The most annoying part of making my own 5c sliver deck over the years has been the manabase, especially the lands, so I would definitely not look forward to upgrading that mess I do still plan on getting it, but it will take a slot in my pile of precons I bring out for games I don't wanna take as seriously with whatever I cannibalize for my actual sliver deck being proxied This one I'm buying singles from for my Mono-Redhead deck (Oops All Chandras) I'm hoping the Eldrazi one will be decent, that one I wanted to get to upgrade

Slivers is a 5 color deck. This is a 3 color deck. No reason to print bad lands in a 3 color precon. They have the perfect lands to reprint and they are not doing it : the lands from battle bond
I don't know, the actual planeswalkers aren't that amazing save for like two of them and they're pretty low in quantity for a PW deck. Both of these points are because they don't want the deck to have too much value which is kind of a shame.
Chain Veil Teferi tribal in Leori baby!! 😎 In all seriousness, this was a cool preview! The new cards seem like cool additions without making the archetype too busted.
The first precon EDH deck I ever bought was Zedruu the Great-Hearted waaaay back in like 2011, and Jeskai has been my favorite color combo since and I love when precons take it in a new direction; it's just a versatile color combination.
This deck is very sweet! The new cards are cool and there are some nice reprints like Chandra Awaken inferno, the Chain Veil or the talismans. Of course the manabase is lackluster but the filterlands are a welcome reprint, haven't seen them in a long time. Overall much much better than the sliver one in my opinion, the only problem is of course the price...
I believe someone (can't remember if MaRo or Doug Beyer) said on a Tumblr post that Vronos is Azorius colors, which was also fuel for a running gag that Azorius is the most doomed 'walker colors since before Niko got introduced every known Azorius 'walker got desparked or killed at some point. (And yes, that includes Teferi. He got better.) I think they just wanted 1 new 'walker card for every color so that's why he's mono-blue this time around.

My hatred of planeswalkers as a card type, and thus Superfriends as an archetype, will never die. If I see these motherfuckers on a table ever, I will go out of my way to make sure they die.
Some dope art, some dope reprints. Thing is, Wizards claiming this isn't a premium product is an actual insult to consumers. I'm trying so hard to focus on the bright side of all this. Why couldn't this whole set be priced the same as Dominaria Remastered? It just makes no sense.

I feel like the problem with these decks (slivers, superfriends, and probably the other 2) is they went for kind of the value and power level of a normal precon, that cost like 30-40 dollars, yet these msrp's seem a lot closer to 70. So I feel like they should be either a little stronger or a little better value. After hearing all the spoilers for the main set I have been thinking okay the value is all going to be in these precons. then after seeing 2 already its like... dang you didn't even reprint some of the good support cards for these in the main set such as (sliver hive, or sliver queen...) kind of a let down of a set that I was really excited for. Deck seems fun but for like 70 dollars I don't know if its worth it and to actually make it good, probably some more in the lands. Also every time the forgo reprinting fetches and shocks I am looking at proxing stuff so much more.
Damn this is such a well constructed precon. I thought this would be the weakest since you can directly attack the planeswalkers but everything in the deck is dedicated to chump block, transforming, or buffing them.

The last time i built a Jeskai deck was in 2013/2014 and it was a Ruhan of the Fomori voltron deck. This is definitely going to be my next Jeskai deck. A tea party that spans the multiverse!!
If they could stop worrying about the secondary market so much and help players with slightly friendlier mana bases in precons, I'd be very thankful. But it's a nice looking deck.
Planeswalker decks being unable to kill is a misconception largely due to atraxa and her usual playstyle. Especially red planeswalkers but also the green tokenmaker ones can be fairly aggressive if they want to be.
The deck seems fun, and I do like Leori as he makes your ultimates easier to get to. I will say that I’m surprised and a bit disappointed that we didn’t see an Arena Rector reprint in the deck. Would have been a great place to put it.
Probably not Atraxa has his passive but better and gives a wider variety of useful walkers. Maybe if he was four colors minus green that way people could jam all their nicol bolas walkers, but I just don’t see him surpassing her. I will say I do miss not having red with her a good bit

That's not to say they can't retroactively give the cat one (I wanna say she for the cat, but uncertainty dictates otherwise). There is also multiple factors leading me to that conclusion. The art from Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast being the biggest, as well as the title given to the card. What other winged cat-beast with those features can be described like that? Unlikely a coincidence.
Is it just me or is Brago almost a strictly superior commander to both in the deck? Sure colours are worse and it is a little trickier but being able to reset then activate every planeswalker every turn should just outdo them pretty quickly.
The most annoying thing about the reprint budget and mana bases is, that its basically just Wotc sabotaging themselves. The reason Sol Ring is "budget" is because it's reprinted so often. If the same were to happen with battlebond lands etc suddenly we could have decentl precon mana bases without it affecting the overall budget to much.

He was an inquisitor from Innistrad whose spark ignition took him to Esper. He eventually returned to Innistrad, and was sent after Garruk to earn Avacyn's forgiveness. There's a reason he's debuting in a Commander deck.

guff not being able to deal with enchantments because "wah it would be a colour pie break" is such rubbish. We don't seem to care when the other colours get bleed through or ways to interact with problematic permanents, why does red and black just have to live with only having 1 card each to remove what can be game ending cards

What a cool deck, except for the part of being $80+. While I can't control how folks spend their money, I really hope no one buys anything making this set is a huge failure for WotC because of how absurd the prices are for the set/draft booster boxes and these precons.

Much better than Slivers by a LONG way. The land base alone is just a massive improvement, some very good re-prints.
No Teferi's Protection = fail.

Big stores here still sell them for 130€ its insane so about 140$

Signets don’t ramp you. A signet will not help you cast your commander a turn early.

Guff's chaos warp will never be a waste. They keep going until they hit a non-land, and then can cast it for free. Edit: removed incorrect parts
The way I read this, all players cast their spell as part of the resolution of GRH, it's like Etali, Primal Storm, not Gonti.
