Another fantastic review. You are now my go to reviewer for mice reviews. I put my pre-order in the other day can't wait for it arrive I loved my fnatic thorn and like you I was hoping for a bigger maya glad to see Lamzu has launched one
I'm using the DA v3 Pro and one of the features I love is different x/y DPI. I have a lot of side to side space, but up and down? Not so much. People hate on Razer software a lot (for good reasons) but the feature abundance is one of the best things about Razer. Hopefully the Fnatic x Lamzu MAYA X will have an individual x/y DPI option.
@@tab242 I tried but the box turns orange and the texts fade out, and there's no option to change x and y individually. There's only a x/y ratio and lock.
@@alin_884 if im being honest, i adapt my grip to whatever feels appropriate for a mouse. i believe i do use palm grip, but i dont think it was designed with that in mind. seems fine for me though. ive used many grip types and never once found any to not be comfy eventually. what i really cared about was the debouncing and 8k on clicks separate from the sensor.
My endgame is still the OP1 8k. (No pun intended) For us small mice enjoyers it's just that great and don't need to worry about battery life either. I really dislike how optical switches feel so being able to choose whatever mechanical switches I like on it is just that great.
@@Bovineicide That's interesting and unfortunate. In the beginning I was also getting some pains, but I just needed to relax my relaxed claw grip a bit more and now there's no problem. I even use an OP1 at the office for 8hrs+. 19x20cm hands btw. But it could just not be for you, as everyone is different.
I watched a bunch of reviews after seeing this one and this mouse was generally praised and loved by all. I ended up getting it and I can confirm this mouse feels really great. Coming from the original Superlight it feels higher quality in the hand and a lot larger, but also lighter. Its a strange feeling but damn does it feel good to use and aim with. This thing is a machine and instantly improved my consistency and kovaaks scores
For me the Lamzu Atlantis Mini is the most perfect mouse I have ever held. I still can’t believe it exists. Interested to try the Maya one day when I get more time and money lol
Now please tell me why nobody bothers to include stl files for 3d printing on marketing page. How people are supposed to choose mice when this is such a subjective matter?
Great video once again! Would love to see your thoughts on the Lamzu Atlantis OG V2 and how it compares to the other competitors. Been on the fence with making a decision on a new mouse and these guides have been super helpful. Thanks again!
I want to try this mouse but I'm held back by the obvious issues, 1. I've never heard of Fnatic/Lamzu matched with the premium price I just can't take such a risk. 2. To add to 1, it doesnt look super high-quality, it looks 3D printed. (love the design) but that just reinforces the above 3. Battery life and click sound, I need a pro mouse, its nice that it has 8K for gaming and optical helps here But I cannot pull the trigger for >$100 which makes me sad because I wanted to love this mouse.
I bought a viper v3 pro like a month ago and my only complaint was that after this month the M1/M2 buttons are really wobbly. It's so tiring when I'm playing, and I feel that RMB moves to the sides. I've decided to return vv3 pro because for such a high price I'll not bother with opening and fixing the buttons. Especially that M1/M2 on the Viper are using rivets which is ridiculous. After watching your review I've decided to order a Maya X and give it a try. I hope it will replace my GPX2/VV3 Pro.
You can rebind the DPI button to swap polling rates instead. I much prefer this then being forced to have Synapse running always and is such an odd thing that Razer refuses to implement to their mice.
I am torn in between getting Scyrox v8 or spending more for Lamzu Maya X. I know these are pretty different in shape but I dont know which I like more. The price difference is pretty saginificant though and I dont know if I can justify getting Maya or maybe I dont see some huge difference that will make me take Maya?
Scyrox is considerably smaller, so if you have smaller hands or like smaller mice you might prefer that. Another big difference is maybe build quality, as the maya feels fancy and really high quality, and the scyrox feels more thin.
Can I ask a question? Does the mouse have slam-click issues? I'm asking because my Lamzu X Fnatic Thorn has this problem, and I have to set the debounce time to as much as 3 ms to stop it. I know this isn’t a lot, especially since I keep the polling rate at 4K, which drastically reduces debounce time, but I’m wondering if they have addressed this issue with this mouse. Thank you.
I have og Maya and while I love it, I do get some cramping sometimes and default to fingertip because claw the sensor feels too low. I have smaller hands 17x8.5 but i spent years on a g pro. Should I go for something like a Lamzu thorn/ergo for comfort or risk getting a Maya again but the X version and hoping it’ll fix it? Aka idk if it’s a shape issue or size issue
Its funny how almost there is not a high end mouse that do what I want , that is a higher finger position , I want my finger more straight and not curving down.
I wish they'd stop using cutouts as a way to cut weight. I have dogs, and the hair is real. I know they have that sticker insert, but I wish it was an actual plastic piece that popped in, or out depending on preference.
@@Frozoken You musta missed where I said "I know they have a sticker insert." Maybe actually pay attention to the whole statement instead of contributing nothing to the conversation.
raesha opticals are great for anyone who doesnt want the stiffest switch imaginable, apparently light = cheap. every omron implementation i've tried has been too stiff.. gpx2, sprime pm1, sora v2, sword x. got dex coming in tomorrow; i'll probably hate it as well. the only other mouse i've ever tried with stiffer clicks than omron opticals was the zowie am-gs zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
@@TheRealAstro_ Hmmm I will say, not too much of a fan of the shape. But that is because it is for all "Relaxed" grip styles. It will go the distance and do some serious speed, but its just not right for the specific request. Does that make sense?
@@Steanford I ended up getting it also and I really love it. An aggressive grip style usually makes my aim worse so I think this forcing me to relax my hand more causes better performance.
