      Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Since we sin, we deserve a punishment and that punishment is death. However, Jesus saved us from that penalty. Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. Jesus took our punishment even though He didn’t have to. He never sinned. (He didn’t deserve death) God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but He died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He saved us from sin! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things:
      1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin)
      2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you
      3. Confess that Jesus is Lord.
      I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. This doesn’t mean that we should go on sinning, but we should love a holy life to honor and thank Jesus! Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! I don’t anyone to go to hell! God bless you! Read the Bible!❤️🔥🕊😃

    Hey, I have a question about sin:
    So we know that as Christians no matter how sancitfied we are with the Holy Spirit we will still sin every single day in thought, word and deed (In other words no matter how hard we try we will always be habitually sinning) and we know that almost every sin we commit is willfully done.
    So what would be the difference between a Christian who for example is indulging in sexual immortality and Christian who isnt. Most people would say that the person who is indulging in sexual immorality is sinning willfully, but because every sin is wilful and Chrsitians sin every day, every Christian is technically living in willful sin.
    So how do we distinguish between Christians who "sin" and Christians who "sin wilfully" if every sin is wilful?

      Long answer: The Proverb goes, the righteous man will fall down seven times and get back up, but the wicked will fall into calamity. As we repent, we actually sin less. We sin still but, less.

      [16] Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
      If one Christian is confessing their wrongs, and looking for help, that person is trying to flee from sexual immorality and making steps to change. The other isn't trying to repent and is not filled with godly sorrow.

    • @Asiuuu
      @Asiuuu 3 месяца назад +2

      For the second paragraph, thats, not entirely, but basically how it is. The bible tells us that the curse of our flesh has left us with a sinful nature. It is the thing that causes you to sin the most I'd say. And the most we can do about it every time we fall into sin is to ask God to help us flee from sin and protect us. There are points where God does protect us like an umbrella from sin, and at times takes that umbrella a little away from us to test us. These tests aren't meant to be bad, they're for helping us grow stronger. Since God knows all of us, at those times of testing he will let sin tempt us only enough to what he knows we can handle. Nothing more.
      And for your question, I think it's all really the same though. One sin weighs just as much as the other and to God its all the same. Willful or not, they're still sins and we should help one another out to stray away from sin as much as we can. Another thing is that we ourselves are not righteous. Our righteousness solely comes from Christ and it dwells within us. We are all made righteous THROUGH Christ. Speaking though personal things. I struggle a lot with sin. Daily. Constantly. 24/7. Its not something I want to be doing but that's just how it goes. I give into temptation. A lot. Now even though that happens to me, I don't judge other people nor try and make it so that we should compare ones sin to another, for we have all sinned against God right. Yet, we are made one through Christ. We are equal. There is no need for us to compare one to one another but there is a need for us to guide and lead one another away from sin and into righteous living.
      I'm not sure if that made sense at all and maybe I'm just yapping a little bit but I tried to just say what felt right and asked God for guidance. Hope it does help a little with your question though, God bless brother, Amen.

      So how do we distinguish between Christians who "sin" and Christians who "sin wilfully" if every sin is wilful?
      We don't distinguish by sin at all. This is a false issue made up by Christians that are self righteous. You're right, all sin is willful.
      Christians often describe "fruit" as works or how someone changes. But scripture defines fruit as what someone SAYS. What do they TEACH and does it line up with the bible? The only way to know that is to read for yourself. You have to read for yourself or you will always struggle because you won't know who or what to believe.
      Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Who is "them"? It tells us just one verse earlier
      Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
      The fruit of the spirit is knowing you are saved by grace through your faith in Jesus. We do not work for our salvation, we can not earn it.
      we can grow in faith simply by reading His word daily, allowing the Spirit of God to give us understanding (1 John 2:27). As our understanding grows, we grow in faith. Just stay in the New Testament to read things that apply to us (the Church) and not the Old Testament which is mostly to national Israel.
      I like all the epistles and the gospel of John for the NT believer to grow in grace. Ephesians and Colossians are deep spiritual truths for the believers edification. My understanding has increasingly evolved as I read these epistles over and over a little at the time.

      He did though. The only thing I noticed that changes is the grammar in all 73 books of the bible.
      Many would say that there are missing verses and added later in the 4th Century CE meaning it is corrupted but no, those missing verses that are lost and got added are not totally make up but they reviewed everything in the scriptures and the scrolls that backs up the scripture of book. The Bible in the past is not the Bible right now because of the grammar but the message still stayed the same which is to believe in God, follow the ten commandments and believe that Jesus is the Godly Son who sacrificed his human nature to fulfill the plan of salvation.

    My friend, I like how you explain things, but there is one thing I want to say which I think you have got it wrong. The Quran says, that yes, the books like Injeel(Bible) and The Torah are true. But they have been rewritten by other people so many times, that they began to change it's meaning. The quran says, that one who follows the original books, which were given by the god, and not the modern day bible or torah, will go to heaven, and also will technically be a muslim. It is necessary for you to understand that the quran, when tells you to follow the previous books, it means the original books given by the god. The quran also tells us that it shall be the last book given by the god. It shall not be changed unlike the previous books that have come before. (Btw it is also evident in history that the bible and the torah have been rewritten many times, the quran also means that the original books given by the almighty are no longer in this world.) But if the quran is altered and changed all over the world, like the original verses have vanished, or people begin to make false verses, which is happening a lot nowadays. Some people literally made a fake surah to cure covid! But the original quran is still present. The day it will no longer be in this worls, then will the false prophet or anti jesus or as we call him in Islam, the Dajjal will arrive. Isa or christ will come back from the sky to aid the people alongside Imam Mahdi. Hope you understand this.

So we know that Jesus died for all our past, present and future sins. So why do we ask for forgiveness from God after we sin, intentionally or not, if Jesus had already paid the price and all our sins are forgiven?

    • @sambuckley3613
      @sambuckley3613 3 месяца назад +11

      You have it right. Our sins are paid for and forgiven: past, present, and future.
      Firstly, the Lord tells us to confess our sins when we pray as shown in the Lord's Prayer (forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors).
      Secondly, prayer is for our sanctification as well. Confessing your sins to the Lord is an acknowledgement of your own short comings and the Spirit will move you where He wants you to improve. Confession is also a means to praise God for the grace we have been given by acknowledging how much we need it.
      Looking forward, confessing our sins to the Lord is an also expression of hope that we will soon be free of the power of sin, and we will be with our Lord forever

      We shouldn’t really be asking for forgiveness when we repent, in fact we only do it to get closer with God and to ask for help against sin. Jesus did die for all of those sins, however that isn’t an excuse for us to abuse this death and sin harder.

      That's what the Protestantism claims (that Jesus took on our present and future sins), when the Good Book clearly states, that upon his second arrival, the Lord will judge who's gonna be from his left and from his right side. Sola fide is a very dangerous teaching. According to it you can go and murder and rape all the babies in the world and not worry a single millisecond about your salvation and forgiveness.
      In Catholicism and Orthodoxy, sin is corruptive, even physically and definitely counts towards one's salvation, even thought if any human was somehow able to live without ever sinning, that's still would not be enough for his or her salvation. In essence, it's supremely important in Catholic and Orthodox Christianity to repent and ask for forgiveness, because the sins accumulating are choices that can keep one away from G'd in the afterlife. His Holiness burns through sin and inequity and to be "saved" (put in the presence of Almighty) while packed full of sines would mean eternal torture. G'd therefore does not force salvation on people for simply believing in His existence and Divine nature but do whatever evil they can think of during lifetime.
      That's in a nutshell, and simplified.
