$250k for 2.5% of there business is INSANE they only have 1 million in sales that valuation is insane
They had more then 1 mill but stil crazy. i would of went with Kevins deal and upped my prices by 1 dollar to cover the cost. They messed up
They came for the free exposure
@@hector5749 $1.5M revenue is one thing, but they made zero profit on that. Plus they raised $1.6M. Give me $1.6M in single dollar bills. I sell each dollar bill for $1. Suddenly I have a multi-million dollar business because "technically" it made $1.6M (before taxes)? Valuation is based on profit.
Anytime I see someone come in offering anything less than 5% it’s an immediate eye roll. You already know the sharks won’t waste their time for that amount.

@@mrhumble2937you have no idea how they work. Plus this isn’t about that. THERE HAS almost never been a deal done under 5%. I think it happened once and it was with 2 sharks at 5%. Doesn’t really count lol.
2.5% for a shark/whale investor like the sharks is worth more then that 2.5% chunk in a successful company.

2.5% has almost never gotten any sharks into a. Deal.
I think it has happened once where they went to 5%, but I feel this company almost didn’t want a deal. At the same time though THEY wanted a deal.
Would've made more sense to offer 8-15%
It was just about exposure for them, being that they spent 70% of their money on advertising, I think they figured they could just do this for free
there was a company that got 3% and they were hardly challenged.
@@DanielleElizabethStevens I’ve seen it too but those are the companies that the sharks have to want to be involved and know that they are willing to do so because the company is gonna be big, but to do it on a unproven company, I’m sure they will scuffle at a low percentage

He is on the show bcuz he is worth almost 400million and he does deals all the time . Y'all act like everybody that comes on the show is supposed to get a deal 😂 if the sharks don't feel like they can make money then they don't do the deal . People seem to forget it's THEIR money and they don't have to give it to people just bcuz they come on shark tank smh

I’ve used the product on my sons hair I personally don’t like that it don’t retain the moisture and if you put the products on the hair it’s like it feels dry. I like products to have a creamer and rich level of moisture cause in thicker hair it absorbs better but this product it’s kinda watery to me so I did stop using it
Try the Flax Seed gel. I am Hispanic with barely wavy hair, but I love the way it makes it look after applying it and it stays there for a few days even after showering. I just used Flax seed oil and water but one company came on shark tank recently with the gel.
And for that reason I’m out

It was the right decision not to do a deal. The deals were only good for the sharks, but pretty bad for the company... maybe they should have another valuation to strike better deals. But good promotion for them still....

I love when people talk about there's not products for black people. every big company has literally products just for black people
Sometimes those products are tokenism. Don't always accomodate the vastness of coloured people

You are wrong and have little life experience judging by your comment. Being marketed for black people does not mean they’re actually for black people. For instance, many products by these so called big companies you mentioned (there aren’t many) have products full of sulfates, parabens, and other chemicals you haven’t heard of which can damage black hair.
Damon needs to go, he knows nothing about business excepting tapping into distribution he already has or licencing and doing nothing.
