You're not going to believe me, but when you mentioned the Claim of right £2, I checked though my coin collection and found not one... but TWO of them! Today is my lucky day! Thanks :)
No coin deserves to be in a flip. Especially ones with edge inscriptions. It's not just the look of a coin, it's the feel of it too. It was lovely to see you release the dove. 🕊😀 Great info as usual LAFTA 👍
Always a pleasure to watch your vids. So informative, and great quality. Too many others in the same field are just banging out nonstop rubbish lately to get their views up.
Fabulous upload again LAFTA 😁👍. A friend only asked me the other day about values of some of these so I will show her this video . I came into coin collecting quite late so I don't have all of them .
I didn't realised there were different Claim and Bill of Right. I've just scurried to my book to check and have two Bills. So will add Claim to my wish list. I do still need Bank of England too. All of them so far I have picked up in circulation.
I have a £2 coin 1986 commonwealth scotland coin. Its non magnetic. It surely must be worth more than you said at the start of your video, which I may add is well put together 👍👍👍
I really enjoy these type videos because I’m not from there and had no clue they existed very interesting coin designs and values I liked them all thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Back when I was in 6th form in around 1990, I was working in a local Tesco and someone came in and bought a can of pop and some chocolate with a commemorative £2. I tried to explain at the time that although we could legally take it, they might want to hold on to it for the future. It was, if memory serves, the 1986 Commonwealth Games one, so if it's only worth about £3 or so now, it's probably not so important!
I'm lucky to have all of these (a couple of which are proofs) and a few extra spares of a few too. Nice to know the up to date selling prices. Thanks LAFTA 👍
Great video LAFTA. I love the old £2 but strangely I really don’t like the old £1. I also never noticed that the Dove doesn’t have the date on either side! Call myself a coin collector! Shocking 😂
Again I'm lucky enough to have the full set 😁 and the year set from 1989 and I've found the commonwealth games from 1986 in a hunt 😂 thanks LAFTA another great video 👍
I got a coin over 25 years ago through work not sure if it was a bill or claim of rights but it was silver coloured not the normal gold coloured. Has anyone else seen one before.
Hi Lafta, I have a coin question. With regards to Numista does it recognise Ceylon and Sri Lanka as 2 separate countries in Terms of coins or as one country as it's the same land mass only changed name?? 😁👍

haha, the anti flip movement! ;)

Too true Ian, too true!

Awesome stuff mate. I got rid of a load of spares I had a while back, somewhat regretting it now!
Great vid. I have all of them, but like you my Claim is a proof, although not in a set.
Good stuff Paul
Nice to see the start of the two pound coins but when you say to anyone not knowing, they don't believe you could have a single metal coin
It's funny because they are still legal tender too!
True but try and find one 😂
Hi just got the Euro 96 in proof along with 1999 and 1997 proof sets from the lady at my local post office 🙂
Awesome stuff! Sounds like a cool lady!
So glad I found this channel, my insomnia has disappeared.
That boring 😆
Great video LAFTA. I love the old £2 but strangely I really don’t like the old £1.
I also never noticed that the Dove doesn’t have the date on either side! Call myself a coin collector! Shocking 😂
Thanks Bungle. I think we are all guilty of overlooking the finer details of some coins!

Noooo, that poor flip 😢 amazing coin though 🕊 I think only eclipsed by the footy coin 👏

If it's one land mass then it's one country on Numista Ian. Thanks mate.
