IMHumbleO, it would depend on the parent/child dynamic, the health of their relationship, and their communication styles.

Blessings 💙 honestly my husband and I have a 14 year age gap I’m 25 and he’s 39 we’ve been together for 3 plus years and celebrated a year of marriage in March .. ….we met at WORK!! And honestly I feel her being famous due to father I believe and being with a wealthy man that is older is what is highlighted in media and that exact representation gets pushed on all couples in similar age gaps…. Because my husband and I aren’t rich but most people side eyed me thinking I’m with him for benefits and that isn’t the case and if people listened to our story they would know this relationship was heaven sent and ordained but social media always highlighting the bad is killing the good ones who aren’t famous but are thriving in marriage …. But hey it’s more serious matters taking place than who this woman is dating and only the world cares her family and her seem well knowledgeable of what’s taking place either cool with it or not cool with it but has to be because the powers that be or daughter is like I do what I do , it her cross to carry on her journey….but on topics that matter I do love seeing representation of black marriage that is still moving forward and staying together through it all like the vows we take state but I do hope yall continue to be a godly and good representation of the black man , woman and child.. much love to you guys keep spreading faith , realness, and positivity 🫶🏾💙
