I have been looking for a pinafore pattern just like your Ogden cami hack so was so pleased to find your vlog! Thank you so much, Cath, I love watching your vlog's as they are so informative. I'm in awe of how great a sewist you are, everything you make looks gorgeous!
I’m so pleased you found the vlog useful. I really love wearing my Ogden cami pinafore hacks, hope you do to if you make one 😊 Thanks so much for your lovely comment, I appreciate it a lot ☺️
I really wish more patterns included finished garment measurements so I can decide for myself how much ease I want without making toiles all the time. Measuring flat patterns to find out finished size can be tricky. I love pinafores but still haven't found the perfect fit for me as I'm quite busty, thanks for this compilation.
It’s so handy when patterns do include finished garment measurements isn’t it, I always like to check them out to gauge the amount of ease too 😊 Thanks so much for watching
I love your videos; I love that you always give the correct terms for the different features. It makes pattern searching so much easier when I have an image in my head of what I'd like to achieve. Thank you for taking the time to be so comprehensive in your pattern reviews 🌷
Pinafores are my favorite thing to wear. (We call them jumpers, as you know, not to be confused with a pullover sweater lol). I love them with turtlenecks and tights and boots! Obviously, I am an Autumn/Winter lover and miserable when I have to pack them all away for Summer! Xojennyinseattle
I love a pinafore too! I’m the same, I am always excited to get my autumn/winter wardrobe out 😊👌 so much fun choosing which layers to pair together for colder weather!
I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much for sharing this very well detailed tutorial. You are very clever lady. I will definitely try these patterns as I love pinafore dresses, I have few but they are sll bought because I didn't have time for sewing in past 3 years because of my job. Thank you again ❤️🙏
I really enjoyed your 5 pinafore vlog. You're amazing, Cath how you sew such a nice variety😃 I liked your Ogden Cami version very creative and lovely. You've inspired me to make a tilly and the buttons one since I'm a beginner. Thanks for your video...keep them coming 😁
Thank you very much for watching 😊 I’m looking forward to getting my Pippi out now the weather is getting cooler. Hope you enjoy the pattern if you try it x
Thank you very much! Hope you get on well with the Camden pinafore. I’ve made the Camden skirt but not the pinafore yet but I really like the look of the pinafore too! xx
I am in awe of your sewing skills, everything you make always looks wonderful. For any US viewers ‘pinafore = jumper’ and ‘jumper = sweater’. Waiting for the cooler weather here in Suffolk UK so I can wear my York pinafores that I made over the summer ❤️
Thank you for showing us all your pinafores. They are all wonderful and very well made! I really like to wear them too. I am working on a jacket right now but my next plan its to hack the Harlene dungarees into a pinafore. Since I have made them once I think it won’t be to hard to do. After seeing yours I think I would like the pinafore you made from the Ogden cami. It’s really cute on you 😊
Thank you very much 😊 A pinafore hack of the Harlene dungarees sounds fab! I have really enjoying hacking the Ogden cami into a pinafore, I think I’ll enjoy layering it up with different tops this winter 😊 thank you for watching!
Thanks again Cath, you've definitely put me in the notion of sewing a pinafore now, I love them in cord too. Glad you recommended making a toile for the Fiona as I have that on my to-make list. I'll definitely have to do the same.
Hi Cath: Are pinafores a big thing in England? Not so much here in the states, although I do echo what Andrea said about them being called jumpers here. I did wear them when I was young at school :O)
Hey Donna! Pinafores are really popular within the Cottage Core aesthetic all over the world. But it's a niche aesthetic that maybe not everybody has heard of. Also popular with people who like vintage style.
I live pinafores and found your vlog very helpful. I have most of those patterns so I’m ready to go! Thank you for the inspiration. 🙏
Thank you for watching! Hope you enjoy sewing your pinafores. I love pinafores too 😊
Love a pinafore! Haven't seen the Pippi pinafore before and really like the look of it so thanks for the inspiration x
