As a beginner, I've learned a lot from contributors on here such as yourself, so thank you for your contributions to the "noobs" like me. If it's ok to mention, there's been some concern around counterfeit £2 coins where rotation "error" is an obvious sign. Perhaps it may be worth closer inspection in some cases? Of course I'm not suggesting an experienced guy like yourself, but apparently the fakes are becoming very convincing. Best wishes DB
Thanks DB, the more time you spend looking at these coins, the quicker you will spot the fakes. It’s something I’ve mentioned dozens of times in £2 coin hunts previously. Thanks for watching and I hope the hobby keeps you entertained!
I have been collecting commemorative coins for a couple of years now but recently I found a 2017 Britannia NIFC. It felt different even before I looked at it as the edges of the coin are much sharper than ordinary coins. I have no idea if it's worth anything but I wouldn't sell it anyway with it being my first NIFC. Excellent video by the way.
I get a lot of change where I've been working the last 6 months. I find about 10 £2 coins a month with a different back (tail). I found 1 2016 Britannia.
Great video - Thank you. I've found a few over face value coins in my £2 jar including the NI commemorative 👍 I was also looking to see if I had any 1999 which I have but understandably they look used and dirty, should I clean them? Thanks
Wasn't the 1997 £2 coin not actually introduced into circulation until 1998? Great video, and I would think any coin can have a rotation. I've only found one 2015, but have a 2007, a 2014, and today was given a 2010 (all technologies)
Yeah I think you’re right about the 1997s, didn’t mention it as it’s not really relevant to the subject. I did mention that any date is possible for a rotation and even showed a 2014 in the video. Cheers
I found and kept with me a £2 Britannia coin. And the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the other side is upside down. How much do you thin the current value of this coin?

Another great video LAFTA 😁. Love these type of videos. I have found 2015 and 2010 rotations.
2010! Oh I would love to find a year I don’t have. That’s so cool Jude
Thanks for this ,didn't think they would be so much for a die rotation. Will keep looking at my coins now .
Definitely worth keeping an eye out for Alexander!
How awesome would it be to find a new error that no one has has seen
Great stuff LAFTA 👍🏻
Oh for sure!!

I would never advise cleaning coins really. The 1999 needs to look like it was minted yesterday to be worth anything really.
Great informational video, eyes open folks👍
Cheers Aus!
