0:06 I can play this.
0:20 Nevermind...
Hi
Hahaha XD
exact same thought
I can play the whole piece
Now everybody suck my diiiick
0:20 Right hand seizure
1:28 Let's do a left hand seizure
2:06 Now you have warmed up your both hands, let's do it together!
True
I can't get over how accurate that is.
Lmao
Kui Wang So true though
It's not a musical etude so that's correct
0:06 this is ok :) I might try to play this
0:20 and back to mary had a little lamb!
Twinkle twinkle star of Mozart that is
+Jessica Cyan Msp try the variations then ;)
+Jessica Cyan Msp Yeah. This is definitely no beginner piece. Starting out just learn a what you think you can do that's the hardest ; challenges are the best. Once you start to read sheets better do something that will require intricate fingering so you can get technique down. Classical is the best thing to play for all of this on piano. Also, twinkle twinkle little star has some amazing and difficult variations c:
Zachary Thomas I'm doing my grade 1 piano in the summer so I can read a little sheet music :)
Jessica Cyan Msp Good! :D I am currently learning this song, and the sheets are surprisingly easier than you'd imagine. The only hard part is the RH until you get further into the song where the LH and RH switch. And it's mostly a bunch of arpeggios / chromatics xD
I can't stop laughing throughout the video, laughing at myself for thinking I could play this piece.
Snoopy Woodstock Same 😂😂😂
Snoopy Woodstock I miss the days when I could play this piece of beauty
But ill definitely learn it ( if ill get a piano that is)
you can learn it bro
@@svnsparks Ya I also support you man . You can learn how to play this same video on youtube , you just have to add it to a playlist or simply download the video
Simple
Once you understand the pattern this piece isn't as hard as it looks, the right hand is basically just a chromatic scale with either A, C or E between each note. As long as you practice it slowly first and gradually increase the speed it's very possible :) just a message to everyone struggling, keep trying, it suddenly works and it's very satisfying :) don't give up!!
its not either, ace chord has a pattern as well while the chromatic goes down
Kawaii Tom I agree to you. Many of Chopin's Etudes are quite easy to play when you understand the pattern.
Arizona 1001 it is almost the same patterns for every harmonic chord in the piece
Filip Dimitrijevic Lmao no It's not
Arizona 1001 k then, maybe your brain doesnt have the capacity to understand , do not reply , i wont answer...
The music of his time was so insane, etudes were next level. This guy, liszt and Paganini were legends
Chopin also
This guy - @@DAVI.LUCAS.GAMER.
Person: Piano is outdated. The only way it should be used is with other instruments, otherwise it gets too calm.
Chopin: Watch me... *DULDDDUDUDDLDUDDLU*
Applies with Alkan, Liszt etc lol
Rofl
Literally no one has ever said this
Alexander Alekhine actually I’ve heard it a lot. Its annoyingly demeaning.
Hold my beer
Story of winter wind:
Kid plays piano
20 seconds in....
Chopin pushes the child and starts playing
way too underrated
Lolol true haha haha
True
Nice one my boi
Dropkicks*
It looks difficult at first but when you try to learn it...
it only gets harder.
Nice XD
+Timmy Leprachaun Same here! Therefor u need at least 4 hands xD
+Izzi DD Ino It's Mad!
Lmao I got a hope :/
it becomes more difficult
0:08 "Wow this song is so easy" 0:19 " What the hell"
ddlc be like XD
0:06 Taking a test. 0:20 Test is harder than you thought.
Honey come over
I can't, I'm busy
But I'm home alone
0:20
0:06 chilling on the couch 0:20 mom calls and says she is on the way back and you forgot to do the dishes
0:06: Lying on my bed - relaxed. 0:20: There's a murderer at the door!
this needs to be turned into a meme
0:06 when your mum tells you to clean up the house before she gets back
0:20 when you hear her pulling up in the driveway and you haven't cleaned shit
I swear Chopin was secretly half robot when he's alone in his home
because of his mom!😂
You're *lying*! Even if you were telling the truth, there's no need to Ko-SEI it! ;P
If Chopin is a half robot, Liszt is a superintelligent AI capable of remotely controlling 2 pianos at once and holding down up to 20 keys at a time.
Do you think this is fucking funny? ._.
No he was just an brilliant genius ^_^
0:00: Hey, I could actually learn this!
0:16: Wait what is that
0:20: Well, never mind
Toby Bradbury 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fax
0:20 hottest beat drop of 2016
More like hottest beat drop of 1832
And 2018
1832*
2019?
the end of the world?
No um okay...
after a year of testing I finally managed to play it 😍
I do not have enough fingers and toes for this piece. lol
IloveSPIDERZ I am sure you could play it if you practiced with a metronome
IloveSPIDERZ True XD
THEN USE YOUR NOSE ( Get the reference?)
Took me 2 days to learn 3 seconds of the fast part fml
C7 Z in about a week and a half you'll have the whole first part part down then you'll be able to do the rest easier because it's a series of scales, ain't it?
Me
XD but in the end, after you play this, you can play anything
XxVampiregirl17xX So true lmao. *clicks AOT opening* I stand corrected.
C7 Z SAMEEE now it has been 4 days I finished the first fast part both hands... BUT PRACTICING UP TO 8 HOURS A DAY FOR FOUR DAYS... like fuck I was proud of toccata et fugue... now... yk...
Me: ooh what's this song?!
*clicks*
Huh why does this seem familia-
Oh god
Oh no
THE FEELS
ha ha
LET IT RING
LET IT RING
*arima pulls out the emotion card + backstory*
Emi: WTF I TORTURED MYSELF WITH THIS TO BEAT YOUR TECHNIQUE AND YOU TRY AND PULL THIS SHIIIII-
*arima smirks and drives into the distance*
s o n g
Banky The Unikitty im not crying why would you think that

Your lie in April!!
0:05 a beautiful Sunday night, the stars are brightly shining while you read your favorite book under the moonlight, but then
0:18 you remembered you had 2 assignments you need to turn in due tomorrow and a math test
Yep! I wanna the beginnin in loop! U know If someone did?
I saw a few pianists perform this in the 2015 Chopin competition and some of them had problems, but I still can’t believe how they can play his Etudes at such a young age.
Honestly on of my favorite piano pieces!
Just as I would imagine a winter wind to sound. fantastic!
Just heard this a few hours ago in Shigatsu wa kimi no Uso, it's such an epic song!
Same. It is great and was really fitting in the show.
It's not a song. But yes it is epic :)
***** What would you call it then? Just a music piece? And what does "song" include then?
Shigatsu wa kimi no uso is a very great anime ^~^
Quallah Lumpuur
thanks, very interesting :)
I guess just instrumental tracks would be called "soundtracks" then? What about orchestral pieces? Orchestra symphony?
25/11 is such an intense piece. I try to write like Chopin, but generally imitate the Nocturnes rather than the etudes!
Your Nocturne is beautiful!
(Daydreaming, which sounds like a nocturne)
etudes are difficult to write because to write effective etudes your technique needs to be as good as chopin's himself! this isn't common nowadays unfortunately. saying that, i know nothing of your technique, but i still stand by my point. lol.
Chopins wanted his etudes extremely hard and excruciating they were known for the hardest in the world so don’t feel bad
LukeMusic You should write like yourself, you aren’t him, you are you. And you’re unique in another special way 😉
This is the most beautiful composition I have ever heard.
Truly Amazing
This has to be one of my favorite classical songs. If only I had the motivation to get good enough at the piano so as to play it. As of now, my fingers lack the agility and elegance of a pianist. The only sounds I can coax out of my electric keyboard are simple melodies easy enough for even a young child to play. Yet another day goes by where I mournfully glance at the black and white of the keys, hoping for the chance to create something extraordinary.
teddy bear art Just practice
if you can play it slowly, you can play it fast, only if you practice 40 hours a day
"let it ring"
+Paige Conner IKR
+Paige Conner Thats why I'm learning this
That's how I know of this song
yes
I JUST WATCHED THAT EPISODE SHIT
I love this piece so much.
The good thing about chopins songs is that they usually have a pattern, just like the chromatic scale, which made life 1000x easier when learning to play this piece
How to play this song: Rub your ass across the piano and bounce from bass to treble at the speed of light.
if we had a fat old ass, we would.
😂
When the fast part comes in, the left hand part is almost sounding like if you could voice it, it'd be, "it's really fu-cking cold out-side, (it's really fu-cking cold out side), it's so FUCKING cold, it's so FUCKING COLD,...." And on and on. Try it, it fits >_
accurate
omg i can't believe i tried it
See how shallow you guys are. Good God.
How the ... It actually works ...
+Just Me I love your profile pic. Cool to see other vocaloid fans on here. ^^
Best Synthesia version of chopin winter wind
thnks a lot for this, always wanted to learn this on the guitar!
So revolutionary kills your left hand. Black keys kills right hand. Winter wind kills both at the end.
+{GS} Cakez Chromatique kills your middle finger, ring finger and pinky finger. 😂
Jeear nice
+Jeear chromatique? chromatic.
Zachary Thomas Chromatique is the correct term (I believe it's the french term for chromatic) but the English term works too.
+Jeear eh chromatique is normal, it gets hard but i think opus 10 number 3 is harder for some reason xD
Only Emi Igawa could play this heck of a song.
+BlueUnicorn YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS
TRU TRU
+LeBlueUnicorn OMG IK
+LeBlueUnicorn emi igawa is not even human.
+melvncholiq aiza takeshi also could i think
I like to imagine this is how Chopin composed this piece...
0:12 "Hey, these are some nice, soft, elegant chords. Hmm...maybe a few more...you know what..."
0:20 "MAAAAAAXIMUMMMMMM OOOOOVERDRIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!"
Thanks for the tutorial, got it on first try
Give me 3 years and i'll be able to play this
yea, good luck on that...
+Zhmoses TV XD 5 years pass ''gotta keep on trying well this the 5000 fail yet"
+Dinkelstein Kerman ok...
ok....
+Dinkelstein Kerman Bragging won't get you anywhere, you know
never heard this piece in my life but it's fucking cool lol...
When people in the comments say “don’t worry, this piece is easy after you figure it out”. What they really mean is: “If you have already played piano for many years and put in thousands of hours of practice this piece will be easy after you figure it out”.
Does it actually matter? I mean does it matter where you found this piece from? People are acting like they're somehow better because another fan of piano showed it to them, or maybe they've been playing all their lifes and new this piece from the start. They act like they're better because they found it through their culture, rather than a show. Who gives a shit? We now have way more people listening to Chopin, a composer I didn't even know of before! Now I get to sit here and listen to "Chopin Radio" on pandora and find even more amazing work. Let's celebrate rather than shitting on each other.
FlavoredOverwatch Yep, you're right. It's so nice to see people coming back to learn piano or violin and lisening classical music. Every time I read those comments my soul tears apart. I'm glad this anime acomplished this.
^^Give this person a nobel peace prize
Nah
Whats chopin radio??
Nah bro. I watched a sad cartoon and found a Chopin's bipolar HIT
I was like I can play this!! Then I got to 0:19
+Mcjae 644 so damn beautiful tho
You still can, I believe in you
such a compelling piece.
0:06 This is easy I could play this 0:20 Oh nevermind
I loved this song from your lie in April.then I finally know how to play it. its a very fun song.
How long did it take for you to learn it?
the perfect version !!!
CHOPIN'S A GENIUSSSSSS
WE GET IT! YOUR LIE IN APRIL IS A GOOD ANIME!
First few notes: this won't be so bad.
Rest: [on the floor, crying]
It's so hypnotic, watching the notes instead of just listening to someone.
0:07
the calm before the storm
Playing those notes isn't really thaaat hard, the hard thing about this piece is the lenght, so your right hand needs much endurance. For example the right hand at 0:18 follows a strict schema and after you understood that you can learn it pretty fast. Your fingers will play it automatically after a rather small amount of time. Like I said, the hard thing is the endurance.
I would easily learn this but my keyboard doesn't have enough keys
Kacper Górski Same Here! I learned Fantasie Impromptu because of that.
Actually, I found a synthesia tutorial of Fantasie Impromptu last week and I decided to learn this during my summer holiday, cause I'm still very busy until the end of this week, wish me good luck!
***** Much practice, repitition, learning various techniques and "tricks" to get more flexible fingers and much endurance. I know that's what everyone answers to that question, but it's actually the only way. Of course every human learns in a different tempo.
+サンデル Until you post a video of you playing the piece accurately at tempo, I highly disagree with you.
Scary thing is? Etude means 'Study'. So technically this is a finger warm-up.
+GoldTheAngel fucking great xD
Oh my god
Chopin: Here is your first lesson.
Student: 😲🔫
Wait a second.....!!!! Étude means study not warm up! Don't feed sadistic teachers ideas XDDD
Chopin is a robot comfirmed.
Thank you!
Incrível!
In Soviet Russia, you don't play piano, piano plays you.
1:52 how does someone stretch their left hand that far?
I'm pretty sure its impossible. What makes it worse is that I have small hands so I cant even play the tenths :'(
+Katastrophe MLG lol I can only just about play a ninth
+Andre Bagalso let's not forget Rachmaninov he's also not human.
+Kaif Qais Use your nose.
Those are arpeggios
Chopin is a Genius!!
I love this
"Tutorial"
When your friend plays Fur Elise, you play this...
My life would be complete if i could learn this piece.
oh thank you i can definitely play this after just looking at it
3:09 this is posible?
Mateo Villalva
yeah cause the pedals
Sustain
No it's not
Use the pedal
sostenuto pedal is used
"Maybe a new piece I could try to learn... not that bad... OH GOD NO"
ahhhhhh. Thank you :D
perfect !
I tried learning this on the left hand and there’s no way my hand can stretch that far at 0:32
play the 2 notes with your thumb
Any genius know what the scalar idea is with the insane right hand stuff that starts at about 0:23? Is it descending in a particular intervallic pattern or something? And what scale is it? Thanks.
+Mac Of course it has a pattern. If you view what's happening in the right hand as two voices, the upper voice is descending in a chromatic scale and the lower voice is just playing notes of the A minor chord also while descending.
Marioverehrer Yeah but ion the right hand is it descending in thirds or something and then shifting down a step? There's definitely some sort of parallel movement.
+Mac I studied this pieces and the only thing I can really is hand movement rather than finger movement. And I had to learn the individual notes as chords so the fingering would me self explanatory. Aaaaaaaaaand patients lots and lots of patients.
+MrDaxjack Patients eh? That sounds like malpractice if I ever heard it
+MrDaxjack Patients eh? That sounds like malpractice if I ever heard it
Just about to start learning piano. (Once it comes in the mail) This is definitely a dream piece for me to learn, along with Liebestraum and Liebesleid.
This a very nice tutorial dude, i almost be able to play the first note.
It seems that my english is almost too.
This is my second favorite Chopin etude behind No. 5, but The tempo feels too fast. You should adjust it to match the tempos of how humans play it xD
This is the tempo that humans play it at
Jarlath Mc Donnell Yeah, I guess it's hard to program midi files to slow down and speed up at certian points. Listening to Evengy Kissin's winter wind performance, the intro is much slower than in this video.
In fact that's the normal speed but no one can do it at that speed XD
Am I the only person here who listened to this and then watched Your Lie In April (Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso) just because it had this song
Jup me too
KevKev same here
Kayden Bucher oh yeah so do i
Kayden Bucher Other way around for me xD
That's really wierd especially if you not into anime but perhaps your into music???
I'm trying to learn this and this video really helped me visualize!
How hard it is.....
GREAT
Half of these people are from “your lie in april” when im here for chopin.. anyone else like me?
after year of practice i can proudly announce that i can play 3:14 - 3:18
Bricky Mayhem Yeah, me too
Same
What? How
He got us in the first half not gonna lie!
Qué MARAVILLA!
Give me two weeks and a half and I'll be able to do this.
NEVERMIND
LMAO. Did you add "NEVERMIND" once you reached 20 seconds?
i love how 2 weeks later ur like NOPE FUCK THIS
Piano is just like a rhythm game, except this game is like lv99
+Kim Julian
Level 49 honestly, level 99 is a black-midi version of this.
Extreme 99
Pretty cold.
Thank you so Much, for finally taking one of my requests. Keep up the amazing work! I still recommend that you do "Shirushi ED3 from SAO 2" and "Liar Mask" (TehIshter) from Akame ga Kill. Once again, great job!
It’s her anger...
And her loneliness
javidestroyer1 red and yellow
My hands hurt after *watching* that...
When I watch this (a few years ago) for the first time I thought that I will never be able do play this, but about 2 months ago I watched it again and then I said to myself that I have to learn it even of its sickness. So I started learning it and now I‘m able to play the whole piece, not perfectly but I can play it, and I‘m really satisfied because I praticed it for 2 months. The same was with volodos‘ transcription of turkish march which you can see on my channel. So good look and hold on.
I can now say that I have fully mastered this song. :DDDD
FINALLY 3MONTHS I GOT IT!!!!!!!!
GFTW Piano upload a video
miguel cafeta cuba Got to get a new piano (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
my hand hurts just by watching this xd
Not kidding, had a hand cramp while watching xD
dude i started learning this piece because I figured i would just play the left hand for most of it and when it became necessary I'd learn some right hand!! it's worked for me(: and now I don't have to do those crazy chromatic scales
How can these be considered tutorials xD
I think i was a little drunk when i wrote this
