- What appears to be a bouquet of silver flowers is actually crafted from silver forks and spoons upon closer inspection!

The British artist, Ann Carrington is known for creating elegant sculptures from discarded objects such as knives, spoons, buttons, cans, and coins. Inspired by the gardens at Cheekwood and the Cheek family, Carrington’s installation will include 33 works throughout the period rooms.

How INCREDIBLE and INSPIRING!!! You are quite an accomplished woman!! At what point/ age (+/-) did you take up & train in welding? Thank you so much for following your muse and for joyfully sharing your beautiful sculptures with the world! Best to all!
“How industrious. How creative.” Seems you are Ma’am. Beautiful lesson on following one’s inspiration and imagination to create art. Thank you for sharing your work so it can be seen on the Pacific Coast, US.
Oh this work is so beautiful…what a joy to see…my jaw literally dropped! The spider web looks like free floating finest embroidery. How I wish I could see it in person!

I love her art. I love spiderwebs (and bird’s nests) for their beauty and practicality, and the engineering that goes into them. Wow. Keep on with this incredible art!!

The woodwork of Gibbons is like your silverware creations. Beautiful…..
Fantastic--loved this video introduction! Intriguing and beautiful works made from found objects--much of it cutlery. Now where are those sets of spoons I put away?
