- What's this? A Comic Dub two days in a row? I got a couple others in the works but I hope you guys enjoy this emotional Sonic dub! It was a lot of fun to put together!

"They don't need me anymore" it feels so sad and lonely, but on the other hand there is a feeling of completion. After frontiers it feels like we might be at the end of Sonic's character arc.
But it wont be the end of the series. Whatever adventures Sonic will be on next, I'm interested to see what future companions he may make.
Maybe their are in diferrent paths now. But it's not the end. One day their Will reunite for another adventure together. With their own adventures AND stories. But their come back. ¡Because never say goodbye forever the Sonic héroes!
@@jeremiasnicolasbustos5001 i know, of course there will be no farewell with Sonic heroes, never, but i think Sonic at the moment is the best version of him self, he has grown a lot, and also Tails, Amy and knuckles
@@portavin13 their always have a moment for themselfs AND maybe me don't see that, but yeah se also grow UP with them.
If they do intend on following up on that ending in “Frontiers” and have the characters go their separate ways, I wonder what the next entry in the series will be like. Will it just be focused on Sonic by himself? Or will they have all the other characters fill in the roles? Or will it be a whole new cast altogether?

Sonic gave his friends the confidence to spread their wings, and knowing he'll always be there when they really need him is a giant comfort. He may feel like he's left behind, but really, he's waiting for them at the finish line.
Those... are some of the most beautiful words I've ever heard.
Where you start and where you end aren't often all that different, just your mindset shifts and shows you something you may have missed before. You grow, you improve, you *grow up,* and you continue forth.
Like you said, he may feel left behind but he's at the finished line waiting for them. But he's also the rest stops along the way, a constant support always there if you need it, to cheer you on even if you think you can't go much further, a place to take a break, to ease your weight, if only for a little while.
Sonic probably can't grow much more from here, other than learning to be more emotionally vulnerable/open with his friends and fam. But we saw him go from a child with a rebellious streak to a rambunctious teenager, unconcerned of the government's ideas of right and wrong, to a young adult set in his ideology, his morality. This is so much more than what I'd expect from a static character, and I love him for it. He may be a static character, but he's never been one to stay in one place for too long OR stick to traditions 😂

I doubt they'd stop making them but maybe final one in the time line and other main titles spinoff in the middle between the newest and any future ones

I see this as canon, with all Sonic’s friends moving on and starting their own lives post-frontiers, and Sonic left all on his own, so he resides to the only company he has, Chip, who is ‘part of the earth that he treads’. Good to know the little guy is still there for Sonic 🥺
People always act like fictional characters shouldn't have their own issues or should just get over their problems because they went through worse. That's stupid. Even if this is a fan comic, it characterizes a part of Sonic we should honestly see more. Don't get me wrong, I still like Sonic to be Sonic, but he still has the heart of a person at the end of the day. Even though it's a fan comic, it shows that Sonic has been stressed about what's been going on. Sonic is a hero, but even heroes have emotions, thoughts, and moments of self-worth. Sonic cares a lot for his friends and likely wouldn't know what to do without them. Honestly, if one of Sonic's friends got severely hurt because of someone, that someone better start praying.
Sonic is loyal and caring, willing to do whatever it may take to rescue the people he cares about, and when they all find their own path, I'd expect Sonic to shed some tears.

People used to say me that Sonic shouldn't cry or Sonic shouldn't do bad things because he's a hero and a role-model for youngs. But this is wrong... Fictional characters should act like persons. Persons can feel hurt, betrayed and upset. It's part of life, fictional or not.

Sonic frontiers put a lot into perspective…. It seems that the sonic crew is growing up, even eggman seems tired…. At the end of it all, time moves on, and so do we. It’s time for everyone to find their true purpose and calling, whether that be tails leaving to become a hero and his own person with his own life, knuckles to travel the world to uncover mysteries untold and freeing himself from the shackles of the past, Amy to bring peace and love for all around the world….. and yes…. Even sonic to discover his true purpose in life, a truth only he alone can find.
tbh, i thinks sonics porupose is being the hero. no matter what happens he will be there when somthing is wrong with the world. the metal virus ,the end, evrey god that shows up trying to bring destruction he is there. for the world he cares about. thats just what makes sonic a commpleing characater.
even when he is making jokes.
If they keep the ending of Frontiers relevant with how the next mainline game goes, they should show something similar to this in how Sonic actually feels pretty lonely after spending so much time with his friends in some vein similar to the "I'm alone" moments from Sonic movie 1 which could really make Sonic a more complex character

Totally agree. I like Sonic but I think he deserves to have his own character arc, and the angle of him potentially dealing with loneliness without his friends fully by his side would help make him more complex.
I feel like the next Sonic game should be centered around a story where Sonic learns that while his friends are his greatest strength, he's strong on his own too. Maybe they can update his design so he'll be carrying something that reminds him of each of them. I don't see Frontiers as an end but as a beautiful beginning for a new story.

Meanwhile, Caliburn is right there next to him collecting dust. Nice Easter eggs, but I doubt Sonic would bring Caliburn or the evil Genies lamp to his world. But overall, I loved it.
Caliburn I could see, but the final scene of secret rings has him dumping Erazor's lamp in the lava of Evil Foundry so that definitely didn't come back with him
Honestly if Sonic was going to be talking to his friends who kept him company other than Tails, I feel like he should of brought the presumably fake caliburn along and Shahra's ring. Althoough maybe that would make it cluttered but it would be interested if Sonic was starting to pine for those friends who could stay by his side all the time in the past and keep up

So freaking beautiful! Sonic did a wonderful job raising Tails but his friends will always need him and be with him regardless. Just like how he helped Chip and saw what he could truly do in Unleased.☺️
They could've made it so much cooler with:

I think the "I see now" was intentional to be similar to Endless Possibility! Just worded to make more sense and more subtle. Those were the vibes I immediately got and was like "ayyy, I see what you did there!" I read other comics from this artist and she uses references to Sonic songs often, so it was most likely intentional!
But hey think of it as a new start for Sonic. Heck maybe he’ll find new allies and friends. Who knows maybe he’ll find some familiar faces that we would cheer for seeing them in the game continuity.
Maybe he'll get Ray and Mighty on his new team
They're never really mentioned all that much anymore

this is honestly so sad and so wholesome at the same time, but it shows how much the franchise has matured, and the characters along with it. I'm super proud of the direction that Sega took Sonic the Hedgehog in Frontiers

Boy those were the days. Fun games! Cartridge form! Mindless play! God I miss that! But an adventure must end to give it true meaning! Keep up the Brill work!😊

I think this comic is a good take on why Sonic hasn't worn Chip's bracelet since the end of Unleashed. Sure there could be other reasons like the game animators didn't know or just didn't do it, but it serves as a good theory as to why he doesn't wear it. Still. it's a pretty darn good comic.

Hey, after I watched this, I just watched the teaser to Sonic: Remembrance, and I'm now subscribed as it sounds interesting and if this "communications device" and the changing lives forever part of the synopsis and how the title of this is "Remembrance" all mean what I think it means, then this series might really be interesting to me

Don't Sonic's story isn't ending the others are finding their own adventures and sonic will do just fine. Plus, Team sonic will always be together no matter what. So his character development can still keep going and he can still improve. As they say there are Endless possibilities.
