  • This project almost broke both me and my tools. My wrists were already in shambles after weeks of renovations, and my stubbornness almost brought me to my doom. But i figured out a way that worked for both my hands, my skills and my house! And i finally have a pantry that looks nice!
The nice weather also allowed me to plant my strawberries, and that made me very happy!

Loud music will get rid of the ghosts, you are probably hearing the mice packing their bags

Once you finally get the gross stuff up from the floor, Maybe painting it the ivory color you painted your bed and your pantry would look really nice. I love painted wood floors. You need a different tool. take a photo of the floor with the little nails and take it to the hardware store with you. I am sure they could guide you toward the better tool to do that job.

Recently joined your project, noticed in the garden box segment you have a rake on the ground with the tines up! Very ad practice! Really enjoy your videos. Nice smile and good worker. If I was 60 years younger 😂😂

It will always be noises in an old wooden house..temperatures between warm/cold/warm/cold makes the wood "move" You probably also have some small guests living here and there? (mouse) Nothing to worry about! Anyways: Its YOUR house now 😍 Keep up the good work :)😇

This is very true! I've gotten used to all the little sounds the house makes, and it is part of the charm💛

Fyi. 😊 when trying to cover something like you did the wallpaper paint it grey first then your white. grey makes it so much easier to like neutralize dark colors ect.. to cover in lighter colors without soo many coats and bleed thru 😊

Girl, I feel your struggle! As a fellow woman, iis infuriating to know that if you were a man - with their natural strength - you could have ripped out those offending floorboards in no time! It's so unfair! But us girls carry on regardless! 😂😂😂

Hi. I am new to your channel. Do you think the noises could be mice? Were you able to seal up all the holes? And trap all the mice? If you found droppings that might be what the noises are you here.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to watch my videos (and comment!)
The dropping i found were quite old, and I have not seen any new. I am very certain I dont have any mice inside the house, despite having old cracks and crevices everywhere. Having a dog (who is a rat/mice hunter) might also prevent any future critter to enter:)
There is a lot of water voles outside in the bushes tho

@MathildeHenriksen Thank you for your response. I'm glad to hear that you do not have mice. I have never heard of a water vole before. I had to google it.
You are doing a really good job on the house.

What is "Swearing in Christian upbringing"?

    • @MathildeHenriksen
      @MathildeHenriksen  5 месяцев назад +1

I were raised Christian and swearing was not something we were allowed to do. So I made my own swearing once I got angry, like; "Svarte bananas" (which means black banans) and "Helge Pettersen" (which I have no idea where originated from, but it is actually a Norwegian mans name, haha)

Thank you for your reply. I was raised a Christian as well, but there wasn't anybody around during childhood to hear me swear, so I just did...hehehe. I enjoy watching the relationship you have with your father. You two seem very close. And I enjoy your happiness...God knows the world needs more of that.

@@Kijiji-ny7qh Hehe, too bad I didn't think of that.
I'm very grateful for the relationship to my father. We are very similar, both childish, creative and enjoys/appreciate the slow life.
Thank you, your comment made me smile!
