Thanks for the video. I had to replace my Shark Fin antenna for a Kia Carnival. Kia spare parts wanted $556 for the part plus $540 to install (They said it would take 3 hours) I got a second hand Shark Fin antenna on ebay for $65 and with the help of your video it took me only 25 minutes to install. Thanks again.
Any special tools so you don’t mess up the headliner
I did the exact same thing, backing up into an obstacle! Where did you get the replacement, and what part did you have to order? I noticed on a Kia OEM parts site there are several pieces you can order. I don't want to just order the shark fin part, and only the outside shell comes without the electronic parts!
I sort of put the broken bits together. It is kind of working but not as original.
I tried eBay and saw some scrap retailer selling it.
@@loxuresearch5445 What does it do? Is it just the AM/FM radio or GPS too?
@@clintonsmith1612 I think radio for sure, AM/FM and digital, not for GPS in my case.
@@loxuresearch5445 yeah cool, thanks for the info. Does your car have factory gps?
@@clintonsmith1612 Yes, it is built-in from KIA.
How easy was it to reattach?
Not too hard, but it isn't easy ;-)
