When I was at school (UK) everyone knew someone who owned a NEO-GEO, the only problem was that when you dug deeper everyone was talking about the same kid 😂.
First thing first: I love your energy 😎 About prices I don't know at all as I never even thought of starting a Neo Geo collection due to them being so high for good old games. Your collection looks amazing, and I love those big boxes. Yes, Metal Slug has to complete your collection. Also the games you talked about intrigue me, as there are some consoles I quite don't know, so their catalogue is kind of new to me...I love Neo Geo graphics and colors 🔥
For me here in the UK the Amiga 500 was the most amazing thing I'd ever played and miles ahead of anything else. The concept of the neo geo being truly arcade quality is mind blowing. I remember later on that the imported games alone in the early 90s were £150+ each which was almost as much as a SNES or Megadrive console. Never saw one running in the flesh (plastic)

NAM 1975 is the very first NEO-GEO game. $300 for Riding Hero is a f***en joke, it is not worth a damn, hope it at least has the original link cable still in the box!! That was one of the 6 games that came in a package deal from USA about 10 years ago, it was about $250 for all 6 and those were new old stock, unopened (Ninja Combat, Ghost Pilots, NAM, Alpha Mission 2, Magician Lord were the other 5 games)
He basically flipped everything he bought....all he does Is buy stuff and trade It back and flip money...dunno why people follow him on RUclips tbh. He Is a cancer for the retrogame community

You've got me going out looking for Neo Geo's now. I always wanted one as a kid but my parents (read my father) refused to pay that much for a game. Now they're still expensive but I can fund the habit on my own.
I have a funny story about Magician Lord! When I was in middle school, there was one other kid I met who had a Neo Geo (every I knew had SNES/Sega Megadrive). So we did a cartridge swap. I swapped him Andro Dunos for Magician Lord. Problem was, my cartridge was in pristine condition. His was in bad shape, to the point where the game itself would freeze and glitch up. Worst yet, the kid ghosted me for weeks. By the time I caught up with him, I was so upset I threatened to beat him up if he didn't give me my cartridge back. Not my proudest moment, but he agreed to swap back. And I rushed home to test my cartridge and thankfully it still worked. Never traded again. I might splurge for Magician Lord once I get my system up and running, though. I think my goal is to collect the games I actually played as a kid (in arcades). So I have a handful of cartridges I could buy.

Oh Queen, Queen, Queen, these prices! I was in the NG scene back in the 90's, had a SWEET collection of AES I purchased mostly new. Prices? MOTW new $375. Slug 3 new $380. SamshoVSpecial $400, allll minty fresh, had every real bout, and every KOF. Now I'm 51 and sold all those gems and still heavy in MVS, including my Neo Geo Japan candy cab 29" 4 slot. BUT QUEEN, those prices! You DO know about consolized MVS yes? Soooooo much cheaper, and SAME GAMES. Yes AES is seductive, I get it, but if you concentrate on just gameplay its better IMO and doesnt break the bank. Think about it! i was able to collect full MVS original KOF series and Fatal Fury series without break my bank with my original MVS CBOX console. i still love my AES consoles along with my AES games brought before covid price increase tax
Pure nostalgia! I still own some of these games! Watching your content is inspiring me to put together my own gaming den. These cartridges were not cheap back in the day, so my collection is very small, and will likely not expand beyond the handful that I have (Baseball Stars 2, Super Sidekicks 2, Andro Dunos, Burning Fight, World Heroes 2, Spin Master, Samurai Shodown, Art of Fighting) It's been a lifetime since I fired mine up, and I moved around a lot so I'm curious to see if the thing actually will still turn on.
NeoGeo was seen as unobtainable for most kids growing up. Games were literally 2 or 3 or more times the price of the other consoles and thats IF you could find them. They were not stocked in most places. Lots of cool memories going to the import shops in the city seeing these brand new. These prices make me a little less guilty about the cash ive spent of my Japanese SHMUP collection. Glad to see you are only buying the games you want to PLAY. Some of the higher end AES titles are just insanely expensive. Love the vid Queen! Keep rockin ❤🤘
Getting a deal vs getting ripped off depends on the individual. If you pay an exorbitant amount of 💰. Or somewhere in the middle of what the seller wants and you want to pay. If you feel like it's a good deal. Then it is a good deal. At the end of the day what matters is if you're happy with your purchase. Now of course if what you pay for doesn't work, then yes a person got ripped off.

My humble opinion is that I would only drop alot of money on games if the deal is in my favor. I would not pay any more than 60-70% of the current value. Especially if i am being sold as if its a flash deal. I would consider 50% a steal cuz i could resell them anytime i want and recoup my money. A game store would only pay 50% of the actual value. If you are buying a lot of games from a single seller they should cut the price based on that alone. They are moving alot of product and its saving them time. If you were charged full price per cart i would say you got caught up in the excitement a bit. I have all the mini systems you mention and about 40 or so MVS carts for my mvs cbox. The bright-side for you is that you can make videos about them and use the games as a business expense. I like both you and Mr Wrightway videos. It may also help to sell or trade your way to more neo geo cuz it is a huge expense and if you ever need money it will be the first thing to sell.
Hi, you can use an adapter on your NeoGeo for use MVS games, but provide a more powerfull power supply than the original. My AES V3.5 + AES game : 14,5 watts + JGO adapter & MVS metal Slug : 16 watts + adapter & MVS bootleg 161 in 1 : 19 watts Sorry for my poor english.
Honestly, those prices are about right for US AES titles. Shoulda went with the Japanese versions because you coulda had all those games for half the price with better artwork. For Metal Slug I recommend you go the NCI route. They’re by far the highest quality reproductions available & they should run 300-400 each.

I was an MVS Neo Geo cartridge collector back when those games were cheap to get. Think I have 20 or so carts in a box out in my garage. I think my Windjammers cart (probably the best game in my collection) was like 30 bucks then now it's around $200. AES games are really cool collectables and legit SNK Neo Geo history but those games are stupid expensive especially complete in box like yours

neogeo is really cool. but you got to be a millionaire to collect for it. Had one back in the day but sold it. back in the day when prices where 600/1000 dollar at best. average was 100/200 dollar then.
Yeah, its great to have a big collection. I had a fullset of MVS but finally I sold it. Just played a few of them but the rest was filling the shelf. Finally I sold my collection and I'm into emulation now and it's perfect for me. I can sleep better now.😅

Holy crap! I am super jealous. I've always wanted an Neo Geo but still haven't pulled the trigger. I've got my 1up Arcade modded to play a bunch of arcade games including Neo Geo but it's just not the same as having real hardware and the cartridges
And I think you got a pretty good deal on his prices , but I hope he gave a cutie like you a discount due to 1 buying in a Bundle $hould save some money and your genuine interest in the product. For example,if you buy a lot of cocaine from a distributor you shouldn't be paying for each individual gram, you pay a lump sum for a key or what have you. Same thing here

If the games are worth it to you and you can afford it then get it. The advice that I would give is set a limit for your spending and stick to your boundaries. If someone gives you a price and jacks it up another $100 the next day that's a red flag in my book. Especially if you have given them so much of your money already.

oww you over payed on some of those titles especially for super spy and riding hero. but i always say its worth as much as you are willing to pay for it. you got a nice collection going so for just wish you werent taxed so much for them.
1 you got the uncensored version of NAM 1975. Pretty cool! 2 There is a sedoku 3 as well. Harder to get in clam shell. 3 recco for soccer brawl next. Fave sports game beating out bbs2. I actually prefer the first (but not the nes port :p)
There is no "censored" version of NAM as such, that was done in some parts of Europe because they had to cover the legs and chest (for what reason i have no idea, it is a real shame they defaced them the way they did) US copies were not done that way, those were unsold new old stock that was snapped up out of Euro regions and sold in large numbers in USA, and were marked prior to arrival in USA. The carts are all identical, the game isn't different per region. Nine times out of ten you could peel the Euro/USA label off the cart and there was a factory perfect Japan label underneath it. (Magician Lord and Ninja Combat often had the Euro/USA label stuck over the Japan original too) The actual insert was not marked, it is the plastic case and the cart sticker usually, in many cases the manual was also marked. Sengoku 3 only came in the snap lock case. Never came any other way, if you see it in the soft case it is a bootleg. That game was HEAVILY canibalised to make Strikers 1945 conversions back in the day because it was one of a very small few that used the PROG BK1 and CHA FIO boards needed for a direct one to one swap for Strikers. Every game released in 1995 or later came with a snap lock case. I know loads are seen both ways, that was never the way it was back when these were new. Absolutely agree on Soccer Brawl, AWESOME game and loads of fun for multi player round-robyn sessions!!

I think my Windjammers cart (probably the best game in my collection) was like 30 bucks then now it's around $200. AES games are really cool collectables and legit SNK Neo Geo history but those games are stupid expensive especially complete in box like yours
Woke up and this beautiful....goddess of an angel was in my "recommend" list. Let me be the first to say that her channel PROBABLY ended up on everyone's channel due to algorithm. Maybe she's a fast up and Comer and RUclips sent her to everyone's channel. Not EXACTLY sure how it works, but, I'm sure it's cause she's on a rise.

neogeo is really cool. but you got to be a millionaire to collect for it. Had one back in the day but sold it. back in the day when prices where 600/1000 dollar at best. average was 100/200 dollar then.

Yeah, its great to have a big collection. I had a fullset of MVS but finally I sold it. Just played a few of them but the rest was filling the shelf. Finally I sold my collection and I'm into emulation now and it's perfect for me. I can sleep better now.😅

Holy crap! I am super jealous. I've always wanted an Neo Geo but still haven't pulled the trigger. I've got my 1up Arcade modded to play a bunch of arcade games including Neo Geo but it's just not the same as having real hardware and the cartridges

And I think you got a pretty good deal on his prices , but I hope he gave a cutie like you a discount due to 1 buying in a Bundle $hould save some money and your genuine interest in the product. For example,if you buy a lot of cocaine from a distributor you shouldn't be paying for each individual gram, you pay a lump sum for a key or what have you. Same thing here

If the games are worth it to you and you can afford it then get it. The advice that I would give is set a limit for your spending and stick to your boundaries. If someone gives you a price and jacks it up another $100 the next day that's a red flag in my book. Especially if you have given them so much of your money already.

There is no "censored" version of NAM as such, that was done in some parts of Europe because they had to cover the legs and chest (for what reason i have no idea, it is a real shame they defaced them the way they did) US copies were not done that way, those were unsold new old stock that was snapped up out of Euro regions and sold in large numbers in USA, and were marked prior to arrival in USA. The carts are all identical, the game isn't different per region. Nine times out of ten you could peel the Euro/USA label off the cart and there was a factory perfect Japan label underneath it. (Magician Lord and Ninja Combat often had the Euro/USA label stuck over the Japan original too) The actual insert was not marked, it is the plastic case and the cart sticker usually, in many cases the manual was also marked.
Sengoku 3 only came in the snap lock case. Never came any other way, if you see it in the soft case it is a bootleg. That game was HEAVILY canibalised to make Strikers 1945 conversions back in the day because it was one of a very small few that used the PROG BK1 and CHA FIO boards needed for a direct one to one swap for Strikers. Every game released in 1995 or later came with a snap lock case. I know loads are seen both ways, that was never the way it was back when these were new.
