He looks pretty damn good in a lot of these clips. The haters in this comment section are pretty clueless to the details real hockey fans can see. He definitely was a great choice at #2.
6:05 Levshunov made a very selfish move to not pass to his d partner for a one time shot in the slot. Instead he tries to deke a defender, fumbles the puck and then shoots it from the boards. Needs to become a better team player.
He gets caught up ice almost every shift with not enough energy or effort to recover on the back check. Either reason is still wrong. He's 2-3 years away and I think not picking Demidov is going to be Kyle's big miss, unfortunately. Not saying Arty won't be a good player, he was just not 1.02.
So your analysis is: he won’t learn from his mistakes. Who’s your fave 19yr old dman prospect right now? I know you like the flashy forward demidov. Forwards develop faster
@beachpicnicjoy hes going to be what everyone said he might be if "everything goes right" ...a top 4 defenseman. Big mistake to pass on a talent like demidov for a project you reached for at number 2. You do that for a makar or Hughes, not a guy you hope you can teach into the role. Lol n behold, a true number 1 d guy is in this draft coming up, and all anybody talks about is who can the hawks trade for or sign ufa that can comparably play with Bedard. They had that problem solved last year.
The Blackhawks have to hope this kid pans out… I don’t see it. Yes he has 1-2 good shifts in the AHL but this kid is at best a 3-4 round player. With years of development in the minors. I think he was a mistake to take 2nd overall. This is gonna hurt the hawks for years to come.
Love what im seeing from the 19yr old dman! 👏
that second shift really gave some great glimpses of what he can be both in the d zone jumping on pucks and in the o zone controlling play
Thank you for putting this together !

5:20 wtf is he doing? Why play the position of defense if you want to be a center? Hes below the goal line just watching everyone

@danialholland784 Porter Martone NEEDS to be the pick. Exactly what the Hawks lack throughout their talent pool.
