    Anyway, on with the video…
    -
I often receive DMs from people asking me how I’d start over or what advice I’d give to beginners who are starting their journey with SMMA.
I’ve thought about this for a long time. There’s a lot of advice I would give if I was to go back in time to 18 year old Charlie, but there’s one idea I had that is so contradictory, idiosyncratic & weird that I couldn’t help but make a video on.
This video explains one thing I’d do if I was starting over, as someone who’s built a $100k/mo agency & a $200k/mo coaching business.
I hope you find today’s video helpful. If you do, consider subscribing :)
    Thanks,
    Charlie

Man, you're giving dangerously good advice. It's simple logical stuff and I'm doing it right now only with full time job. That way if I spend 2-3 hours on the business I will be forced to do only the essential stuff and think like entrepreneur.
Seems to me like you're the only one of the big guys who isn't full of shit and who's advice isn't tailored to coaches who coach coaches.
Tou also treat it like a real business and not like get rich quick scheme. Which in my opinion SMMA was a few years ago and so many coaches still portray it like that to sell their courses.

This whole lesson incredibly resonates with me. I am finishing my Economics degree this year and I have a job as well that pays good money for the position I am in. With that said I have a decent amount of capital to work with, but I didn’t feel like I had much time to get things going yet. I have prepared scripts and all that good stuff, but I didn’t feel like I could get around to it as I go to school/work during all business hours. I think this idea can help me get things going during the hours I am not available. Good content and ideas as always. You’re the man Charlie😉

Refreshing answer. Having some level of security means you'll make more rationale, long-term decisions AND you'll come across as less desperate on calls because you have an abundance of them & have some cash flow coming in through the part-time job! And you've identified an easy, low-risk way to leverage money to reduce the necessary time input! Good job!

Outreach is important but it's pointless if you have no clue how to deliver results which is where most people are stuck.

I still don't understand how it'd be possible to make it effective. I mean an email needs to be warmed up before sending messages, otherwise one would burn it swiftly. How can you hire people for hours if the amount of emails to be sent from each domain is pretty low? Assuming you start over, you wouldn't have those emails warmed up for a very long time. Correct me if I'm wrong but what you're talking about here doesn't sound feasible

Sounds great :) capital is always a great way to scale the work you actually want to do. The problem I have right now is emails scrapin. When I use services like Outscraper I get 1/3 or useless email addresses. So when I get 3k emails I need to scan through all of them to kick out useless ones. Then again to pick up names from companies to personalise my emails. Then scan websites and fb pages in search of other names. It takes hours and hours. Manual scraping is not better - searching for 2k prospects would take me forever. Any idea how to make it easier? I'm focusing on Polish market of beauty and wellness right now, as I know it the best but I know I'll find no one on fiver to scrape it for me ;)

You talk about client acquisition this cold calling that, but all this testing of scripts and shit is useless if you do not have a good service!!! You need a working service that proves to your clients that you can help them in their sales and appointments. Cold calling, cold emailing is u s e l e s s if you do not have a working service!!! Focus on your service it is the sole most important thing

    • @bnb_daddy

    • @joelioes3550

@@bnb_daddy yup. that’s why you should offer a pay per lead offer without a retainer to your first client. that way, if it does not work out, you can perfect your service in a different way until it does work. only then does it make sense to focus all of your energy on client outreach

Everyone that has a full-time job is an excuse. Quit and find a part-time job. I understand there’s living costs, but look at your finances. And if switching from full-time to part-time is gonna put you at too much risk where you’re losing money or just can’t afford to have a part-time job, then I think this isn’t for you. That’s your simple answer. If you really want to make this work you’ll find a way.

This is no shade to you at all. I find it interesting when SMMA youtubers talk about getting a part time job to help fund your SMMA, it seems like they are only speaking to teenagers who live at home with their parents and have all the free time in the world. What about someone who already works fulltime and has to pay for their life, im struggling to find time to book meetings during the week as I work during "normal" work hours

    • @heikorudi6105

move to a cheaper city, have roomies, get a part-time job where you don't need a car. heck move in in your parents garage if needed. Honestly bro, if you cannot find a way to solve this problem for yourself, you have no business owning a business. you neither have the problem-solving ability nor the mental strength or creativity to start a successful company. stay at the job and move on from smma content.
