      Schaefer did collide really hard with the goal post. Imagine how that projects to him collapsing down on a puck carrier.

    Sharks get anywhere between 1-4, I'll be satisfied. (Hoping for Shaffer though... Him, Dickinson, a few other prospects and some free agents.. the sharks d-core will be fine)
    Misa, hagens, martone would be great too. (Just means the sharks with their massive and growing cap space will go to the ufa's more for their defense)

    Hagens is a perfect second line centreman for Bédard or celebrini but they could also get a franchise defenseman. Chicago and San Jose are getting there second piece to a future powerhouse. Took oilers 8 years to be contenders since mcdavids draft.

      It’s gonna come down to the team selecting #1 in the end. A team will have to ask themself if they wanna pass on a potential #1 dman or a #1 scoring center/winger..
      If you ask me, I think it may be way harder to find yourself a true #1 dman in the NHL. Not that Schaefer is a guarantee #1, but if you look at Makar, Heiskanen, Hughes, McAvoy, etc- what do they all have in common? They can skate, have offense, can defend, they can essentially do it all. Schaefer checks most of those boxes. He’s a good choice to take that chance on

    • @centralhockey12
      @centralhockey12 9 дней назад

      I would say the top 10 is pretty good. After that it starts to become a wild card and anyone can get chosen at any point. It’s been like this the last few years it feels like.
      I wouldn’t look too much into future line projections. Hagens has high end skill, if a team lacks that then he may have a good shot to be on line 1. It really depends on team development at the end, for any player

    • @centralhockey12
      @centralhockey12 9 дней назад

      To my above comment- just to give an example- how about Nico Hischier. At the time, it was Nico vs Nolan for #1. It was a pretty weak forward year for drafting and Nico was looked at as a low end #1 pick. However, he’s a pretty dang good player. 2nd line for New Jersey but I strongly believe some teams out there would gladly welcome Hischier on their first line.
      Macklin Celebrini, deemed a lower level #1 pick but he was the consensus #1. Was not “Bedard” hype level. But look at him as an 18 year old for San Jose…easily their best player. He’s having an outstanding rookie season. Can you imagine what he’ll be when he develops man strength and is 24-25 years old? Probably a consistent 100 point player.
      Just throwing examples! Projections is hard to do, it’s all about team situations and development
