We also visit the more modern side of Karachi and exlore one of their huge malls.

The sand is this color cause there was an oil tank spill few years ago near the beach and all the spilled oil eventually came to beach via water. Hence the metallic color and shine
No!! this sand color is because of river Indus flowing near Karachi. Actually this is not sand this is mud, the river Indus is flowing from thousands of years carrying mountain sand from the north and depositing it in the coast line. If you go to manora see there is yellow sand even port is close to manora where oil spill happen but still sand is yellow there but if you go to more and more eastern side of Karachi the sand is black muddy because of the river Indus

@@AshAndDan. Or maybe it's Javeria's version too, cause I have seen mud/sand on the sides of river indus in the north and it's the same color sand on the beaches. If you visit skardu, you'll know

It's better in the afternoon,been down there in the morning and the afternoon, afternoon so much more activity. Your bringing back memories for me was there in Feb/Mar 24 love Pakistan been 5 times,planning again but this time up North, Burns road food street is fantastic but usually after 9pm is when it really gets going
5 times?! That’s amazing! The northern parts are some of the best nature and landscapes we have ever seen! You’ll honestly love it! Head to Skardu 👍 that was our favourite.

We don't have a beach culture in Karachi. People go to the seas in the summers, when it's really hot. But the sea is most dangerous in that season.
Clifton beach is over exploited and overly commercial. Further out, Hawke's Bay and Sandspit are much nicer and quieter.
If we had more time we would have enjoyed to visit some other beaches but sadly we ran out of time, there was too much to do and see in Karachi!

Very interesting vlog. Sadly the clifton beach has been turned into a dump by some people. There are many other good beaches next to it which are very clean and well maintained. Clifton is a shocker. Nevertheless an experience to remember.
Yes, we had to visit purely for the experience as we heard about it before we arrived in Pakistan! It was fun but if we had more time we would have visited other beaches for sure 👍

So tell me what would you recommend Pakistanis do to make it more attractive for tourists, especially Western tourists?.Be honest please. I have lived in the US for the past few decades and I know very well the shortcomings of my city/ country but would really appreciate your input.
I think it’s difficult for us to say. I suppose Pakistan isn’t really marketed as a foreign tourist destination just yet which they maybe need to invest more into this. Certainly I do think more tourists are visiting Pakistan with the help of large RUclips accounts showing what this country has to offer ❤️

Such a shame how dirty the beach is with all the litter. Karachi overall is dirty. Some nice areas. Islamabad is the only city I can live in.

I think we had to visit Clifton due to hearing so much about it, we expected it to be more hectic but it was relatively calm experience 😂 we would have liked to visit more of Karachi but ran out of time
Should have told you a kot of scammers on the beach, be careful and enjoy your time at the beach. The rest of karachi is amazing

Haha we had to experience famous Clifton beach for ourselves, but it was a very calm trip. No crazy scammers! We didn’t hear about French beach until we had left Karachi but the real treat in our opinion is the north for sure ❤️ thanks for sticking around! Haha

This is karachis worst public beach. You should go to French beach. That is more exclusive and greener. Go to world's largest inflatable park that is jumbo jump near clifton. Also visit cafe flow in the evening

Please consider boycotting McDonald's and KFC, in support of Palestine, atleast while in Pakistan.
The local burger chains, like BurgerLab, OPTP, and others are actually much nicer too.
If you support Palestine, that doesn't mean everyone supports Palestine. Anyways, boycotting such brands is only a trend on social media; in reality, these brands are growing stronger day by day.
