The triumph is a winner in my book. I wish they were true 1/64… but like you had said Match box is really killing it with realistic cars on a budget. I also which they were more common at the stores.
We have our most disappointing model for 2023! The LFA should have had no moving parts, proper wheels and windows at least painted black to achieve the proper look in profile. And the chrome lip wheels are not terribly appropriate for this casting. The basic multispoke works better than this! Sorry but I am going to say it, it’s cool they made the LFA but it’s a disappointment! 😢
@@scumbhagog8365don't get irritated with their input/criticism. There has to be a most disappointing model for the year and the Lexus is their opinion. 😁
This Triumph TR6 is my favorite new vehicle in the past 5 years. Its stunning. Also the wheels stand out because they are matte black which is perfect!
I’ll end up grabbing the LFA. That being said, having seen quite a number of them both stationary and in motion, the side profile is very odd. I think it boils down to two things: the moving parts doors (the gaps throw off the proportions of the side), and those missing windows. I’m hopeful a non-moving parts version will be released because I do think that’ll solve most of the problems, but for now it’s definitely disappointing. The front and rear are good, but man, those sides bother me.
Great MBX set. The new wheels on the Triumph and the T2 Bus looks awesome. And I also like the LFA (although maybe they shouldn’t have gone moving parts on it), but the wheels looks nice too on that one.
Love the Lexus LFA and the Triumph TR6 and i like the livery on the VW T2 as well. Nice mix of Collectors Matchbox models. Thanks for showing these Lamley.
For what it is and how much it costs, I don't mind the LFA's imperfections _too_ much, and with the retro-style packaging, it almost gives it a vintage feel. That being said, it probably could have been done better. I'm also not sure why the doors are a slightly different kind of white when the whole casting, doors included, is metal.
Ugh was so excited about the LFA but Matchbox blew this casting. Why did they do opening doors? It looks terrible. Opening hood would have been much better. And the profile on the tires is way too thick. The wheels is Ok I guess.
I wish the LFA had side mirrors. It's not terrible but not that exciting. Something about this Monte Carlo is bothering me, too. Maybe the size of the wheels?
I love those premium hubbies. I imagine that the bus is gonna be near impossible to find unless I catch them during a restock (and the employees don’t hoard them all). I’d be down to purchase a couple Triumph’s for wheel swapping
My feeling is it's not the wheel that MB could do better; it's the tire. And boy do I dislike it when doors are opening parts: The gaps are huge. That said, I'm excited about the Triumph. I can't wait to find hundreds of them warming the pegs,
My least favourite casting is the monte carlo just because the doors don't line up and the paint on the doors looks different from the rest of the car! What is the problem here? It is a different color for sure! Love the Triumph! Those doors line up and the color is right.
I'm sorry but that Lexus LFA in white is the most boring-looking sports car I have ever seen 😂. Monte Carlo, Triumph TR6 and VW Transporter look sweet though 👍.

I’ve been asking for an LFA and an RX-8 for years. And now we get them both in one year. I’m happy.
never got into matchbox
Wow! All five are amazing castings with fantastic wheels. I really hope I can find the whole set!

Much disappointing when it has no side mirrors.
You guys make the fcking car then lol

It was clear this was going to be a disappointing release from the very early pre production shots. Something was off then and it was not fixed.
I bought it tonight & super disappointed with how unlexus lfa it looks
I love the LFA and Triumph! For sure grabbing both of them

Love this new set. My favorite is the Triumph. Perfect for Matchbox.

Hopefully I can find some of these. I’ve never seen Matchbox Collectors series in store ever.
Finally found this mix in store today! Picked up the LFA and TR6, the Monte Carlo and VW had already been taken off the pegs
solid set! Monte C, VeeDub Bus, LFA and Camaro! Triumph! 👊❤
Nice preview for #MatchboxMonday! Haven't found ANY new Matchbox Collectors lately though. Can't wait for this new mix to be released!
The metal casted engine on the Triumph looks to be apart of the bumpers too! So it is 5 piece casting.
They should have pulled a Tomica with the windows on the LFA and at least painted them black.
I like the LFA actually and it is nice to compare it with Tomica Premium.
I had a 1976 TR6, white over black. Hope they release that color combo someday. BRG over saddle is the classic
Really cool
Best line up I've seen in a long ass time
My stepfather had that exact Monte-Carlo when I was a kid.
cool casting, i woukd love lexus with metal base. can't wait to see on store. thanks for sharing 🙂
my only gripe with the lfa is that it needed mirrors
Where’d you get it? I been looking for an lfa but I can’t find any on amazon
Great Cars..Mite Need Some Wheel Swaps.. 2 Bad They Haven't Figured Out How 2 Match Paint From Metal 2 Plastic *
I just picked up the VW bus. But I still don’t know how to know which Matchbox cars are ‘collection’ worthy just based on looking at the cards.
I wish the LFA had side mirrors. It's not terrible but not that exciting. Something about this Monte Carlo is bothering me, too. Maybe the size of the wheels?
Love the wheels, love the Triumph!

I’m last !!Love the 5 spokes on the art work but 6 spokes on the Monte Carlo and Camaro amazing video so far
Love the Camaro,Triumph and VW! Not crazy with the Monte Carlo and Lexus with opening doors but probably would get them!
Triumph is my favourite with those wheels!
Could they have Tampo'd the window on the LFA?
Hell yeah love me some matchbox premium
When is coming?
Matchbox has to improve the steering wheels. They have to look more realistic. At least for the collector models ☺️

I love the Triumph. I already know that it won't be found in the Montreal area.
That Triumph TR6 !! ❤
Definitely, I prefer them not, to have opening parts.
Nice to know that I’m not the only one. (except one the 280Z)
Be careful what you wish for
@@HotWheelsMan_Philippines Wdm
@@josephj807 Well someone asked that on the Tomica line, now they don't have any opening features on their cars.
@@HotWheelsMan_Philippines what we are talking about is the cars have large panel gaps in between the moving parts.
The Triumph is absolutely gorgeous. The best! the LFA is a bit of letdown, don’t like the wheels at all. Reminds me of some Tomica models.
Ebay purchases. Goodluck finding any of these
Finally found the LFA and the chassis rubs the table when I roll it. Bummer
Yea this comment right here. I had to file the chassis down so the car would have enough clearance to roll smoothly
11:52 looks like a wheel error 😮
Your right!!
I WANT THE LFA!!!!
Matchbox needs to go back to putting the scale size on the chassis.🤨🤨🤨
Doors on the Monte Carlo look horrible.
They missed the mark on the LFA...
Yes they did.
Those doors on monte look like crap. And the wheels. Smdh.
Matchbox. Preview. New. Matchbox collectors. With. Lexus. LFA. and. Brand.
Glad you're calling them " Wheels " NOT Rims. They call them HotWHEELS for a reason and NOT HotRims, just saying.
Ashanti wheels on the monte carlo 😂😂😂
I was waiting for the LFA. But i will skip after find it disappointing. The proportion sucks. Details are ugly.
Chassis doesn't have proper clearance from the ground either
Pass
WOW WE
I'm sorry but that Lexus LFA in white is the most boring-looking sports car I have ever seen 😂. Monte Carlo, Triumph TR6 and VW Transporter look sweet though 👍.
First lamley group
I’m last here i wins
Ah, OK 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂
Wheels look like shit on the LFA
LFA = MEH, just BLAH, vanilla BLAH
Those wheels are embarrassingly bad.
