On the other hand, used PC prices on eBay are dropping due to the W10 apocalypse......I just scored a legendary Lenovo Thinkpad T480 i5-8250 in perfect working condition for $86 US. Batteries are healthy too. Had to ad a charger/power supply ($14) and an SSD, of which I have many, but seriously, this laptop in this working order was $300 bucks just last year, and $1500 when new. Edit: Patience is required.........after I perused this item and left, the seller then offered it at a 25% discount I couldn't resist. Best $100 bucks I ever spent.
I really like the idea of this machine. I have Raspberry Pi and Apple M1 Mac Minis running...essentially...Linux for ARM. One can hope they update the Zenbooks to allow installing Linux on bare metal (as opposed to running it in VM).
I'm using one of them right now, I was always sold on Dell laptops. But i thought i would try one of the ASUS laptop. And i love this one. All the bells and whistles are great to have. >>>> NOW to the bad thing about the ASUS laptops When i got me new laptop 4 months ago i got a new set of wireless headphones!, The wouldn't stay connected they keep losing the signal. So i thought it was a bad set of headphones..... so I went and got another new set of headphones. And they done the same thing. So i troubleshoot everything i could think of and still the same. So i ask ASUS company for help 4 times! with NO responds what so ever! So people if you buy one of them laptop ( Make sure the wireless headphones work! ) Because ASUS isn't going to help you with any problems!!! ..... P.S. And i live here in the Philippines....
