I bought a pair last week. I'm just in the process of getting them fitted with prescription transition lenses to replace my old ray-ban glasses that have those same lenses. I don't make much content for uploading but having an instant way to take a photo can only be a good thing.
Great walkthough mate! Appreciate it. Probably worth updating your video to add the fact it now allows 3 Minute recordings however. Also I reckon the Large look great on you man. Keep rockin it.

That’s the first pair I’ve seen in years that doesn’t have an antireflection coating applied to the lenses. Would be very beneficial to have a lens with no reflections in them.

The only thing Meta could have done better is aiming the camera to match your view. You have to turn your head a little to the right to center your photo/video. Also, the Transition lenses come in what's called XTRActiv, which will stay (somewhat) dark in the car.
I agree with you on the camera placement. You do have to tilt your head a little to the side so your shot is not too much to that one side that the camera is on. I would like to see maybe two lenses, one on each side that somehow stich the shot together so that you can get a widescreen view instead of just the portrait view. Since I do a lot of RUclips stuff, Iʻd rather have it shot in widescreen. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻

I watched a review where the video was converted to landscape in post. Although the reviewer said some video quality is lost, I couldn't see the difference.

Do the videos loop? Or do I have to restart the video every 60 seconds or 3 minutes
From my use, the video just stops recording at a minute. If you want to record again you’d have to reinitiate the recording, either by pressing the button again or using a voice command.
I wanna get these but what’s messed up is if you want to get prescription and transition lenses they will cost 1000 bucks! 🤬 just the glass’s themselves cost almost 600 here

I think they are killer. However I'm not on Facebook or any social media for that matter. Them having my information would not be something I would be interested in. Now if it were strictly like a GoPro thing I would be more likely to get something like that.

you cannot use the sunglasses in the sunshine. It gets hot in the video. Will work when you call Ray. They say it automatically shuts down when the glasses over. Let's remember the sunglasses. I think that's a big snafu
