I'm 44, and this foundation looks beautiful on my normal to dry skin. The only thing is that, like the NARS Light Reflecting, it emphasises my forehead lines, so I have to wear a blurring primer underneath to blur the lines. They really dig deep. So, if you have forehead lines, keep that in mind.
What did you use on your eyebrows? They look absolutely perfect! The foundation - since I have long days, usually at least 12 hours wear of makeup, this will be a skip. Thank you!
This foundation was disappointing for all the hype it received. It’s just not the best over time. The beauty influencers that are loving it are only showing it at first application. Due to the serum texture, it looks great at first, but over time it looks not great. It’s one of those foundations that only looks good if you never really needed much coverage to begin with. If you’re dry, it clings to those patches. If you’re oily, it starts to slide around after a few hours and separate. Glamzilla later posted a video saying it wasn’t even her favorite foundation of 2023. So in my opinion, it went viral because people loved the initial application with the massive Make Up Forever Brush and they found it aesthetically pleasing.
Didn’t like this either. But LOVE Laura Mercier’s Flawless Lumiere Radiance Perfecting Foundation! It’s so good esp. for dry/sensitive/more mature skin.
I almost got the LM but I dunno. After the lady put it on my face at Ulta , it looked very good initially and the “cashew” was perfect color but I took a pic of myself in another store (not the most flattering lighting of course) later , it looked dry and my my forehead wrinkles were pretty prominent 🤷🏻♀️ I ended up getting the NARS light reflecting (Vienna shade) and it looked a lot better texture wise for me. I have what I consider normal skin with a bit of oiliness around the creases of my nose. * I also use the La Come pro primer and the LM translucent setting powder
I know this sounds strange, but bare with me. I don't wear makeup. Not because I don't like it, or think there's anything wrong with it, I just can't justify the cost at any price point. Anyway, I view makeup and nails as art. I love watching others create beautiful works of art through makeup and nails. A very unique expression with each person. It's very relaxing. I also have sensory overload issues. So it's very difficult to watch a lot of videos all the way through or even find a channel that doesn't trigger these issues. I also cannot handle asmr. One of things that's difficult for me to watch is when people use their fingers to apply product on their face and the amount of product that is used when switching. My brain goes into overload. However, with your videos, because of your calming voice and demeanor, I am able to still enjoy the content. I also value your input, as I have friends that wear makeup and I recommend your videos all the time. Thank you for listening. I wish you and your family the best and look forward to hopefully watching your content for many more years to come.
This foundation failed me im neutral sometimes warmer but couldn't find a shade for me ive never had this issue with any foundation. Also i have a few fine lines and clung to it within a couple hours again never been an issue. Glad only got samples and didn't purchase not worth my money
The foundation is terrible. Has nothing on Other phenomenal foundations that actually perform. There’s nothing “blurring “ about the makeup and listening to you talk highly about it I can’t type fast enough to say the exact opposite ! 😂 it’s terrible and looks so oily on your skin type . I have normal skin and my normal skin can handle just about any texture. I prefer so many others out there and I swear I used to be a hard core LM person but ever since she sold it 4 years ago the makeup line went downhill so damn fast.
Exactly. This is exactly what happened to Bobbi Brown. These makeup artists aren’t even in control of their own label because it’s owned by a larger company. This foundation is viral for no reason.
One of the only real reviews I’ve seen! Thank you!
I get oily and it is a pass for me. NARS soft matte, Too Faced Born this Way Matte, and Estee Lauter Double Wear are grails for me.
When my skin was oily, ELDW was my holy grail
@@fossil1127 I have dry skin and I still can't find anything better then ELDW. I wish I could as the CEO is a literal monster and I'm boycotting.

Yeah the nars light reflecting gets into my lines too, and I’m only 26. I don’t get the hype behind it because it looks BAD on my lines lol
I love this formula!!!! It turned quickly into a top one for me. 🥰
Thank you for always giving us wear tests! They are crucial and you’ve always been that for us.

Great review. Just digressing what nail polish shade do you have on.
I bought it and I liked it so far.❤

For me personally it lasts up to 14hrs, I have normal skin - a little oily around the nose. I do set it with the Laura Mercier translucent powder.
I was wondering about this one! Looks like I’ll be skipping it. Thank you!!
It looked So Beautiful!!!🥰
Didn’t like this either.

I tried a sample of this and it felt like I was putting olive oil on my face

@@ahrie yup and the new Bobbi brown line is terrible now 🙄
It's one of the worst foundation ever. It's just not worth it the price
