That’s awesome, I plan on trying the rogue come summer. I smiled for the first time last summer on the south coquille and surprisingly found a few grams and it was so much fun. But I had to move two feet of overburden 😅
I stopped at the Rogue in two places near Grant's Pass. I noticed a hard pack that was cemented like concrete. It was all over. I thought all of the bottom on the Rogue was like that. Is there many places where it's not cemented gravel?
Yup there's lots of bedrock here and there, especially down at Rainie Falls. Gold hill area too. There's gold on the hardpack sometimes, and under it if your willing to chip at that stuff all day!
@@insidebendprospecting I saw a video on RUclips where a fellow broke through the cemented hard pack on the Rogue and recovered many ounces dredging for a few days. That was before dredging was banned. There's treasure under that cement. And thanks for the info.
You didn't use the thumbnail I suggested. Coward!!!! Seriously, though. You have to have a good eye for all the little gold flakes to snarf. They are so tiny! Good job, bro.
Me first? Nice…….🍻
Poor mans guitar pick ??? 🤣🤣🤣✅

With the snuff bottle under water.
All you have to do is collect the gold pieces. Wow, that's fantastic
Rigby won’t go under the water so i guess we’ll keep shoveling…🤣🐺✅
@@FlourgoldWizards That's right, I haven't seen any diving dogs.
Or does it exist?
We have to dig. Hey Jason, I had to laugh like that
lol well i didn't film moving the 3 feet of overburden.. but yes! My favorite way to prospect by far
@@insidebendprospecting All right, I hadn't considered that.
You have to clear the bedrock first
Nice gold for the day 👍🏻👀
Sure was! We've done really well at that spot this summer
Nice work man!

Caliche layer
Great job! Looks very satisfying.
How many hours have you invested this year? Your response is greatly appreciated!
Hours is tough to figure, but as a guess i've gone almost every weekend for 10 months (1-2 days), plus 3-4 weekly half days sniping
