Wow! As a very young athlete that sucks at his sport but is willing to make a huge change, this is extremely informative!!! I did not expect all these things to be so relatable with other athletes. Thank you so much for being an amazing guide! ❤

Came across your channel a few days ago. Am always sceptic when people talk about high level peak performance. This content is great and am enjoying it. I am in a very high performing team in my profession, and these "subtleties" as I call them, that you have pointed out are very true. And normal people can't relate to me when I talk about them, it's like it a foreign language. The loneliness is a reality that i realise most aren't willing to accept.

Thanks, really appreciate this comment - one of the reasons I started making content was due to being fed up of the other garbage out there 😅

@@SamMartinPeakPerformance of course! An interesting topic would be how top athletes find a winning formula. Being a combination of mental, physical, lifestyle choices that they’ve had to refine and adopt
To become a top top performer. Novak is one example, Ronaldo aswell, and others such as giannis. A constant search for a winning formula that works for myself as a performer is an ongoing pursuit. Just a thought.

You never fail to disappoint brother, great video once again 🏆
Can you make a video on the “dark side” of athletes and how tapping into it can excel the performance (like Michael Jordan or Kobe) Thank you once again Sam 🙏🏼

Some very good points and insights. I can definitely see how life after competitive sports can be a difficult transition. Probably why many athletes stay in the game to long, come back, or find a second career around the sport like coaching or broadcasting. Anything to try and recapture that feeling.

the answer is simply, put so many reps in the skills you have (shooting, passing, skill moves or whatever) that you start doing them naturally on the field and don't need think about them to execute them. take this as an example : we can all walk naturally without thinking of it and that's because we've done it every single day from the beginning of our lives. hope that helps you as it did to me and also keep in mind that you will have ups and downs no matter how good you get at the game so don't destroy yourself for ur mistakes but rather think of what you could've done better next time and that's what i do to gain more confidence every time i play football
