Collector’s Delight, Part I: Unboxing a Mitsubishi 3000 GT by Matchbox Collectors

  • I read about these almost two years ago, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen one of these “Collectors” line of Matchboxes in a regular retail store as opposed to a specialty store, and it happens to be of a model I quite like, the Mitsubishi 3000GT!
    ERRATUM: this isn't actually my first "Matchbox Collectors" model; last year I unboxed two vintage race cars, a Porsche 910 and a Jaguar D-Type, both of which also carry "Matchbox Collectors" branding. Also, the regular edition Mitsubishi 3000 GT models Matchbox has released are black and red, not yellow.

    Jesus , matchbox is really expensive outside USA , my friends from Nicaragua were not playing

      Obscenely so, unfortunately. Ironically, its country of manufacture (Thailand) is so much closer to us here in Asia than the US, so one would think it'd be cheaper for us.
