@@haylobos8261 Wrong, HE was GOD In human form in order to take on our sins and die in our place, because we could not do that. We each already have our own sin where we have failed to meet GOD'S standard. That's why HE had to come. It was promised from the very beginning. But it's like JESUS said: Light came into the world and mankind preferred darkness rather than light. But all those who come to the like he gives the power to become the son's of God. It's not a gender thing either, because we really will be one then in the SPIRIT. WE will get a new body after these die.

Jesus didn't learn that Lazarus was dead when he arrived in Bethany. Jesus knew what this was about the whole time. John 11:4. You either believe that, or you believe that Jesus was wrong about this sickness not being "unto death". Note that Jesus stayed where he was 2 more days (vs. 6). Jesus had a purpose and he played it out. His purpose was to bring God glory and demonstrate that even the grave was no match for him. Blessed be His name!

Knowing a location doesn't prove a miracle happened. The apologist uses logical fallacies like this all the time. As I said in my own recent vid. There is not evidence of Yeshua's miracles--there is evidence, probable indirect evidence of his existence. The writings of Josephus, Tacitus and Pliny the Younger is a common apologist talking point because well after the fact they mention a man named Yeshua. No one states they believed he rose from the dead except Christians. Not Pharisees, Romans or anyone else. There are archeological places confirmed that are mentioned in the bible. Like Jacob's well. That doesn't mean Jesus was there and if he did cross that path it doesn't mean he revealed his divinity to a woman. These writings at best and only a few of them were written decades after he died. The real fact the apologist won't recognize is that during Christ's life and death--not one piece of signed authorship confirmed any of this. Not from a Roman, Jew or his followers. You have not one piece of paper, papyrus or lines on an animal skin that state "I knew Yeshua. I witnessed his miracles, I saw him rise from the dead. Signed Friend of Yeshua." That's why former Christians like me have now completely rejected Jesus being divine. Cheers, DCF

That is an allegorical story not a literal story.....but this does not take any greatness away from it......

No Iris, This is a very real and accurate story. We read later that Lazarus was eating supper with Jesus. Also keep in mind, this was the precipitous event which made the religious leader decide that they needed to kill Jesus. With all of these events being stated in the gospels, had they been a falsehood, they would have been denied by the people. Many were still alive when the gospels were written, who were present at the times and places of the event occurrences. Had there been evidence otherwise, it would have been presented a thousand times over.
@@chiefandgigi7110 Absolutely. This gospel was a threat to many very powerful, evil men. Any chance to discredit any portion of it; ESPECIALLY the resurrection of a dead man(!), would have been seized upon and exploited to the fullest.
Many others, even just before this time, had attempted to claim to be messiah, or others claimed they were...but all of them are forgotten to time since it was easily proven that they were not. IF they could have shown deception of any kind, the name of Jesus would be lost to history as another false Christ. They tried 1000 different ways TO discredit these truths, but failed to. Because He IS the CHRIST!! And what's more is....HE LIVES!!
