He’s not terminally online so when he was catching heat for that I legit think he didn’t know about all the sketchy shit going on, he just thought it was a “be a good person, work hard, and be a strong male figure” or whatever which isn’t really even a bad thing without all the toxic shit attached.

I liked it. It was funny watching Lab fail to out Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme.
Was much better than the last event, only issue was there really weren't enough handtraps (especially in the Dark pool) in order to curb the amount of combo that was possible, I just ended up saying fuck it and playing blind second Danger DW with like 6 board wipes

Man I'm just trying to get a second raff and third sera for my traptrix deck and all I'm pulling is literally every unplayable Traptrix card in the entire archetype, like Genlisea and triple Vesiculo, no URs at all except out of pack cards literally no one has heard of in the history of mankind.

Every hand from 6:29 to 6:46 was full combo except for the double fenrir and the fenrir + sloth one I think.
Yeah with some quick testing for the first 3 hands starting at 6:29:
1st one ends on 2Apo Harb Vortex Dweller/Borrel with 4 cards left in hand.
The 2nd and 3rd hands can be played almost identically and end on 3Apo Harb Vortex Dweller (with 5 cards left in hand -> Ash MaxxC +3). You could probably get more card advantage with fancy zealantis stuff but I didn't even bother.
I didn't bother with the rest but the only brick is at 6:37 with 2 fenrir 1 master 1 arc and the 6:38 one.

I feel you on the pack openings. Ive spent 8k on it and can probably build two 70% done Vaylantz decks and can build 20% of a Kash deck

Because of the unnecessary cards like arc pendulum that are "more extend" but does nothing to help the actual combo, just search revolution twice it's not once per turn remove arc pendulum
beside just maxx c and ash, they add gamma, ttt, fenrir, then the large odd-eyes package. With those stuff, you average hand would open like 2-3 non engine card leaving you unable to play.

@@TheMasterBlaze looking at the 8 minutes montage you see maxx c, ash, gamma, driver, fenrir, TTT, then I even see duelist alliance. Like Arc pendulum is like the extender to your extender, not your main combo that you have to play alliance to search it. Game plan should be turbo out Ignister asap and think from there.
@@TheMasterBlaze yep, it's not the standard for sure but they have it for some reason, normal dracoslayers use the odd eyes revolution with sky iris combo to recycle the synchro or search the pend dragons, these wacko's play like 20 brick hand cards in a deck full of gas
Ironically Vaylantz has proven to be much stronger than Dracoslayer in the OCG so him complaining about pulling Vaylantz is poetic considering what he goes through.
Also the Val field spells would help his deck XD
I fucking hate that “marvel meme” had me rolling for no reason.
The problem is between Kash (For Now) and Maxx C (The Broader Issue) Dracoslayers has very little chance of doing anything. The best pendulum deck to play in a Maxx C format is plain Pendulum Magicians simply because it has a decent stopping point under Maxx C with the Pendgraphs plus Plan B. However, Dracoslayer can play far more non-engine than that deck can so it has that upside and Ignister is a hell of a card going second especially with Odd-eyes Revo letting you resolve it multiple times.
Endymion is pretty great too. You can get a great board, but it's so fucking annoying if you don't invest the ur for it.
@galaxyvulture6649 exact same thing with dracoslayers in regards to UR's required. But I swear that majester and dinoster used to be rares before the new dracoslayer support got announced lol.
If kasthira is allowed Maxx c should stay unbanned.
Endy is better you can make more disruptions with less summons
@@emanuelstornello8009 the only problems in Kashtira are the zone locking and consistency. I hate that Fenrir is just splashed anywhere. But I don't have much of an issue with the concept.
Vaylantz field spells actually can be used on any pend deck, you can bait a negate or just move an indestructible cards to the spell/trap zone.
the downside is that your opponent can use that on their turn also :)
That's why the usual play is to find a way to pop one of the spells after you've used both field effects.
Which is why you always use beyond the pendulum pop the 2 field spell

I think they buffed the vaylants drop rates as I have got 12 of the field spells and multiple of the fusion. Its nuts.
All those retries to get the hand you want should had been a red flag on how the deck was going to do on ladder.
It’s crazy Pend went from an entire summoning mechanic to a single deck. Like it doesn’t even matter if a new “Pend archetype” comes out. The Frankenstein Magician, Odd-Eyes, Mythical Beast, Endemion deck *might* take a few of its best cards otherwise it won’t see play.
Nah, this deck is a different one, Endymion & pend magicians don’t work in the same deck at all, mythical beast is damn-near an engine for Endymion so I feel that’s a more isolated incident. Oh yeah, Vaylantz. This video actually shows off 2 non pend-mag pendulum archetypes

It's one of the dumbest things i see in yugioh right now , like Endymion, magicians, dracoslayers , vaylantzs , abyss actors , solfachord , odd eyes All have different strategies and playstyle , the only thing they havein common is they all pendulum summon , it's like saying tear and branded are the same deck because they're fusion decks.

For one Dracoslayers isn't the generic Pendulum mash deck it's a different deck. Also my brother in Christ he was literally there pulling Vaylantz cards...a Pendulum archetype that only plays in its own deck lol

when pend came out it was broken because nothing special summoned so getting a free "normal summon" of your hand when you play pend is insane but now every deck does what pend does with a single card instead of needing 2 specific scales to summon a 3rd card from hand
It wasn't though. When Pend came out it was easily disruptable, the only meta deck was Qliphorts until of course we got further along to Pepe and the like, where they actually used the fullness of how busted Pend could be.
Everything special summoned before pends released....and tbh when you look at the meta outside of rituals and tribute summoning and all of the forgotten summoning types (Gemini and spirit) pendulums didn't have many meta placements. During Qli being meta Shaddol and Burning Abyss were a thing and BA countered Qliphorts. Pepe lasted a week at best. Pendulum magicians were meta as well but SPYRAL existed.
They weren't close to be broken when they came out they literally need to wait for pepe to do something. Qli doesn't count that are floodgate deck with tribute summon boss monster.
The second pendulum meta deck was metalfoes kirin and after that not pendulum will be tier 1 before the link nerf

Definitely deck building issue. Too many non engine cards in the deck. Max out on draco searchers like bunbuku dinomist charge, and infernoble arms durandal. Also don't play odd eyes cards in this deck besides revolution dragon. Just my take. I've been playing this deck since the moment it released in the tcg. One of my favorite decks of all time. Not very good going second in a best of 1 format like MD tho.
Chaos Angel can be a three-of if you're on Pots or after Ariseheart comes out

You can't run it like its best of 3. Thats why dracoslayer wont work on MD coz Maxx c and no siding.
You have to use dragonic field spell pop itself, search amorphactor pain and cheese away their MP1 next turn, and lock out their fusions xyzs and synchros behind a 2950atk "wall". Thats about the best the deck can do, otherwise you should just be on pend magician go into borrel, vortex apollousa end board. Amorphous persona also triggers dinomight.
You can it's just this deck is built for best of 3 so it's going to brick when this decks specialty is 2 card combos

As someone who built dracoslayers recently, it's just a deck building issue, I genuinely believe that deck was just built poorly, it doesn't have an answer to maxx c but it can play through multiple disruptions and still end on a 3 mat apo through imperm ash and veiler, the problem with it is just the learning curve is steep, you click a wrong button? Game over good luck finding out why, these are pend cards and no one wants to read them least of all the player
I don't like the arc pendulum or the sloth, what exactly is arc pendulum there for, more extending? And sloth can be replaced by Goliath because you summon it with seals so when your turn comes back, zealantis refreshes it and it has the highest statline of the amorphage monsters, at worst it's an emergency scaled macro cosmos that removes itself to free the scale

@@BossBasher difference between mine and farfa is he has all these extra cards like arc pendulum that don't get him to the combo right away or it's hard garnets like 2 gamma with a driver and triple tactics, in a deck that must open the 2 card combo and/or get there as fast as possible or they have simply bricked and lose on the spot
