I loved the movie. In some scenes it brought up tears but also it brings hope and for me it brought more understanding for refugees, which I have to admit I just started to have since a view years. Very important to tell stories like that. I was afraid the movie would be boring and just about training for the olympics. But fortunately I was wrong.
“Swimmers” is an excellent movie based on the true story of 2 young, female Syrian refugees who travel a gruelling and exhausting journey from war torn Syria to Berlin. They encounter all kinds of hardships including fraud, corruption, neglect, violence and loss - all concepts that young girls should never be exposed to. Despite all that, they rise above these negative life experiences to represent their family and their country in a positive way.

Absolutely amazing movie. Everyone needs to watch this movie
That ocean scene is what make legends.
My name is Bruce Yang and I have a great story to tell as well. I am the first person with autism to swim the English Channel in September 2018! I am now retraining to do it again for 2025!
Netflix is doing it right with great contents on the 4th quarter of 2022.
No one can hinder the firm resolve of a determined soul!
Syrian people are hard workers and warriors since old history ,
I need this movie right now
Just saw this yesterday with my mom. She (and I) loved it, so much so that she was cheering for Yuszra during the Olympics race scene).
The sudden strike of unstoppable track gave us goosebumps! The story is damn spectacular. ✨🙌❤️🔥
this sent shivers...im a swimmer myself and it made me cry---WATER IS MY LIFE...without it am just a fish on land...
It gave me goosebumps,
Unfortunately I didn’t heard about these sisters before, the movie is very harsh and true , I don’t know if that’s the regular route to Europe or they compressed all routes in one , the suffering of these human beings won’t go easily on the humans history, big thanks to everyone who worked on this masterpiece 🙏
Wow what a beautiful story! I highly recommend watching it
i litterally got the most violent chills from this and i havnt even watched the movie
I am so glad this is out!
Really Thank you Netflix.
These girls are legends!! ❤❤
I hope a lot of people are going to watch this gem! 😃
Finally a good movie! Loved it
It's one of the best movies that have been produced by Netflix
chills over my spine....
My mum taught piano to the daughters of the producer. He would wonder our backyard every lesson, on the phone, making sure this movie happened. So glad that it became such a success, it truly is an incredible story.
Really? It's amazing. Can I find it separate from the movie so I can listen to it? I really loved it
I AM IN TEARS FROM THE TRAILER I DONT KNOW WHY
This seems to be daring story of human dignity and caliber, especially of two females who never let down their spirit in spite of all hurdlws.
