The Dark Timeline is a timeline in which Starfleet was not limited by the morals and rules of the prime timeline, such being that they have much stronger defenses and offenses by unethical means. They were known to have their ships armed to the teeth with extremely powerful weaponry, shields, and tons of armor. Every faction is afraid of the federation of this "Dark Federation". Those who feared them either joined as an ally, or avoided them at all costs... Well... unless you are the borg. The borg attempted to fight the Dark Federation, which ended up in a long war between them. Because of the lack of moral rules like that of the Prime Timeline, they develop technologies much much faster. Not borg level, but still fairly high. The borg were defeated when the Dark Timelines version of Jean Luc Picard basically did similar to Admiral Janeway in "Endgame", where he allowed himself to be assimilated and basically zip bombed the collective (lol). With the collective in chaos, the Dark Federation was able to hunt down all the borg ships in the Alpha Quadrant and destroy them. After recovering Jean Luc, he decided to keep some of his cybernetic implants from the borg to enhance his motor functions. Overall, the Dark Federation was smack dab in the middle of the Terran Empire and the Prime Federation. In my headcannon at least, this timeline is where Empress Georgiou ended up when she went through the Guardian of Forever. The people of the Dark Timeline are more civilized than that of the Terran empire, but still share some of the features to them. They enjoy fighting for sport, however they do not let it dictate the command chain, get in the way of official orders or duty. Despite this, ship to ship combat is rare as they only fought when they had to, but when they did, they wouldn't stop until you were destroyed. They did use unethical weaponry like subspace and isolytic type weapons, and the science and research departments (S31, but they don't need to be secretive in this universe) usually run experiments using strange kinds of energy, which allows them to develop many powerful weapons and shield types. Later in the Dark Timeline (around the 30th century and beyond) they began using "Subspace Armor" Which made a subspace field around the inner hull of the ship, which prevented from phased, subspace and even some temporal weaponry.
Even before I read your lore above, I had roughly 80% of this all outlined in my head from watching that ship fight. What an intuitive and fantastic timeline!
@@MisterMarin XD somebody actually commented on one of my videos. You're not wrong though, also they are not necessarily evil, they're more of an exact balance of the two. While the Terran empire had stronger weapons but less powerful shielding, the prime universe had more powerful shielding, but less powerful weapons. The dark timeline is the perfect balance of both, where both are equally as powerful and well-developed. And because the federation of this timeline did not ban weapons that would have been banned in The prime timelime, it led them to greater research and development.
😳I love this Dark Eclipse Class. love the colors and fire power.. the blue lights and green shields.. very nice... ! Why do evil ships always look interesting to me. just saying..🤔 I would say against the Husnock and Galaxy X eeeh a bit much .. but trying to imagine a whole different StarFlett with more of these ships .. oh crikey... At least the ships that collided helped. lol.. still a great battle Captain and nice ship .. I tried to pause and look at it more and I like the style.. very nice video Captain... 😊🖖
This dark timeline must be one where Flynn and Tron never defeated the Master Control Program, resulting in ENCOM becoming the government of Earth, and then the galaxy!
This Dark Federation ship looks like behind the elongated saucer section, it almost looks kind of like a Klingon Vor'cha Class Battlecruiser. The only difference is the warp nacelles are slung upward as opposed to below the "wings" like a Klingon ship. There has been collaborative efforts to build jointly with the Klingons. Perhaps this version of the Federation makes the Klingons a kind of "disposable soldier" as they love to fight and die in battle. I doubt it's different in this timeline. Perhaps also the Terrans battled with the Klingons and deemed them "useful". Or maybe the Klingons realize that opposing the Dark Federation is a very BAD idea, and signed up as a subject world. Also, this ship seems to embody elements of the Solanae Dyson Sphere technology (joint Iconian/Solana).

Nice lore 😀🖖 I’ve pinned the comment so people will see it at the top.
Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. 🖖

@@RetroBadgerGaming thank ya!

WOW this Dark Timeline seems really amazing I really like the look of the Dark Eclipse class it looks really cool

the Dark Timeline is not evil
this is a beautiful ship so dark and forboding
It reminds me of the original paint scheme of the Terran Empire ships in STO back in 2011.
Uuuuuhhh... This is a nice one! Dark Eclipse... beautiful!... but the painting/decals looks a bit off....
Someone left high contrast mode on 😂
Not collisions, but happy spaceship hugging . Like the new disco ship 🙂
Awesome ship
This is the eclipse class enterprise G but in the Discovery/picard depressive dark styke.
I wish they would do an episode like this on Star Trek
Maybe put three of those up against a Galaxy Class X from Hell. You were going up against a Husnock ship which was definitely a bad idea lol.
Second Eclipse is smart enough to stay away from engaging the Galaxy Class X From Hell.
Nice Showcase!
Very interesting ship!😅
I absolutely love this ship🖖 its beautiful.
The Griffin had to ruin the paint job....I have mixed feelings about that lol
HAHA! It's a very colourful ship. The Colours go perfect. The Authors have made a masterpeice! 👏
I'm getting a bit of a Tron vibe from the Dark Eclipse. Wonder how it would do against the proper Eclipse.
Lol, that's what I thought. This is the Tron timeline.
2:55 It looks like it has multiple layers of armor.
You would be correct. The dark timelines utilize multiple layers of armor surrounded by an internal subspace barrier
That's cool 🖖
This dark timeline must be one where Flynn and Tron never defeated the Master Control Program, resulting in ENCOM becoming the government of Earth, and then the galaxy!
It looks like the textures on the ship didnt load in 😆
👍👍👍👍👍
The dark timeline, the Tron timeline?
where did you get this ship? I need it lol
Which bridge commander mods do you use? Like to get multi targeting, I’ve just installed bridge commander remastered and can’t find it
Multi targeting is only available in kobayashimaru. It’s not in bc remastered. This battle was in kobay🖖
So this is basically the Terran Empire's Section 31

I tried counting all the ships. It's galors galore! Then I realized with 86.72% certainty that exact statistics aren't my dominion.
Oh I see what you did there.
*Standing Ovation* 👏👏👏👏
But puns, most definitely are.
I dont know, sometimes I have the feeling there is a Dragon Ball Z-style power craving going on with some new ships for ST-BC
instead of a invisibility cloak a shadow cloak
what is it like inside!?
what is the punishment for being late!? death or something worse?
S31 Eclipse
the USS f*ck around and find out. I LOVE IT its like a Sovereign/vengeance hybrid that actually looks GOOD and sounds BETTER.
Kim Cardassian
Looks like it's under a blacklight or something....................Riker needs to stay away from that ship😁
OMFG BRO :D
The Federation as it *SHOULD* have been.
