The feeling of melancholy often came to me when I was alone and on the road. I struggled to understand why and how to avoid it, but there was no remedy. When I watch your videos, your calm and soothing tone brings me to the verge of it. You seem to be able to handle those times when you are alone and things are quiet and gloom is looming ever closer. It often happened on drizzly Sunday mornings. So, living in a tiny van and traveling around and freedom's associated with that lifestyle, are (to me) attractive and practical in many ways, but, it seems to me that the feelings of detachment and isolation and melancholy would consume me way too often, and I am not good at warding those feelings off. How do you deal with it? Or, do you ever have those days? Having Ruby with you must help but it's not a cure-all. I invite you or anyone else to share their thoughts and advise.
You just showed up yesterday & I’m so glad you did! I’m already very fond of both you & Ruby! I wish I could travel with you - eating, walking Ruby, seeing the world - what’s not to love?! I used to live in Pullman, WA, so you passed by there pretty closely! Gorgeous country with mountains, desert, forests, rivers & big open skies with stars at night!! I hope you can convince Ruby to get in the water, she would be so happy getting cooled off! (And shaking water all over you!) I love your kitchen! At the dollar store they sell cabinets and drawers slipping protectors by the rolls so that you can cover the panel with the skillet. Also you can strap the skillet in place with a bungee cord like you did with your gallon of water. Love the van and how it's all coming together. All the best!

I was a borderline diabetic and on Tuesday found out I am now a type 2 diabetes. Lord this is going to be a real struggle for me to change my ways. 62 and living my way all my life to change is going to be extremely tough. Thank you as always for sharing your life with us.
When I go hiking I like to take a small cooler with beers to enjoy afterwards. I found that reusing those thick almond nut bags with the top zipper as ice bags is great. I fill them with water and keep them in the freezer to just pop into cooler. After the day the ice melts but stays inside the bags, which I then just stuff back into my home freezer. Wondering if putting your ice into ziplock bags then into your cooler might help with making the draining easier for you. Just a thought. Love your videos ❤

I use my liquid coffee creamer as a replacement for milk in my recipes ALL the time! A delicious option for sure! It's always fun to add some sweetness - life is short! LOL Keep up the great work! I'm always impressed by your willingness to make your favorite recipes in your little kitchen.
