You sir are awesome my trucks wiring is perfect except for in the loom on that green wire it was green i snipped the bad part out and joined it and then heat shrunk over it. Now it’s perfect I subscribed to your channel the truck I’m talking about is on my channel cheers and thanks again
So did changing the sensor/ solenoid work or was it a wire problem. You can stop the door ding by simply closing the latch on the door… you just have to remember to pull the door handle and release the latch before you close the door. If you forget, it will remind you
Greetings, Honda Pilot 2004. Check engine codes came after alternator failed. P0748 Pressure Control Solenoid A Electrical. Transmission fluid was smelly, medium dark. Only gear 1 and R work. Changed Presure Solenoids AB and C. Changed transmission fluid. Problem not solved. Please help.
It turned out the problem was only VTM4 electrical switch failure. After tracing the issue, it was a simple matter of changing a fused switch under the driver side dashboard.
I believe because of the active fault code in the circuit. Governor pressure sensors are common to fail on these especially if the transmission is tuned or modified. Good luck
So other than the crappy wiring mods. Was there any other issue ls. Bad connector pins or broken wire on the back of the connector.? I having trouble locating the cause of the P0748 code. 2003 Dakota 5.9. As for grounds, where are the transmission grounding points?? Off the engines grounds?? Thx.
If this problem is consistent where the code sets as soon as you start the vehicle then I would test the resistance of the resistance of the governor pressure solenoid, normal is 3-4 ohms. Check to see if the solenoid is losing the power supply to it just before the code sets. If so, swap the transmission relay and verify the wiring to it. Check the signal on a scope to see if the circuit is staying grounded all the time. If so, check the wiring to the PCM and for a possible bad PCM. Good luck. I don't think this would be a ground problem.
I'm from Brazil, the error that appears on the 48re gear is the P0622, I have problems to change from first to second gear, the others work well, do you have any idea what the defect is?
P0622 is a fault code for a problem with the charging system. "When Monitored: With the ignition on. Engine running. Set Condition: When the PCM tries to regulate the generator field with no result during monitoring. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL." I doubt that is the problem with the transmission though. I'm not sure what you mean by having problems "changing from first to second gear" Is this an automatic transmission or manual trans?
@@PhillipBailey automatic transmission, P0622-transmission this is the only error code that appears, I will open the transmission and test the solenoid, but I think the problem is electrical, have you never had this error code in a transmission?
@@PhillipBailey it may be that the problem is in the fuse box, tomorrow I will check the transmission fuses, sorry if I do not understand myself correctly, I am using google translator.
@@AndreArisa2 Ok so it is actually an automatic transmission? That code is not a transmission code. Try a different scan tool. What are the symptoms exactly?
A piercing probe is not gonna hurt the wiring on that truck anymore than it already is. 🤣🤣🤣

Glad it helped you...

I believe it was the corroded control wire above the bellhousing.
Dan Sullivan would be happy seeing the Load Pro in the hands of a pro. It is a great tool. Great video and diag.
Yes I like using it just have to make a conscious effort to use it.
Only think that would improve it would be a way of adjusting the load. Being able to vary the load from 100 mA to 10 amps would be fantastic.
The car is a 2500 dodge ram year 2008, the error code is the P0622-Transmission. Thank you for your attention

Sounds like it's a transmission rebuild time.

Was the corroded wire the solution? Left off on a cliffhanger...
@ThisOldJeep421 sorry yes it was.
Why was desired psi 0? I'm having the same issue with my truck

AND............ still stumped ? like the rest of us wasting our lives trying to fix this poorly engineered garbage
