Amazing the "good" this man created in his life for children. He was a good man that the entertainers of today should study. A true gift to the US.

This interview is a great find for me here on RUclips! I loved Howdy Doody and Buffalo Bob so much as a youngster back in the late 40s and early 50s. Buffalo Bob was like a member of my own family! What an original and talented gentleman! I was very saddened to learn of his passing. It's good that this interview was preserved for all us Baby Boomers when we hunger for a bit of our past in the glory years of this country, namely, the Fifties.

I remember Buffalo Bob and Clarabell the Clown. Then there was Captain Kangaroo, and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Do kids have anything worth paying the light bill for anymore?
