Bolvard. Some people thinks he will come back to fight The Burning Legion, but I think that The Shards Of Frostmourne should be restored and a new, more powerful Lich King takes over. And attacks Azeroth.

Well health wise they buffed LK to living hell lol , did the math and using average health of 40k per person very well geared and as i remember the non stat squished LK was around 110M or something on 25 heroic, keep in mind he was the first boss to reach such a pinnacle no other boss had a M and so that means he had around 2750 time more hp then players.
To put the health comparison in modern ex pack Legion terms that's like if we fought a boss with over 6500M and if vanilla players faced a 12300k boss, think he probably was one of the most insane health bosses ever lol so im happy they at least gave him that lol, and a cool cut scene that never stops being epic.

I never played WOW, but I know it's lore, and as someone who grew up playing WC3 I feel that WOW completely destroyed the Warcraft universe

The Lich King is the Scourge its self (practically) similar to the Queen of Blades being the Swarm without the leader there is no army.

WoW at it's pinnacle... absolutely nothing touched this game in my opinion.. It's just a shame they killed 2 of the iconic characters in their first 2 expansions.. Illidan and Arthas. Hopefully this next expansion can rekindle the love I had for this game during BC/WotLK

Arthas shoulda stabbed every single one of them while they were still down and make a run for it to his minions to take on fordrion after he breaks free. Old ppl are always scary.

I've only played a 1 week trial a long time ago. But raids look so bad. Just a bunch of bright lights and explosions. Do you just spam your favourite skills and hope the boss dies? Doesn't seem amazingly fun. And from the 1 week I played, the quests are recycled. "Go kill some boars and pick up their hides" is pretty much all the quests I did. And occasionally deliver something to someone.

The fire guy is Bolvar Fordragon, who was killed in battle at one of the citadel's gates. The other guy was obviously the old Lich King.
Turd Ferguson you two have obviously not played the other Warcraft games. The old man was Prince Arthas' father, the king, whom he killed shortly after taking up Frostmourne. Arthas used to be a Paladin before he retrieved the cursed blade that lead him to become the Lich King.
