1, it doesn't look comfortable to me and the fact that Zy never talked about shitty practices of Finalmouse in his Starlight review pisses me off. You can like a product but no thanks I won't buy that kind of review. I really care about companies' general behaviour more than their products and I won't support anybody that hypes up products of Finalmouse like companies.
What is your favorite mouse?
@@nanox4347 Hard to say, probably the Outset AX at the moment!
Like a solid 4 I think. I finally see pictures of a mouse that has the side profil I have been adicted to for years. But now its also thin and not over 100g? Now that is quiet Pog!
I preordered it and for the first time in my life I returned a mouse because it was uncomfortable (even after extended usage)
The back hump was so uncomfortable and it was hindering my movement (I pincher claw/fingertip hybrid) plus my unit was creaking on the sides and the scroll wheel was rattling.
If it had a different back hump (more like the zowie S2) and less comfort grooves on the thumb it would have been the perfect mouse for me, the grip width was perfect, the low front and the side buttons and were great, and the clicks were crispy.
I see what Zy tried to do here, to make something different. And we should all appreciate that. But the MZ1 is just not for me.
I heard him saying the mouse was not made for comfort but this concept makes no sense in my opinion, if you are not comfortable it means you are unable to reproduce the same exact movements with EASE, hence you're not gonna be consistent in a competitive environment in my opinion.
I'm sure some people will like the MZ1 but it's a niche mouse I believe.
I have to say Xtrfy handled the refund process really well, it shows they're a serious company. I will definitely check out their products again!
I watch most reviewers for fun, I come here for the info and experience as well. Awesome dedication! Oh, and your gameplay is nutty.
Much appreciated! Glad you enjoy these 💪
youre honestly my favorite mouse reviewer i trust your review 100% also being an expro makes you more reliable and i feel like you knid of focus on what we want to know rather than other unimportant details ! thumbs up
Thank you! Glad you like my vids, much appreciated 💪👍
So u got Zy's mouse, now we need the 20 years in Quake for the full package.

I trust this review because we all know EU>NA when it comes to fps games

Thanks, very much appreciated 💪
For a small channel you deliver really good quality, keep up the good stuff!

Waiting on my preorder to arrive. I have small hands and claw grip. I use the M42 and felt it needed to be slightly smaller. This is probably the perfect fit for me. Thanks for the in depth review Viking 👍❤️
Thanks so much! Hopefully you'll like it, it sounds like it could be very well good for you!
How was it?
@@goldythefish36 I'm using the M42 wired. The MZ1 gives me cramps on my hand. It's good for finger tip grip. I claw grip. Now I'm about to purchase the M42 wireless 🤣
cool transitions between mousepads when testing the glide!

Thanks for uploading. Always a plessure to watch your reviews.🥰
Thanks so much man, glad you like them!
This was a great video, not just as a review, but also the way it was edited, it all looked very well polished :)
Thanks a ton!
The quality of your videos are insanely good.

no better video to end of the night than a hausgaming review
Hahah, thanks! 💪💪
Thanx for the video, best review on the MZ1 by far
Was waiting to hear what mice you actually prefer for claw grip. Said there's 2 or 3 mice you can aim pretty well with but didn't mentioned.
I asume is Xm1r, M42 and Viper Mini but would really love te hear from you!!
Thanks! Much appreciated, the VAXEE Zygen NP-01s, Xtrfy M42, Outset AX, Orochi V2 are at the same level or above the MZ1 for me in terms of performance! There are even more, but these are the premium options.
Everyone else: Watches Haus to get a competitive perspective on popular and underrated peripherals.
Me: Like hearing Haus say maus.
Sup @hausgaming Very good content man. I have gotten to use the mouse for a day so far and I am in love with the MZ1. I am at 7" by 4" hands and it's perfect for me. Fits like a glove. Most people aren't seeing that the smooth spots on either side of the mouse are actually there to help you to know where to place your fingers on the mouse for optimal hand placement on the mouse. But with that being said those finger placement spots are around RocketJumpNinja finger placement of his own fingers. I have noticed my quick scope shots with the MZ1 has improved over other mice that I have used. Reason behind this is the groves in the mouse one and two for my fingers. I don't prematurely hit the scroll wheel while trying to hit my pistol at the same time or what ever you have binded to your scroll wheel. All and all you covered a lot of good stuff. Also like the younger you pics man. Sometimes we all forget we were all teens sometimes. Lol. Keep up the great content man. I will be back for sure. Peace out my Viking friend.
Thanks again Fatal! I'm glad you like the MZ1 !
I use the same tilted claw grip style with the M42 middle hump shell, and I would imagine it's basically the same, but more comfortable.
M42 is more comfy than the MZ1 with this gripstyle? It depends, I've tried it now with different mice, and I have to say it works with larger mice very well as well.
Quality content once again, thank you very much!
Glad you enjoy it!
Superb review, 4 weeks to review a mouse that is dedication. I'm hesitating between MZ1 Zy's Rail and the Razer Orochi V2, as I want to transition gradually to fingertip from my claw grip (19x10cm hands). But MZ1 Zy's rail shape might not be a good one for transitioning, it's a bit risky. Leaning more towards the safer egg shape of the Orochi V2 now to start my transition and it seems to be more claw grip friendly. And hopefully in a couple of years I will fingertip a revision of Zy's rail mouse. Eager for your final Orochi V2 review (and Pzogel's) in a few weeks. Cheers! I mean an XM1r Mini probably be the best fit for my claw grip, but I'm not waiting a whole year for it, it's taking forever.
Orochi V2 is the safer bet. Why do you want to transition to fingertip grip though?
@@hausgaming Mostly sheet and giggles. But the mouse in my office is a tiny Dell MS116 (I think), back hump tall butt and damn it's so easy to fingertip or aggressive claw, I have a lot of dexterity with it so now I want a proper gaming mouse with a similar shape. Also I've heard from a couple of mouse reviewers they became more accurate by going for smaller mice and fingertip. I mean I've been maining a paracorded Rival 600 since 2018, large ergonomic mouse that I can aggressive claw while being super serious, relax claw if tired and palm for casual stuff, but it's too big and heavy 96g thus I lose dextrerity. So want to spice things up with a lightweight mouse, wireless would be a bonus too. See if fingertip works for me long term but if it's killing my wrist and comfort I would rather have a shape that can revert to at least an aggressive claw grip. So far only Orochi V2, MM711 (bad build/QC) or an eventual XM1r Mini would fit that criteria (basically a mouse btw 10.5 cm and 11.5 cm in lenght). Maybe the Roccat Burst Pro but I think it's a bit too large for what I'm looking based on that tiny dell office mouse, also I don't like swarm software and their hexagon LED aesthetics either. Edit forgot the Xtrify M42 with back hump shell, could work but that cable...
Can't believe Daddy Haus was a pro gamer SHEEESH 🥶🥶🥶🥶

my No.1 reviewer :) Keep going dude
Thanks so much, will do!
Wow, what an excellent and thoughtful review. The best I've seen on this mouse. Thanks! I just so happen to have that exact claw grip that you described adjusting to, but I'm happy with what I'm using now (Pwnage Ultra Custom Wireless Symm). Might have to give this a try later down the line though.
Thanks, much appreciated! One surefire upgrade over the Symm could be the Xenics Titan GX Air Wireless. It's 2 grams heavier, but it has a better battery life, better wireless implementation and better click feel!
i didn't realize it was an ergo shape, thanks for pointing that out! cool review
Thanks! Yeah, it's like a semi ergonomic mouse. These have gotten more popular now, and might get even more pouplar in the future! VAXEE/Zowie guys are again pawing the way for something new!
yes kammyz! great review as always dude i pre ordered the mz1 but cancelled my order to wait for reviews on the product i picked up a viper mini instead :D
Thank you! Viper mini is rarely a bad choice!
@@hausgaming I am little sceptical of the 3mm lift of distance but either with razers firmware or the old school tape trick I can lower the LOD to something I'm comfortable with
Great and fair review Haus! I'm a fingertip gripper and I aim best with low buttons. I'm getting mine today and hoping it's very good for me.
Hope you enjoy it! I think it's a very safe shape for ftip, so should be good for you!
Excellent review, covered everything well, actually impressed and subbed.
Thanks! I appreciate it.
thanks for the review buddy

@@hausgaming dont ever think about shaving that amazing beard man
The EBA is a REALLY nice pad, but it practically demands thick, rounded feet to feel right. Most stock feet are just unbelievably scratchy. My M42 included.
Curious if you experience very high LOD on the EBA with the G203 or G305 though, massively increases it here. GPW seems okay though with it's newer HERO version.
Yeah the G305 struggles with high LOD on that pad, and maybe all pads with coloured artwork, I haven't tried others with the G305. The issue with EBA for me is exactly that, it's very feet dependant, and I still think that other pads provide similiar performance with a "safer" surface. I'll have a review on it in a week or so!
i also claw with my fingers touching the very back of the clicks like you lol. glad to hear your opinion, don't think it make much sense for me to get it. if i recall correctly, RJN placed a lot of emphasis on the low profile clicks, something to do with better reflex or better aim i forgot.
Low profile clicks are nice, but I think the importance is overstated.
another good review sir! TY
Don't thank me, I'll thank you for watching! 💪
Another great review! Loving the MZ1 so far personally as well and can't wait to give it more game time!
Thanks! Hopefully you'll end up liking it
I enjoyed your review and wanted to gauge if i felt the same way. looking forward to your updates on the shape.
i've had about 15 hours on the mz1 and i really enjoy the fit. im just under 20x10 and my hand is naturally finding the grip it wants. im going cold turkey on 1-3-1 claw and am going back and forth between fingertip and claw in a normal 1-2-2 position.
Thanks! I doubt my opinion changes on the mouse at this point, but I'll do a follow-up at some point in the next two weeks.
another great review haus
Thank you! 💪
Great review. Also wild, on your team pic (all 5 R players), on the left, is that Tim Dalton? Not sure if I remember his name correctly but he really looks like a guy I played competitive Medal of Honor with
Thank you, hahah yeah that's Tim Denton :D small world! He's a great guy
New Haus video Pog. The new grip that you used for the MZ1 is kinda the grip I've been doing for a little while. With my palm really only really having contact with the mouse by the surface area just under my pinky. I just got the NP-01S today, would you recommend the MZ1 for me with my grip in mind.
For me, I perform the same with the NP-01S and the MZ1, but I get no pain whatsoever discomfort with the NP-01S. I think the MZ1 is a good mouse for you to try out though, it's by no means a certainty that you will have discomfort/pain with the MZ1.
@@hausgaming gonna just get a good feel for the NP-01S before I make that decision. My grip immediately felt at home with it though.
Feet are bit slow for my liking but think it's just because I'm so used to Corepads at this point.
Mahtava video! jatka samaan malliin.
Paljon kiitoksia!
Hi, what camera/lenses have you used in this video to film yourself? I really like the quality of the picture :)
Sony a6400 + Sigma 16mm lens! The lightning is bad though, too much natural light from the window in my room. Ordered some darkening curtains or whatever they are called a few days ago!
hi haus! Great review!
Thanks so much! 💪
Niiice waited for IT!!
Hopefully you liked it 💪
I'm always impressed by how long you use the mouse and go in depth on your experience with it! I got a razer viper mini a week or 2 ago (thanks to your reviews :D ) and I feel like I'm aiming better but I'm scared its too small for my hand (19x9.5 cm) because I used the deathadder elite for 3+ years. I did have a bit of discomfort in my hand recently but it went away quickly and maybe it was because my hand is adjusting. Should I return it and look for a more high profile mouse or stick with this one?
Thanks so much! I've often had what I call "passing" discomfort, which basically happens initially in the adjustment period. It's nothing to worry about if it just quickly happens and then goes away. If it comes back, then I'd definitely replace the Viper Mini with a wider or a higher profile mouse. For me it's often the low profile & thin combo that causes issues. The pain that I had with the MZ1 could be partly caused because I played a lot more than I have recently (because I had to adjust to the unique shape).
@@hausgaming I hope it is just the discomfort and not hurting my hand I am enjoying how light it is. I'll keep it until it hurts my hand again or at the end of a week or to so I can think about it. Like you said I may have to go bigger and get a np01, m4, or some other ergonomic mouse 👍
The review was really clean, loved it
Glad you liked it! 👍
I was wondering all the time, until I visited your Twitter profile. Nice to see an ex-CoD pro (Reason Gaming, wasn't it?) getting back into the public space. Cheers!
I started in TEK9 and played for Reason Gaming later on ! I wasn't really at my peak in the later Reason Gaming days anymore, I had lost interest in CoD :(

That LU with davy, ozwald, strelok and haya, right? That was pretty much at the beginning of CoD 4's life. A lot of the old school players lost motivation or shifted responsibilities relatively early after the MW release. So, you weren't alone.
yoo i have been waiting for this one ;D

Solid review and nice editing

Hey man great review, looks like you have a high dpi/sens if so, what is your DPI and in game SENS for CSGO? Thanks!
1600 DPI and 0.77 sens!
did the palm of your hand have stable contact with the hump of the mouse? I feel like I need a mouse with a hump because no hump makes my aim shaky, is this worth a buy?
10/10 review 👌🏻
You you mind telling me your cs sens? Asking for a friend ._.
Thanks! 0.77 and 1600 dpi!
Mines arriving in 3 days. As a claw gripper I'm shook.😳
Just ordered one. How u liking yours?
Holy fuck, those old pics are awesome!
I used to be a beautiful man
@@hausgaming my mz1 will be here tomorrow. Pretty sure it's gonna be way too small for me.
Trying fingertip has really unlocked my aim since I got the model O minus so I'm looking forward to this new shape experience that could conclude my quest for shape
(although I have now my custom one for that gripstyle that needs prototiping).
Any ideas on how to reduce the weight on MZ1????
I really wish it could be 10g less tbh
Thanks! You could tinker with the mouse and prolly remove the RGB if you want to get rid of some weight, I don't see the need myself.
Hausgaming is just 👌🏻
Noticed you playing quake. Was wondering if you played any unreal tournament 2004 back in the day? I got it off steam for 15$. That game was so ahead of its time.... I wanted a game where I could improve my aim and test mice and mousepads and it seemed like a good game to do that with cause it incorporates every aim movement... I remembered how much of a blast UT was back in the day.
I ttried UT back in the day, but I very much prefer Quake over it myself!
Interesting that you performed so well with the mouse. Let me ask you: Why did you change your claw-grip and didn't just try to fingertip the mouse? Are you set for life on claw?
Claw is objectively the best grip style if you review products, as it's the most flexible. You can claw almost any mouse with different hybrid styles!
@@hausgaming Makes sense ;) After trying the MM720 I forced myself into a fingertip/claw hybrid. Think im gonna try the same grip on the mz1 when it arrives
Do you reckon you'd like a plus sized version of this more and possibly have less comfort problems with it?
The hump at the back is pretty much what I want for my claw grip (19x11cm) but at the current dimensions it's just not high enough to really work for me
Hard to say at this point. I think a slightly wider version wouldn't hurt and the hump could also be a bit less steep / more high profile!
I have the MZ1 one for me as well and I’ve been switching from claw grip to fingertip but honestly I’m not too sure about the shape, I really hate the holes on the side to be honest, any other mice that are much safe for claw grip?
Many much safer options for claw! Like GPX, XM1, NP-01 from VAXEE, ZOWIE S2, ZA13 etc etc
I got mine in today, and found it extremely uncomfortable. It seems to me that it was thoughtfully built with exclusively his handsize in mind. I don't know if it's worth spending the time to get myself comfortable on it. I haven't had a mouse feel this bad out of the box before. My hands are 20x10cm, and I've enjoyed some "small" mice, but it's hard for me to claw, and it feels uncomfortable in fingertip. I wish it was the same shape but just scaled up 10-20%. It feels like it COULD be comfortable if it was somewhat closer to a good size for me.
Yeah, this mouse is 100% not for everybody. I think the XM1r that's hopefully released later this year and the NP-01S are the easiest recommendations for small mice.
What keyboard are you using in this video? I like the low profile it has.
G915 TKL!
I forgot to add this comment. What i want to see is an mz1 wired without holes. Like razer did on the viper mini 61 grams without holes all internal cut out to make it lighter and solid build quality.
Wireless MZ1 at the same weight would be pretty pog
About 4.2069
Finally!
Haha yeah, I'll take my time testing products before I'll release a review!
@@hausgaming I know man your reviews are quality!
Off topic, so I bought the hyperx fury mousepad and I didn't like it much then I saw your tier list and you said that it didn't really offer anything I completely agree, could you recommend a mousepad for me please? I play cs (1000dpi 1.1 sens 1100edpi) and I've used the Amazon basics mousepad (I'm ashamed) so the fury is my second mousepad.
Anyways after using the fury I felt like it didn't have stopping power at all. Which mouse pad would be good for me? I want stopping power and a same or a bit less speed, do I go with the artisan zero soft or the aqua control+/ odin hybrid or gamesense radar?
Thanks man! Love your content!
@@xkxndwb4991 Odin Infinity Hybrid, Xtrfy GP4, AC+ ROB are all very good options, so is the Artisan Zero. I'd get something cheaper to begin with. If you want more control than any of these offer, get the Radar!
@@hausgaming Wait are there cheaper ones that are comparable so I can buy one and see if I want more control or speed?
Also please please could you tell me which is the fastest and slowest of the ac+, infinity hybrid, gp4, zero?
What color blind filter are you using on that modern warfare clip?
Deuteranopia I think? I'll have to check at some point
Any notice that the mouse skates are a little bit unevenly cut out and the bottom skates one is slight bigger then the other. My copy of the mz1 seems to like this too. Weird that they design the mouse skates this way
The glide is really good on these, so do not worry about such things. I haven't even noticed :P
Awesome video!
Thanks PUBG king!
Dear haus, got mine yesterday. I'm super impressed by the shape but also a little bit disappointed. My left button has a little more pre travel than the right one, but what bothers me is that it moves a bit sideways and it feels wobbly. I was wondering if this is made on purpose or if i should get a replacement. THNX :)
Usually some wobble doesn't really matter, unless you can feel it in-game. At the end of the day, if it bothers you in-game, return it!
@@hausgaming I've also had the same wobble with the Model O. But my Air 58 was perfect and really solid. Waiting for the Starlight 12 tho! Thank you! Hugs :)
Would you say this shape is better than the ul2? I have 17.5cm by 10cm hands and i aimed very well with the ul2 with claw grip. Currently I’m using the g pro x but feel like it’s hard to micro aim
I feel this is better than the UL2
You play csgo without Net graph 3? Very interesting. Nice review though, thanks.
I disable it at times when I record stuff for videos
What about the MZ1 for palm grip? Isn’t that what it is mainly marketed for?
It's definitely not market for palm grip
I got my mz1 yesterday and love it, ill let you know if i experience any issues such as grip, i have strong fingers which i tend to accidentally click buttons so the extra force of the buttons are very helpful, if i notice problems or problems with grip i’ll edit this comment

Next week by the latest!
Is your main still the M42/NP01S? Have you tried the Skypad mousepad yet?
I need to contac Skypad for a sample. Outset AX or NP-01S is my main atm.
How good are the clicks?
I give a good description of the clicks in the video!
I currently use a g703 and have no intentions of changing it but do you think this mouse would feel good with 17.5cm x 9.25cm hands with claw fingertip?
Could be, but if you like the G703 this is ofc VERY different.
@@hausgaming I went from model o- to razer viper to g703 and my aim doesn't seem to be affected by the mouse. I'm using 1.2 @800 dpi for quake so about 43cm/360
So you used this mouse like it was the MM720 but with worse ergonomics and you did well?
RJN would say otherwise, the 720 is trash for him
I wouldn't say I used it like I would use the MM720 at all, but yeah different things for different people 💪

outro song?
im 20.5x11cm fingertip grip do you think this is the new number 1 mouse for my hand/grip combination? or is there another shape that is better.
Your hands might be a tad large for this. But I can't say for sure. It's hard to say, I don't really fingertip and I do not know many ppl who ftip with such large hands. XM1r/Superlight are probably the safest options for your handsize.
