Been struggling a lot this past month but I have remembered that it’s not about me but about the sacrifice of Jesus who paid the price for me. That’s what my trust and hope is in.
If you want men to know you have faith it requires actions/deeds/words. God already knows what trust in Him is "true" because He knows the hearts of all men. He doesn't need to wait to see by how we live. Some Christians languish in immaturity and are called carnal by Paul in 1 Corinthians. Some sin so badly they are killed by the Lord as discipline yet Paul says they are still saved when that occurs. We can't add a requirement to faith in Christ of "actions later on" to the gospel or this is adding To the gospel. James in context is talking to ALREADY saved "brethren" he calls them. He is saying they should stop being partial and spring their faith to life (action) because a dead (inactive) faith isn't good for anyone and it's like seeing the hungry and saying "be blessed and full" without actually giving someone food. He says " show me your faith apart from works and I'll show you my faith by my works." This is man to man, not man to God it has nothing to do with SOTERIOLOGY how could it, the people James is writing to are already saved. " You believe God is one you do well even the devils believe that and tremble " this is talking about believing there is a god, not having faith in Christ for forgiveness of sins. Christ didn't die for devils so it's impossible to make a comparison there of how they believe and how we believe doe salvation's sake
@@BrockJamesStoryI would beg to differ. When looking at the Old Testament and James, they also say the same concept of true faith manifesting itself in actions, just in a different lens. It takes looking at these books that some people misuse with a different lenses and much prayer.
@@nuriahtracy24 For example in the dispensation of grace you can't know someone is saved based on their works, but James says he will show his faith by his works. You can't show your faith according to Paul because faith is not of works. So if you have faith that is enough to save you, it does not have to demonstrate itself in action./
Thank You Dave, excellent take on Justification=just as if I hadn't done it, because of CHRIST'S SACRIFICE for me/us and by Faith in What HE DID! MARANATHA Dave and Cold Water ☝️✝️
I don’t think this has ever been explained so deeply yet simply and clearly. I understood the concepts well, just didn’t quite know how to explain it to others. Thank you for such a blessing from this video 😊

If you are under the impression that this man is doing any type of proper historical analysis, you are very mistaken. This is pure tripe for any of us who actually take the study of history seriously.
Total acquittal exoneration and absolved from all guilt condemnation punishment penalty wrath and Judgement for sin … in The Sight of GOD we are Justified because of The Blood of CHRIST ROM.4:25 ROM.5:1 it is of FAITH 🎉🎉🎉

Yes, this is so true. It's never about any of us, it's always about Jesus!
Imputed by God when we believe and are unashamed of Him ❤️❤️ Learned from the Lord through PBI
I appreciated what you said, "True Faith Will Always Demonstrate Itself In Action." Amen!
Right much different than the Old Testament and what James says how it has to demonstrate itself in action.

Have just been reading Raggamuffin Gospel and this term had me stumped. So glad to find this
I love the way you explain the Bible, it's so easy to understand and I love everything about all your videos.
Another excellent video.
God has truly given you a gift of explaining his word.
Dave - your presentation and style are so very helpful for understanding. Thank you for this video!
Thank you for posting the video clip about justification.
I would argue it’s actually because of the faith of Jesus that we are saved not our own faith.
Enjoyed this . Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed our clip! Don't forget to check out the entire series on RightNow Media or at www.Drivethruadventures.com/biblebackroads
I watch your show on TBN on Wednesday nights when it doesn't get canceled for special things. I am glad I found this on RUclips. Thank you.
@@DriveThruHistory Are you an Orthodox Christian if not what do you think about the orthodox church.
@@DriveThruHistory Oh can you do a history video of the Orthodox church!!!!!!!!
However the dispensation of grace was hid in God from the beginning, revealed to us only by Paul it was not prophesied etc
I always luv your videos but this one seemed to end abruptly, I was waiting for more.
