I have had my Stripology ruler for several years now. I bought it the first year I started quilting as believe in having the right tool for the job. It is an investment. However, it saves time, money, effort in its cutting efficiency, fabric utilization and accuracy--so it more than pays for itself. (These are my criteria for any specialty ruler--which is why I buy them for foundational blocks which I used often. (triangle in squares, flying geese, cat's cradle, split recs, diamond recs)). I have experienced slippage with the ruler. I put a weight on it, when I'm cutting. This Stripology ruler is an MVP. It claims you will save 75% of your time cutting, and endorse that claim.
Hi! At 72 I have loved strip piecing for 40 years, and just got my first stripology ruler. I find it helps my aging hands and eyes maintain precision and I expect it will help me keep the fun in fabric play for at least 10 more years! Enjoy!
You are incorrect regarding the rotary cutters that can be used with this ruler. You can use the Martelli rotary cutter which is actually better designed for this type of ruler Gudrun goes into detail About the types of rotary cutters that you can use with her ruler
Quilt cut rulers are great. They are not any more sturdier than CG rulers (I have both). But they are cheaper. They have a ruler bundle that is perfect for new quilters. They are also marked well.

Love the colors you choose. I have a terrible time choosing colors.
I love my stripology ruler
I received my first order of your fabric a few days ago. The fabrics are exquisite and silky to the feel. I will be ordering again. Tks Melanie.
So glad to hear it! :)
Easier to count inches if you cut starting from zero in the left and advance to right.
I feel the ease is the same, and I like working right to left when cutting. It works out best for me. 😊
@@SouthernCharmQuilts then turn the ruler upside down she didn’t design it to go from the right to the left

I know this video is really old.. I hear that Quilt Cut Rulers are fairly identical to Creative Grids and a lot sturdier..FYI
Interesting! I'll look into them. Thanks!

Thank you! 😊
I'm bummed that cutting yardage isn't recommended.
Cutting directions would be in the pattern 😊
