that Knipex cable knive has special adjustable rotating blade for circular and axial cuts, for a moment. If you would like to make sure none of shielding conductors are cut along just do a 3/4 of a sheath depth and then rip them off

Glad to see the inner sheath penetrating past the gland, (preferably by 10mm or more) time and time again I see this well inside the gland, and after time the shrinkage due to post installation movement and age means this slips back to an unacceptable level.
I fail this type of work, get the contractors to do it again at their expense, also I find the seals on the floor after installation, its the easiest fail ever, I ask the contractors which gland have they left the seals out of?
If they aren't sure (they never are) they have to split and redo all of them.
